My own preference - not aimed at anyone in particular, or aimed at everyone, if you like - would be "The rest is silence".

You could look at the pitch and see grass on it! Then peer underneath and see the Longman Aquifer...
-
Nope, grass. They have just issued a rallying call: "We need volunteers tonight at the @Dumbartonfc Stadium to help fork the playing surface and clear the standing water to help the chances of the re-arranged fixture, planned for tomorrow going ahead. Time - 6pm - bring a garden fork and/or a soft brush." So if anyone is in the area...
-
Send in the OPWC inspectors to look for fluoride in the water Is there another aquifer there?
-
How can you have more than one "minimum recommended" length of ban for a first offence? For example, you run onto the pitch. You are slung out, and you receive a written warning. But is the minimum recommended ban 12 weeks, 6 months or 12 months?
-
No they won't. Payroll systems will just have to have up-to-date tax codes for everyone, as always. See my post a few above yours.
-
Cheers, Yngwie - I was wondering how close to suspension he is. Is there an online site showing current tallies? I had a quick look but couldn't find one.

There is a registered - and very inactive - company called "Inverness Caledonian Thistle Supporters Society Limited". Company number SP2665RS. Just to confuse things, it is described as an "Industrial and provident society". So I'm not even going to guess which rules apply. I seem to renember someone saying that "Caley Jags Together" is an informal operating name or brand name for this Society.

Political Correctness off topic stuff
snorbens_caleyman replied to ferben1994's topic in General Nonsense
You didn't "refer" to it, Charles. You insulted another poster with it. Having already made a similar insult when we thought he might be of another nationality. Freedom of speech does not mean being allowed to insult who you want, how you want. I'd have thought that someone who has been employed in the media for many years would have some understanding of that. -

Matchday Thread Inverness CT -V- Brechin City
snorbens_caleyman replied to Scotty's topic in Caley Thistle
When this man said it - asked the question, actually - he was thinking of during the summer. Scottish transfer window shut at the moment. It was just an idle question. He was described as a "big striker" who never stopped trying, and who looked a threat whenever Brechin got the ball forward. Sounded like a square peg for our square hole!- 57 replies

Wonder if he'd like to stay in the Championship rather than drop down. I guess the problem is that because he's playing for Brechin you can't really tell how good he is. Worth a punt?- 57 replies

This doesn't take into account the long history and contribution of Loch Ashie over the years. I disapprove wholeheartedly and will never darken the doors of the stadium again.

As a non-seer - all I have to go on are the BBC text reports - I was thinking that there is nothing to lose. Come fast out of the traps at the start of the second half, and go for it! -

Matchday Thread Inverness CT -V- Dumbarton
snorbens_caleyman replied to Scotty's topic in Caley Thistle
I thought that Robbo said that himself in the post-match interview. But either he wasn't very coherent or I wasn't listening too closely - so it's good to have that confirmed!- 119 replies

That's being a bit too confident! Or it's another mishap with the teamsheet In fairness, Dumbarton are doing the same. Special rule for the final?- 119 replies

Can you quit with the racist crap, please, Charles? I damn near called you out last time - this time I am. Didn't the reactions to your earlier post teach you anything?

Caley Jags Together - Update
snorbens_caleyman replied to ICT Supporters Trust's topic in Caley Thistle
"Convene" is an ambiguous term. For the purposes of clarification, do they have 28 days from now to set a date for the meeting, or must the meeting happen within 28 days from now? -
Looks like you do remember correctly! http://www.lostinverness.co.uk/missing-inverness/ Scroll down to see a pic of Flora with two guns behind her. "Both cannons were sent for war scrap in 1941."
