  1. I'll be checking the CD player before we leave The Innes, he might have a mutiny on his hands if he brings it! :016: :015:
  2. Don, Can you put Uncle Albert down for a seat please. What time do you want us at The Innes? Mrs PB

Not overnight no - but against Arbroath - surely the team will be motivated to impress and give us the win we deserve!
  4. Assess the team tomorrow night - then play and bang another two past Hibs on Saturday!!!!

Time to just suck it up and accept it! He's here, it's not ideal - just gotta take it on the chin. We haven't any points and things can only get better eh! Looking forward to tomorrow night - let's see what he can do!

Russelldinho seems to be one of those players that is always going to frustrate us! He has moments of complete inspiration (Killie game last year) then games where it falls apart. The midfield is far weaker without him!
  7. You just want to moon at all the Hibs fans.............again!
  8. Dear Gorgeous Tattooed @rse, I've learnt to just enjoy today - tomorrow is a whole new adventure!!!!! Parkie, IMHO, is the very best person for the job. Of course he'll never take on the role, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy every second of him being in full control of the dug-out on Saturday! Mrs PB x Amongst all the cr@p there is a glimmering flicker of hope.....his name is Donald Park!
  9. If all is to believed, and Brewster is to be unveiled on Monday..then Parkie will be in the dug-out on Saturday. Just wanted to take the opportunity to wish Parkie all the best of luck, he's the best man to get us off the mark! There's only one Donald Park - :021: I fully appreciate the unhappiness with Brewster, but lets get behind Parkie on Saturday and stuff United! C'mon Caley Jaggies!!! Mrs PB
  10. His last stint was backed up by his playing career, which he could build the team around, and which got him out of jail on more than a few occassions. His appointment first time round showed real ambition - this time it's a definite backward step. Expectations are rightly high - we deserve better! To play devils advocate, when he left the club, he did make sure "ICT did alright out of it". Which is one redeeming feature I suppose!
  11. My feeling after the meeting last night was that is was a very positive experience. My point to Grassa about the "possible" :016: Brewster appointment perhaps not showing as much ambition as we would like, I felt was listened to and acknowleged. It was very worthwhile to have an open forum with direct access to the Chairman and Director of Football. I was pleased at the turnout, hopefully we'll have more of these events. Despite some folks pessimism - it's an oportunity that shouldn't be wasted! I don't think anyone there was under any illusion that our views would be part of the decision making process, in fact I'd be **** worried if they were, but it was a chance for them to listen and perhaps take on board some points. Perhaps the most important thing I have learnt, is that it's all very well bashing away at the keyboard, calling for this person and that person to be sacked/hung drawn and quartered - but at the end of the day these folks are only human, make mistakes like us, and have families who get hurt by comments. Yes, we have a right to free speech - but we also have a responsbility not to degrade it to name calling, and to acknowledge that for every action there's a re-action - which might affect players families.
  12. Don.....just the trick... Mrs PB x
  13. Levein was being tauted last time round - with the benefit of hindsight that would have been superb! My worry with Brewster is he's got a large media profile, so is always going to attract attention from elsewhere. I guess we'll soon see how serious he is about staying for a decent time and progressing the club. Could he attract Dods back? - we certainly need him - would be nice to stick one to Dundee Utd too! :015:
  14. Thank you Charlie for everything you have done - arguably taking ICT on at the toughest of times, at the Top Level, when expectations were at their highest! Very best of luck for the future - I sincerely hope to see you stay with us in some other capacity! :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: Mrs PB
  15. It all seems a bit "he said/she said" at the moment. If people are going to blame his resignation on our league position that seems harsh, we've never have the best of starts to the season - it's early. We played better at St Mirren, 9 games unbeaten there, it was bound to go at some point. Grassa was on the news at lunchtime stating that CC always struggled in the role, and if others on the site are to be believed this has been coming for a while. I unashamedly love Parkie to bits, he's a feckin rottweiler, that would give our lads a right and well needed boot up the erse! I'm not saying he's blameless, but at the Sponsors night CC commented on what a support DP had been for him. I think this resignation was decided on off-the-pitch matters - that's just my thoughts though.
  16. I know, I know - but I can dream can't I! Did you see him on Saturday - sprinted half way down the touchline to get the ball back so we had ever second to get an equaliser! Give me that phone, I'll ask him again! :015:
  17. No feckin way to any of them - we need to move forward - same old names being banded about! Grassa went after McCoist last time - I'm sure they've got a better Plan B than Craig Feckin Brewster! DONALD PARK FOR MANAGER He's pasionate, won't take any cr@p and knows our club inside out!
  18. Completely agree Action Man! :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: Sorry to see Charlie go, it was a very brave decision to take on the Club he loved and manage us at the Top Level. There was a bit of a commotion in the Dug-out on Saturday - but we just put that down to a bad game! Seems early for him to go, yes we're bottom - but Aberdeen and Hearts are down there with us FFS! I wish him all the very best in the future! Will be interesting to see if they let him move into another position within the club. Hopefully, this doesn't mean we'll lose Parkie - he'd be my first choice to take over - I'd personally be extremely gutted if he left! :009:
  19. Why not give it to Parkie!!!! He's no puppet, and has more passion in his little finger than some players have in their whole body! DONALD PARK FOR MANAGER - HE DESERVES IT- HE WON'T TAKE ANY CR@P! I'd be disappointed if we did go for Robbo or Brewster - definite step backwards, we need to move forward. DP has the experience to do that for us!
  20. ICT SUPPORTERS TRUST RACE NIGHT Friday 28th September Caley Thistle Social Club 7pm onwards ?3 per ticket Buffet and Disco after...bring your dancing shoes (bowling shoes will do Johndo). Should be a right giggle - hope you can all make it! Please contact myself for further details. Mrs PB x (Admin - can you do sticky please)
  21. Liam Keogh runs so fast, he runs just like a rocket. I don't know where his batteries are - perhaps their in his pocket!
  22. It's more frustration than anything else, you watch him, cheer him on, then it all becomes a calamity again! I've got my reservations about this call up, if he's playing shockingly and getting called up it's bad news. It'll give him false hope, and he'll just get slaughtered again, which in the long term will do him no good! I don't think he's of SPL quality, he needs to drop down, learn his trade, then maybe when he's tougher give it another go. He needs to get hungry again, remember what it was like to sit on the bench and want to play. Start chasing balls instead of just giving up all the feckin time! I don't know where everyone gets this idea that's he's blasting them in at Reserve games - he was sh*te against Rangers Reserves. I agree with Caley100, he's had more than enough chances to shine, time to take stock and try a new way. It ain't working!
  23. It's never dull with Rory around!
  24. Liam Keogh is very famously "blessed" in the trouser department!
  25. Surprising to say the least! Good luck to him. Hopefully he'll knuckle down a bit now, lose the "big man attitude" and live up to the potential others seem to see.
