  1. Rory's pre-season goal was an "off the erse" tap in after Hart did all the grafting! But that was enough to earn him a First Team place today apparently!!!!!
  2. What a mess! I honestly don't think that's Rowan Alexander posting, his Solicitor would be advising him to stay well clear whilst they built the case - not give Brook more ammunition! If it is Rowan, then I'm afraid he's just shown why Irons should be in charge. Interesting though, what would happen if he hadn't turned up - could Gretna have claimed breach of contract and been given grounds to terminate it? Can't wait for the next Gretna Documentary!!!! :015:
  3. I'm with you D.B.S. - Caff and Munro need protection. Fraser Tokely Caff Munro Hastings Duncan Sutherland Black Paatelainen Niculae/Wyness Hart Subs Ridgers Wilson Rankin Morgan Kerr Cowie
  4. Just trying to take something from today... Positives 1. Fraser was superb, finger tip save was class. Looking good! :021: 2. Black keeping a cool head - the guy is learning and improving 3. Hart looked hungry and created when he came on but.. Negatives 1. Rory given place in First Team - please please drop him! 2. Zander left on the bench - by far the best player pre-season - what the **** does that kid have to do to get a break!!!!!!!!!!!! 3. Defence - what a feckin mess!
  5. Rory started off looking much more keen today, he definitely (by his standards) tried alot harder. Sorry Charlie, but it's time to get rid. Whatever you saw in the lad, he's had more than enough chances to show to the rest of us. When I saw he was starting my heart sank. Surely this isn't the best we can come up with! Get rid....NOW!
  6. Can't wait....places your bets now for who it'll be..... WELL DONE BARRY - FULLY DESERVED!!!! :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: Mrs PB
  7. 2 x PB's...still can't my head around these flippin GREEN! Season Tickets though! :33:
  8. I take on board your points, but how much time do you give someone? When is enough enough? For me - it's now!!!!!!!!!!!! Rory isn't cutting it, isn't hungry and certainly isn't fighting hard to keep his place. Zander on the other hand..........
  9. How about 8pm in The Innes? Mrs PB
  10. It might not be his fault he's in the team...but he can bl**dy well do something to prove how he got there! Fecked if I know! Hart was given a fair bit of stick too about "that Rockness Incident", which I felt was a bit off, especially when the lads only yards away and trying to defend a friggin corner!
  11. Thanks everyone. It's for an Anniversary Meal. FW - what have I told you before about molesting PB - keep yer hands off him woman! :018: :015:
  12. That looks like a Fraggle - superb! God Bless ICAT - he always blows me a kiss - Christ, I hope it's a man in that Suit! :confused02:
  13. TM4TJ - first and foremost, most people on this site support the shirt first, I don't agree with people booing him at the warm-up, but he certainly frustrates me! There was plenty of encouragement for him during the game, I certainly cheered him on when he had the ball. But how many people, hand on heart, felt relieved when CC pulled him off! It seems to be an act of stubborness to keep him in the team. One burst of magic against Celtic moons ago, does not give him the right to a first team place. I think alot of people are just plain fed up with Rory now! He's had chances, but it's the lazy half hearted tackles, lack of presence in the air, and down right arrogance that annoys people! IMHO this is not a dip in form, the lad hasn't got it. Keep the thoughts to yourself next time. Make me!!! :blah01:
  14. For a lad Rory's size he gets knocked off the ball pretty **** easily! When Zander loses the ball, he works his wee erse off to get it back, going after lads twice his size, and belts the **** out of them - Rory just gives up! :008: :008: :008: When Wood and Zander came on, it was a completely different game, we started to play some decent football. Sorry Alex, but I really think Rory has had enough chances now! I don't believe he'll come good. He's lazy and a liability - he was poor and out-classed against Clach for goodness sake!
  15. Let's start the season off in style - get The Immortal One tipsy and do a Pub Crawl to the Nip Inn!!! C'mon - where's your sense of adventure! :crazy07: Mrs PB
  16. I was trying to give him a chance, but the longer it goes on, the more I'm doubting him! I really don't think he can cut it, played well against Celtic, but nowt since! Not good enough!
  17. Best £6 I've spent in ages - even if the footie was poor! Brilliant laugh! :021: Zander and Vigurs were superb, Rory disappointed again - out shone but a bunch of Mini-me's! Definitely time for a wee loan spell!
  18. It's probably still the reason Caley100 became a mechanic in the first place though eh! :015:
  19. Be careful what you wear (or don't wear) when working under your vehicle....especially in public! From the Sydney Morning Herald comes this story of a central west couple who drove their car to K-Mart only to have it break down in the parking lot. The man told his wife to carry on with the shopping while he fixed their car in the lot. The wife returned later to see a small group of people near the car, on closer inspection she saw a pair of male legs protruding from under the chassis. Although the man was in shorts, his lack of underpants turned private parts into glaringly public ones. Unable to stand the embarrassment she dutifully stepped forward, quickly put her hands UP his shorts and tucked everything back in place. On regaining her feet she looked across the hood and found herself staring at her husband, who had been standing idly by. The mechanic however, had to have three stitches in his head!
  20. I'll get Gringo to go for us next time, he should have no trouble! :blah01:
  21. Don - you are fast becoming the Victor Meldrew of this site! :blah01: I think your basic argument is flawed "Despite the great price it is still outwith the scope of the majority of fans" - that's certainly not the reaction we are getting, and certainly, based on current replies to this thread, not the opinon of many people on this board!
  22. Sorry, but the Co-op are really starting to do my bl**dy head in now! Whatever happened to a bit of common sense.? I've been ID'd twice in the Co-op on Church Street now. I'm pretty sure, despite my youthful looks (ahem! :004:), I don't look friggin 17, still no joy! Then on Saturday both Mr PB (34) and myself (30) both got ID'd again in the one in Fortrose! I realise that they have a job to do and the fines are quite rightly high, but surely to God they can spot a 34 year old from a 17 year old! The laugh was, our wee pal Leona (20), offered to buy it for us, showed her ID, then they let me pay on my card! So I can't buy it myself, but I can pay when someone else does! Get a grip Co-op! :008: :008: :008: :008:
  23. I'm really looking forward to it - Mr PB's credit card is trembling at the thought of the new outfit I'll need! :015: These types of events don't happen every week, and it's a chance to show some real support to The Legends that have contributed so much and given us the club we have today! In order to do them and the club justice, the production values are high and the price really had to be £55. Could have been alot higher if others had their way!
  24. Anyone know any good places for a posh type meal in Aviemore?
