Ticket Shambles at tonight's game
There were definitely cash gates and I used one for the North Stand. I did however see a large queue at one of the main stand turnstiles. It would make more sense if the turnstiles could share the fans out regardless of whether or not they have a ticket. I have encountered the same problem with free kids in the past, but as Don says, why can't we give the turnstile operators the vouchers to hand out. Seems very simple

Motherwell Cup ****game on****
There was catering, although not all the serveries were open (but the crowd was low, so it was sufficient) As far as I'm aware there was no Kingsmills Club tonight

Help Needed - Gritting Car Park on Monday
We have had strong winds through the night and the snow is now melting fast. I can even see some grass in my garden for the first time in a month. Hopefully this car park task will have been made a bit easier with this thaw.

Dunfermline Thrown Out Of Cup
Seems a bit harsh considering they were 4-0 up when he was introduced to the game. Agree it should be punished though, so if this is the decision I guess they will just have to accept it

Who ate all the pies?
Okay I have quickly read through this thread and there are obviously a wide range of opinions. I'll just make a couple of points. Firstly I would like to give them a short run in time to get things right. They are very experienced in what they do and I think it will prove to be a good move. The staff were drafted in from elsewhere as they haven't had a chance to recruit locally yet, but they have advertised in the local press for matchday staff, so if you think you can do better, then please apply. I was personally unhappy with the quality with the previous contractor and also their management and stock control left a bit to be desired. I hope that once these new people find their feet we will see further improvement. My own feedback is that the queue was dealt with quicker and more efficiently and that the quality was better. On the down side I am concerned about the level of the price increase. We were told there would be a slight increase, but reports suggest that these were a bit too much. Situation with macaroni pies is bound to be resolved when they realise the demand. They set Saturday up at extremely short notice, so I hope that any shortcomings will be resolved and we'll see an improved service every week

Thank you
I thought I clarified the situation with the DVD. If there is to be a DVD it will be a 10th Anniversary edition and therefore can not be available until around the 10th Anniversary which will be in February. We do hope to have a DVD available soon after the 'Still a Night to Remember' event which is on Feb 6th

Cool if you can make a 4, but please don't worry about it, there will be plenty people to make a team. It'll be good to see you

Pre match
I over booked our bus to accomodate the people joining us from the central belt. I would think you will be okay to join us in the Tulloch. I suppose it depends when you are planning getting there. You are welcome to piggy back the booking in my name.

Apology
Thank you DC - much appreciated. Remember the old saying - please ensure brain is in gear before opening your mouth (post on a forum) For anyone who is interested Steve will be on The Hour 'live at 5' on STV to promote his book.

I think that this is exactly the type of post that offers little to the conversation. Why the name change?

You know what, that is bang out of f****** order. I wont say what is in my head right now because I would have to ban myself for abusing another poster, but even with the smilie your comment is inappropriate. It was a f****** joke , lighten up mun . I edited your original post before noticing it has been quoted in further posts. If you had been at the book launch, read some of the book or even met the guy you would realise how childish and tasteless that was. Certainly not my idea of humour - I'm not going to delete it from the quotes so that your fellow posters can see if any of them are impressed by you immaturity. At least a retraction and apology would be worth considering. The guy hasn't had a drink for 14 months now - can you say the same??????? No I cant say the same but on the other hand I'm not using alcoholism to flog a book ! Ooohhh Contraversial!! More disgusting than contraversial.

Niculae Court Case
Lots of stories and differing views. Bottom line is that FIFA had all the facts (unlike us) and they ruled in Marius's favour, which I don't believe they would do lightly. If ICT have failed to abide by this ruling I think we could be in trouble. If you left a job and were due a large sum of money, would you just walk away to save your previous employer a few quid? We are talking a significant amount of money and FIFA say he is entitled to it.

:) :clapping04: :clapping04: :clapping04: I hope we receive some positive feedback to help things move forward. I do understand your frustration, so let's work together to see if we can get the craic back. Just one thing that bugs me most is the post of 2 or 3 words replying to a previous post which offers nothing what so ever to the topic. Think before you post and ask yourself is your response going to add anything to the discussion.

You sir, are a *****. Further highlighted by your later post where you actually think your comment might have contained some humour!!! (Mods, I'm more than happy to take the warning hit on this one) Abusive remark removed and warning level increased. Please refrain from using this language, and personal abuse

ST ANDREWS - Quiz Night
Could be anything and everything, only clue is that there could be a bit of a Scottish theme with it being St Andrew's. You can bring any number and we'll organise teams on the night. Obviously if you have a team of 4 we won't split that up. I'll just apologise in advance for whatever poor sod gets me in their team to make up the numbers. lol

Thanks for the information. I'm sure more people would support them if we were kept informed of their fixtures.

DVD Latest
Thanks If there is to be a DVD (and I hope that there is) it will be a 10th anniversary edition and as the 10th Anniversary isn't until February, so don't hold your breath for news just quite yet. First chance to see the whole 90 minutes of the game will be at the dinner in the Drumossie on Feb 6th. See 'Still a night to remember' thread. We are hoping to release a DVD soon after, but there are many hoops to jump through yet before we can make any promises. I've got it on VHS. Could easily convert it to a DVD. But then that's probably illegal... The VHS is highlights only. As I said it's very much work in progress, but you will know as soon as we have news
