  1. He said, Hi Laura, how are you and by the way do you think I look fat in this. :rotflmao: Only joking, just general chit chat really.
  2. I was speaking to him last night and he certainly isn't fat, but he never was and he was always good at looking after his fitness. He's just having a couple of days at County to ensure his optimum fitness for his trial at ICT next week.

Things are never so bad in Inverness that you need to go to Dingwall! But if there's no game in Inverness ?? :001:
  4. Richard Fairbass has his one pretty spot on. I didn't want to post the personal bits, but I was delighted to catch up with him. Good luck to Juanjo as his family would love to return and I think he could still do a job especially if he has rediscovered his pre injury form. :021:
  5. Life would be boring if we all had the same opinions so you are as entitled to yours as I am on mine. Quite some first post :007:
  6. def here unless a certain lady taxi driver is telling porkies... says she got a wee peck on the cheek from him. bet it wasn't as much fun as me and the boys.... :001: He's definitely here, but with a few things to do, as well as some training. We'll just have to wait and see how things develop. I think he could still do a job for us.

We are just arranging a final weigh in and press release, so we will be able to put you all out of your misery soon and let you know how much lighter your wallets will be. :001:
  8. Okay this is supposed to be an Ian Black thread, but it seems to be turning into a 'let's slag off Russel Duncan' I rate Ian Black as a player, but it's no secret he's a bit hot headed. I hope he sorts things out with Brew soon as we need him, but I suppose Brew needs to instill discipline. Russell Duncan however is a good footballer, he isn't a forward thinking flare player, but he is a very good defensive midfielder. Try to see some of is misplaced passes as defensive clearances and you'll see another side to him. I think he takes far too much unfair critisism. He has bad games like every other player, but overall he does his job well. Another player said to me one day about Russell that he's not necessarily a fan's player, but he's very much a player's player and they really appreciate is contribution.
  9. Glad you enjoyed your night Tug. It was good, with lots of well kent faces. Richard Hastings next year!!!! Hall of Fame booked for March 2009, that's a night you won't want to miss.
  10. Alex, this is in hand and part of the ongoing discussions beween the BENI, the Supporters Trust and ICT. They are willing to look at some kind of structure to support the flags. Talks ongoing to find something suitable.

Did you miss this bit Alex ? "NESSIE RETURNS AS THE CLUB'S OFFICIAL MASCOT AND BECOMES THE NAME BEHIND ICT'S BRAND NEW KIDS CLUB" I don't think ICAT has been put to sleep, but I do think he'll be spending a bit of time in the ICT home for retired mascots. :015: :015: However I do take your point, Nessies reappearance is more to coincide with the launch of the kids club which is something we have been sadly lacking. In fact I think that up until now we were the only SPL club without one. So well done to those who have been working away for weeks now to get it all ready. :021:
  12. Yes Johndo posted missing which went down well after altering the seating arrangements to accomodate him. :029: :029: A few little gems but I'll leave Johndo to find them in his tea leaves. :003: Stevico was disappoined that Johndo didn't make it as he was genuinely looking forward to meeting him. :003: There are a few photos about, but I never had my camera. Alex MacLeod was the one doing most of the flashing. :015: :015: Other nutters were Maimie and friend, Tug and friends, Mr & Mrs Big Man, Mr & Mrs Dargobayne, Alex and Aileen MacLeod, Mr & Mrs PB, Mr & Mrs Gringo Snr, Gringo Jnr and Cutecaleychick and of course the one and only Mr Charles Bannerman (or was it Johnathan Watson?) :015:

    Barry Wilson :001:
  14. Ian Black was at the game. He arrived just as I was going through the turnstile about 2.50pm and watched the game from the main stand. He wasn't part of the first team squad so he wouldn't have had to report for duty but he was there.
  15. Great night, great company and great crowd. Thoroughly enjoyed myself and I won the first raffle prize. :001:
  16. Well I suppose I am slightly nervous, but this bad run of form has to end sometime. Today could just be the day. Aberdeen just might think they are in for an easy game given our recent run of form. Things have to chance and today would be the day to do it. So let's support, support and support. Let's do our bit to get that feel good factor. Remenber what it's like when you make a come back and take 3 points from Celtic :003: Okay now off with the rose tinted spectacles and back down to earth, so a bit of nerves entwined with a little bit of optimism. Fingers crossed.
  17. If you are doing a handover at the stadium, why not speak to Peter Paul and ask him to take a picture. We could try to get it in the programme. Nice gesture Alex. See you tomorrow at some point.

I'm in lower C Roscoe. I think it's a great idea, but 5 - 10 minutes might just be pushing your luck. :015: So you are supporting rather than booing then. :017:
  19. Booing will hardly encourage a good performance. Can I suggest if you are a true fan/supporter of ICT you will support the team for the time on the park. If you are really happy make your feelings known after the game but we need to try to give the best support we can tomorrow in the hope of turning on a perormance and maybe, just maybe getting our first ever win over Aberdeen. If they come out to a load of booing, it will hardly motivate them.
  20. Innes pre match for an official presentation?

Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be a rumour. :019: We all know Blackie can spit the dummy, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him on Saturday. Let's hope we have enough in the squad to get a result against the dons.
  23. As far as I know we still have 2 seats available and IHE I know someone who is looking forward to meeting you. :001: Obviously tomorrow will be the absolute deadline for numbers so at the moment these 2 seats are empty. :009:
  24. I think it is absolutely essential that we get behind the team for the duration of the game on Saturday. We have to beat Aberdeen sometime and all bad runs come to an end so the two could come together with a little bit of luck on Saturday. I'm very often confused of my glass being half full, but there has to be some hope. Let's support the team like never before. :021:
  25. First of all I think I'll stickie this until the weekend. This Saturday - Drumossie Hotel - 7 for 7.15. A bit of an early start, but there's a lot to pack in. Just been advised of a cancellation for 2 people, so if you were thinking about going but never got around to it due to the fact it sold out so quickly, then you have a second chance. Just had an update and Mrs PB will be happy as Parkie is confirmed as attending along with Mark Brown, Bobby Mann, Stevie Lovell, David Bingham and many more players past and present. Get in touch as soon as possible if you want these tickets as they will definitely be the last 2 available. Leave your details here or send a PM alternatively see the first post on this thread for my contact details.
