Sorry, I am new here. Who is Moris?

ICT -V- Partick Th :Matchday Thread
If we can play like that in the second half, then they can play like that in the first. Do not give the opposition a 3 goal start. They were very beatable in the first half - Shinnie ran forward and had a shot, which ended a foot past the post, and got big applause. That is the spirit. There were a few others in the first half, all of which were ineffective. We were playing a lot better than Partick, then it all fell apart. It s the mark of a professional side that they can THINK and come back in the same half from a bad patch. ICt obviously cant, but did so in the second. Ross and Haynes were wonderful. I too can see why TB subbed Ross, and get the surprise factor with LDZ, which, apart from his Keatonesque first touch, nearly worked. He made a few things work. Foran took his goal well, but flatters to deceive. Sanchez is economical, but always worth a run, unlike Barrowload, who should be 6th choice. Looking forward to seeing what Eric can do here. Duncan was made to look very bad, but apart from his usual passing put in a decent shift. I thought the sweeper played in front of the defence? Bulvitis has the mobility of a slug and makes even Tokely look like a Jiving LindyHopper. Shinnie did well, and Proctor is no RB. I applaud Terry's ambition in starting 433, but I still believe thayt come Imrie, Tokes and Gollies return we will have a winning side. Starting on Sunday. Get intae them travelling people!

No players on the p!ss tonight then
Lads in their 20s are keen on getting into town, having a drink and meeting girls. The best players in the top clubs do it, and to demand or expect anything else is unfair. Their metabolism should be back to normal by training time. Problem occurs if they do it every night, especially Fridays. If Terry wanted to get them really motivated he should take them in for training on Saturday nights. No red wine, lucozade and pizzas there then. Our ICT players seem to have gone off the Lemon Tree, whose home baking was the cause of so many problems for Taxi Sheerin, and moved their attentions to the Satrbucks in Eastgate Centre. All those finely tuned athletes getting pumped up in FairTrade Vente's and gluten free skinny apple and ginger muffins. Pure evil, I tells ya.

What areas need strengthening?
The team. The catering. The car park. eh that's it.

No players on the p!ss tonight then
Saw Tokers and Golly standing outside the stadium this morning, at the car boot sale. They looked evry sheepish and they weren't even playing. I asked if they found any bargain strikers amongst the bric-a-brac. Not a smile.

Motherwell V ICT :matchnight thread
Good goals to watch, Bulvitis unlucky, but Barrowload shows that he can move when he wants to for his goal, and loved the long slow header from Granty - they all stood and looked at it. Great assist from Morais for St.Js. Bast8rd.

Oh aye County
A club official told BBC Scotland that their own stadium would be upgraded. "We could do it quickly," he said. "We could build a new stand in 11 weeks. We would be ready if we win promotion." "Eh, before you go, could you let me have a few bob for my bus fare...back to my cara....eh, house."

Ball Control
I'm with old Renny on this oone. Shocking control throughout. It must be one of the easiest things to practice, trap the ball and keep it at yer feet. Why I remember the days when Robson would pick up a Bobby Mann punt on his toe, kill it dead, without breaking stride...can we sign both of these Div 1 heroes please, again.

improving the home form
I'm not sure that that this isn't the very thing. Footballers as we know are creatures of habit clinging to myth and ritual. When you have them all in one space for that amount of time, the management are free to work with their morale and attitude. They can be compared to soldiers going into battle. I have no idea when they turn up to TCS (perhaps someone can tell us), but I suspect it is a lot shorter lead time. Familiar surroundings + the proximity of home+ interuptions = complacency and distraction. Maybe the management want to look at the prematch prep ritual. A pint or two at the Gellions, perhaps. Certainly worked for <name withheld>

Sanchez: Caley Workhorse
As far as I recall, the Sanchez is lazy stuff came from the County game and only then. No complaints before. He will be very useful for us.

Morton -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
By my early reckoning that puts us 3rd, 2 behind leaders County, (now there's two words you dont see side by side often) and Raith. Raith have been lucky so far, and we will beat them, but I have a feeling County might be the team to beat this season. Funny game etc etc 4th looking again. I goal behind QOS. *shakes fist at Wilson*

Hastings Gone & Golly Back
gordyfromsneck. I know pretty much 90% of the caley squad as friends and that included vigurs when he was there. I would like to point out that he is a very nice laid back guy and what you are saying about him is completely un called for, especially as you clearly don't know him, because if you did you would not be saying those things. You should also know that you shouldn't believe everything you read in the papers. Please if you can refrain from personal attacks. One thing you should know also, vigurs was released by ICT before this incident and to date has a clean record and still does until proven otherwise. I hear you CaleyP. I will be watching, though.

Hastings Gone & Golly Back
Gotcha about the pending cases, but surely any case of proven criminality is a public matter. I dont see any bannings for "Taxi for Sheerin" comments and so on. I understand your need to make rules, but once anything is "out" then surely it no longer qualifies as gossip - right Grassa - but becomes a matter for the public, like war, taxes and approach roads.

Anything positive to write ?

Partick -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
Rooney took a cool one, as he has doen before. Russel - I had a bad feeling about him, cos I am sure he cost us a shootout before. He hasn't got the nerve. Real nail biter. Scrappy, but I'll take it. Well done to Granty and especially Esson. Next!

Oh Dear. The pressure paid off. What a waste. "Cup tie on" indeed. Now to score with a defensive line-up. Hi Maurice!

Fair call. I thought it was a done deal.
