Good to have Golly back, I think he is capable of dong a good job for us. But may well be back to County when we get back in the SPL. Hastings departure is more of a mystery. A capable deputy for LDZ who would have kept the pressure on him. He had a flaw in his game, but was usually reliable enough. Great servant for the club and a heck of a nice chap by all acounts. He should get his game wether he is here or not. Poor show if he doesn't. Strange and sad. As for Vigurs. Vigurs departure had very little to do with football, and more to do with the fact that he is an alleged racist thug, who without doubt had a bad attitude. This will soon make itself apparent at County.

I was in the car park yesterday and it took 40 mins just to get out and then another 20 mins just to get into town. NOT THE BEST! Think some of the problems outside the stadium were being caused by the traffic warden at the away car park. He let all the cars in the away end out to the roundabout and stopped all the traffic coming along in front of the stadium. I was stuck for about 15 mins and it appeared chaos was taking place behind where we were stuck. Eventually another officer (?) came along from the main roundabout to see what was going on. Eventually everyone got moving and was waved out easily at the roundabout. Yeah, I got caught up on this too.The chap was/is a clueless buffoon. There is a science to these things, can't someone get it right?

Poor poor show by ICT. Too many new boys who didnt know what to expect, and considering County were beaten last week, I suspect they raised their game, whereas we didnt. Not a game to follow the "blooding" policy of Terry's Engerlish Youth's. All that, "Oh Yes, West Brom versus Bristol was like our derby" stuff has been hopefully knocked out of them. Welcome to Scottish Div1 where skill is secondary. County were hungrier better organised and all thegither keener for the win. BUT will they keep up that motivation for the next 3 games? I think not. The derby stuff is a sideshow, and as someone said, there are many other more important games to follow, and we were never going to be unbeaten. Lessons can be learned by Terry and others, hey it was TBs firs Heelan Derby too. Onwards and upwards.

Lionel did not have his best game, though he improved in the 2nd half. But booing him during the game is the worst piece of self-destructive nonsense I have ever seen at ICT. If he is unnerved do you think you are going to make hi play better, ffs? Get a grip and get behind players when they are on the park.

Two left ones I presume. Smart move. At least you can be assured that when you get them at the end of the season, even if as the AP man says they are both for the left foot, at least they will be cas good as new! Stratford contributed zero to the game. Only Sanchez was near him in that respect. I have seen him be crap every game this season, looks like he could do with a motivational spell in the reserves. All the other new boys seem to be improving, if inconsistently.

Get tired of this! There is a finite space, two ways out, the busiest trunk road in the Highlands mobbed on the busiest shopping day of the week and our busiest crowd of the season. Most if not 95% of clubs don't give a toss if you have somewhere to park your car or not and leave you with the entire problem. Our club do far more than most and still get slaughtered. Leave the car and walk. Get a bus. Cycle. Get a lift. Camp. Don't take your car as you will be on here moaning! Good advice, but if the club offer, and accept payment for that facility they should maintain that it is properly run. There were no, zilch, zero stewarts on the exit when my turn came to girn my way out of the ensuing chaos. And these men in yellow - Their hats say parking warden, their jackets say police, I say clueless fekkers.

Butcher is so much fun. I liked the idea of Pizza and lucozade on the way home.

He must have remembered that America has a fair smattering of Irish Republican supporters... including the late Teddy Kennedy... so maybe he's concluded they're not that bad after all. Been a lot about Teddy Kennedy recently, including the fact that he had the courage to recant his previous views on republican tactics and put pressure on the IRA to enter the peace process, as well as badmouthing Noraid. His work on social policy reform also gets the thumbs up from me. As they said, he may have in the long run done a lot more good that either of his bros, despite being less celebrated. Nice to see a yank with an imagination about what could be.

Something about "no one behind him". Same old same old. Wasn't it great to see Blackie getting a card in the last minute again. Hearts looked v poor.

Was that Orff's Carmina Burana also known as Theme from the Omen? Can we have ride of the Valkyries, from Apocalypse Now, if we are doing classics/film stuff? Put the **** right up Charlie.

This is absolutely correct. Rooney standing right beside him kept schtum. You'd think with Roscos rep, Rooney would want to spread it round. Rooney was getting a fair bit of stick - no guts, not much skills, but get the ball on his toe 5 yards out and he, for one doesn't look for the pass. It seems a lot of his goals have been taken on the volley, good to watch if nothing else. He will be a scorer for us, but may not be a fans fave, much like Ritchie. Got called for all the lazy ********, but still outscored everyone. The rest was fine, a couple of howlers from both the wing backs, but these cup games are good to keep Rosco in form. Hayes has really picked up, running hard and finding that extra yard. Great to watch. Eagles looks the part but doesn't produce as much. I missed his goal though, which I am told was top drawer. Foran was getting onto some lovely through balls, but just didnt have the luck today. He must be a nightmare to play against. Cox is the best of the new signings, and that is great. The Courier called him, "the perfect midfielder" - lets hope he stays for a while. The rest were fine. The team seems to be gelling well, and I am very happy and optimistic for the season.

Good post. Let's not forget that some folk do not work and live on benefits. Are they working class? There is more to improving yourself than earning more money. D'ye hear me Thatcher!

Yeah! We don't want any Christians supporting OUR team!

What is the point in hiding the real world from kids? You say your daughter already knows all the words so what are you protecting her from? Reality? No wonder so many people grow up with a deluded view on the world. I am in the family section and a little too far from section G, I am thinking of phoning the club tomorrow to see if any prudes have moved their seats away from the singers I'd love to have them and so would my kids. I teach my kids about language and the context in which it is used. They are growing up as well rounded individuals, both doing well at school and neither of them have brought any trouble to my door, my daughter rarely swears, if at all, my son pushes the limits as all boys do but gets put in his place by both me and his mother when he oversteps the mark. Am I a bad parent? Don't know if you are a bad parent or not, but you seem to have put some thought into your decision. I am always suspicious of people who talk about "reality" though, as it is something only they have a hold on.

IMO, what you said links into the "Adult Entertainment" Thread. What i mean is that there are too many people in the Highlands that are so...Well i dont have a word for it but i think what you said sums it up. Just because we are ICT doesnt mean we cant sing songs which swear and that. EVERY single club has them. Its the same as in the AE thread. How the people of inverness would be in an uproar about a stip club or something. We are falling behind the rest of the world. And its small things like this that make us this way! No wonder so many central belt people find it so weird up here! I wouldnt be suprised if you didnt understand any of that. No, I think I understand what you say. You maintain that the Highlands is weird because we are unlike the rest of Scotland, who have strip clubs and we should be like them, and do sweary songs at football to be like them and not fall bahind the rest of the world, who have embraced the small things.

I am a main stander (so shoot me), and anyone that knows me knows that my language can be colourful at times, sometimes gratuitously so. BUT at the match, I am very careful, and though I do cuss and swear, I will bite my tongue if there are kids about. Yes, my daughter knows all the words from the playground, but she wont hear them coming from my mouth, and I find the aggression in much swearing, makes me very protective of kids. You can see it, on their faces - it adds nothing to the pleasure of the game for them, and wil destroy their enthusiasm. I defy any parents on this forum to say they approve, and will back other folks right to free swearing in, or near, the family section. I suspect it is a wee boys thing. And also the humourless offensive songs damage your case and debase the reputation of ICT. There, I've said it.

Hi There Can anyone suggest a bit of software, cheap or free that would allow me to author my own CDs for the computer. I want to get multimedia files and put them behind a menu or system of menus, so that they will pop up on insertion of the CD and allow a clear choice of the different files on offer. They are out there, just need something quick, cheap and idiot friendly. Ta

] This is the question. I feel just like we had carried on from the end of last season. No joy, no sparkle, no relief. Please help me.

Am I justified in feeling disappointed. Yes, I think I am. I never saw anything that I didn't see in the pre-seasons. Cox was justified MOM, the defence were fine, but again, just like last season, something goes wrong between the midfield and the strikers. Most thrilling moment was when Lionel came forward skinned his man and sent a perfectly placed ball for someone to sky over the bar. Why couldn't one of our wingers do that? Both Hayes and Eagles flatter to deceive. Hayes seems to run out of ideas and Eagles alwyas goes one dribble too far. It is up to TB to get these players working for each other, and playing to the best of their ability. I think the raw materials may be there, but there is still a lot to do, before we challenge for the league. It was so strange seeing Div1 footie again - no time on the ball, amateurish rough stuff, unbalanced play - I bloody love it much more that the overpaid SPL nonsense.

Don't know the chronology but he also played with Caledonian, where he broke the record for the number of HIghland League goals in a season. A record that still stands. I have no idea of the exact number, but I am told it is astonishing. Any HL stattos?

Get tae feck ya inbred gypo Jeez, lighten up! This is a long running joke. Let them have a moment in the sun, they will have precious little to crow about this season.

Just what I was thinking YaBoy... That's why I'm highlighting this post from RowdyBey : Good post, i'd be happy to explain. I was on holiday with my friends a month or so ago, walking down the street wearing my caley top. When a boy stoped me and said he played for "that team", i asked his name and he said Kyle Allison. He then carried on 2 say he was a massive county fan, and then rubbing in that we (the club who pays his wages) had just been relegated. He then started becoming pretty violent so my friends and aye walked off. Then last weekend in town he spotted my friends and confronted them trying 2 find out my name because he wants 2 "beat me up" . I didnt start the song yesterday, it was friends that i'd told the story 2 but i will admit i joined in. Some people are taking it to seriously, he and Shane just laughed it off anyway. I don't think it should be difficult to sort this one out... I'd hate to think all this sh1tt was going to crop up every feckin week. Not sure about the truth of any of this. But disregarding the health implications, it would be serioulsy bad for KA's career progression should he "beat someone up". The case studies are legion, and Terry has been shown in his recent actions to deal with this very severely. Think on.

Is that furreal? That is up there with wrong kind of snow and leaves on the line. It is their pitch, they determine the grass length!
