  1. At their best Barry Robson Paul Sheerin Brian Thompson
  2. It sounds a bit mercenary, but for several reasons, there are many benefits in our being relegated the same season as the Stanta collapse. Ill wind etc.
  3. I personally, am sick and tired of all the bitching and moaning over the least little thing, especially when it degenerates into personal attacks on named staff members or assertions by posters that this person or that person isnt worth their wage when the poster has feck all idea about what that staff member actually does. They might not get everything right, but I dont think any of them are doing it wrong on purpose, and I dont think most of us could/would do any better. Well spoken Scotty. There are a few folk on here that are quick to offer opinions on that which they know feck-all, and I dont mean footie. Bring on some blooming football, then we will have something proper to complain about.
  4. I am a glory hunter and have only supported ICT since they got into the SPL, and now they are not in it, I will stop supporting them. btw this thread mings. Can anyone guess why?
  5. IF any football player is found guilty of a racist attack then it might be quite hard for a manager to integrate him into the multi-cultural makeup of the modern team. Therefore, he would not be a viable proposition and the manager would have done good business in letting him go. This would also make his employment in any other club quite insecure, no matter his talent or potantial. Also one of the posters on that teams website might have heard it alleged sometime ago that the player was a bad lot from a bad family in Kirkcaldy.
  6. I'm no expert but are there not safety/legal issues about carrying a petrol can, even a plastic one on the back of a bike?
  7. Yeah, I read about that in the papers. :004:
  8. Wedding or a funeral?
  9. Didn't write, didn't phone! They just don't care.<sob> Get real! There are people with work to do over there, they cant tell us everytime someone goes to the bog! We have had news on Coxy's signing, the BOD changes, friendly fixtures, and the league dates. Surely that is enough to keep us going!
  10. Maybe if they put on a decent show it will bring them back to the table of civilised nations. Alternately, maybe if they get a dodgy penalty against them, they will unleash a nuclear terror!
  11. Also interesting the disparity between newspapers and websites. Print really is dead.
  12. "Love" in Inverness?...because all the girls are gorgeous! Unlike Leicester which, as everyone knows is the cutting edge of all that is culturally significant and happening. I love that, I love being seen as hicksville.
  13. That is telling. I heard also that he was a useless and disliked loudmouth. I'll be watching Chesters' career with interest, if and when.
  14. As a player? or a eating coach? hahaha I thought Bobby Mann had that SFA badge.
  15. Its a lot better than Aviemore. Beautiful scenery, good roads that get cleared in the winter, friendly people, even found a bar done out in tartan, and in the winter brilliant snow and night life and was really cheap when I was there. The local food is a mixture of French and Spanish(Catalan). Snails and Quails night was excellent. I didnt mean to be demeaning. We had a great few days walking, but the city did nothing for me, except it was the only place I've ever been where they actually talk to you in two languages. French and Spanish, one after the other, then move onto English when they find out your native tongue.
  16. You'll need to enlighten us Gordy. I think only you, Mantis and Jock will remember that far back! Doomsday 2000 is correct. They didnt have computers in 200 ad. When they thought the world would stop because the chips had the wrong date fields in them fizz fizz wimper
  17. I have just returned from a soujourn in Ghana, and can testify that a) They are football daft. Chelsea is current fave for the Essien connection, but I think they change according to who has the highest profile Ghanaian player. B) Other than tribal languages, English is the national language of Ghana. c) There is not one of them, who would not change the relaxed life, plentiful food, cheap beer, beautiful women and warm climate of Ghana to come to live and work in Inverness. d) There are gangsters everywhere, but Ghana is no Nigerian/Somali There are bounce games everywhere and a competitive league across the country, which, though riddled with curruptions till offers some good football. I met a chap who told me he was a Hearts fan, becaouse of the Kingston connection, and also told me that Motherwell and Dundee Utd also had Ghanaian players. News to me. Also met an ICT fan, who saw us on Setanta, and always followed our results on the net. Are you there? I would be delighted to scout, on my next trip.
  18. Good to see we have signed someone new. I just hope that he is worth it and that we aren't soon shouting for him to be put up for transfer ..."Get Cox out!"
  19. Like the year 200 doomsday scenario, nothing will happen. However, if it means the govt take extra precautions and save the lives of a lot of old and vulnerable folk, well and good.
  20. Andorra is not so much a pub as a shopping mall, surrounded by mountains.
  21. Worrying.... Not really considering we will be depending on Setanta for none of our income for at least the next year. I would think that this is the best way of looking at it. We were doing our sums without the help of Setanta, now other clubs are as well. Except they are in a league above us. Selfishly, the "lucky escape" story is the right one here.
  22. No, but since I posted the original I've also become aware of another very large currency unit... the HPE (Heathmount Pint Equivalent). Since the Heathmount installed its Peroni tap, the HPE more or less seems to have drifted towards parity with the Kaka. Over on the other side of the river the standard currency is the CCVL (Caley Club Vodka Lake). 1 HPE = 25 CCVL. School lunch today by the way (without any HPs or CCVs of course) cost me 0.05 microKakas (uKk) How does that figure against the old Romanian currency, the Marius (LFB)?
  23. Is Mahadjuks a Catholic? Is Morais? Just wondering, like.
  24. Remember your jabs for next season!
  25. I am hoping that a management team with a history as varied and spread-out as TerrynJune will look a little further than Scoatland for replacements. County have a history of taking our rejects, but it may be that our taking their rising stars will no longer be first choice. Kinda worrying though, with County and Stags, doing a supermarket dash.
