  1. You da guy!
  2. Absolutely the best fun I have had a TCS for a couple of seasons, fun fun fun. I am not going to single anyone out, but Golly was brilliant and demands, nay demands the captains arm band. Sanchez was a hungry harrier in midfield, the best game I have seen Counsellor Fo_ran play, what a versatile player he is. Esson was unworried. Rooney, lived up to the well-publicised faith that I have had in him, strength to strength. He will be going for ?1m at the end of the season. (whatever) Duncan should have got two goals, but must learn not to lean back when shooting. Imrie ran and ran and ran and tat wa good enough, and pleased that Hayes got a turn as he too, will have big part to play. I ws very impressed with Bully, not because of his flukey goal, but from his probing and yes, circular run upfield, are you listening McBain? Granty was ***** and will be gone at the end of the season, ah ennui, and that's about it. In honour of Helloween blude red wine has been taken, but I am very happy and moderately optimistic.
  3. Is he a P.E. teacher? I believe he runs spinning classes as a sideline. Carry on your hard work Darren, you can do it. Well done.
  4. hehe class player. Does he have any badges? Seems like a thoughtful chap might make a good manager. Long time to go.
  5. Gerrard? Isn't he the thug caught on television? Is he the wife beater, the rapist or the nose breaker, Allegedly. Then I wish him nothing but ill will.
  6. haha I actually know a B&S band member and he happens to be a huge football fan (no comment on his allegiances...) but hey, he's nouveau west end anyway... Nouveau west end!!! *waggles fingers under the chin* I think it is those whom Stan was referring. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HTBwvwVNT4 Great footbal related reference.
  7. My understaning, from my brief experience I have had with Mr. Smith is that he is general manager. He manages the various functions of the club and gets them running as a whole. (So, it's his fault etc etc) Think of him as a the manager of a business, a business manager if you will. I have found him to be accomodating, knowledgable and interested, though I understand that some folk have had issues with the way he sees efficient running of the club. Nonetheless, I suspect the club got great value out of him; working to a tight budget as he always has been; I mean, we are not Rangers, are we...on second thoughts..... If he has walked out then, no problem, he can be replaced. However, I doubt the club can manage itself, and that Charlie, if he is called on to do so, will find the load quite onerous, on top of his other duties; drawing numbers out of a hat and posing for photos.
  8. So what school does he go to? In other words..."Is he a protetstant Muslim or a catholic Muslim?"
  9. Charlie Bannerman is correct. A lot of gnashing of gums, but no hard cash when it mattered, by the community for the community. A few years back I was doing research on Inverness during the First World War, looking at the Courier, and what was on the front page? "Clach in Financial Crisis". That is 95 years ago.
  10. Yeah, 21...it is all downhill from there.
  11. While it is nice to talk about him, my memories of Eric grow hazier by the week. I think I saw him running at defences for two minutes once about April 09, but can't be sure. A striker, wasn't he?
  12. Yeah, I noticed that Golly was looking for a passing opportunity, and searching for Hayes, only to find him behind him! Golly was frequently flummoxed as to who to pass to, which must be a shocker for the old chap considering the amount of qualiy strikers/off the ball runners we had before. No-one moves! Get the armband of Grant and give it to Golly. Grant plays well enough *ducks* but as someone says, seems to be stretched covering for Bully and is not a natural leader. Golly is what we have been looking for since Hastings and Lionel fell away. McBain, another old schooler, with his cross field runs foxed the Pars when he came on. Great to have as a supersub, or even first choice. Proctor too, seems to have won some approval for playing further forward, however Roscos soft booking suggests that a shaky spell at RB may not be too far off again.
  13. This is correct. Foran and Ronney might just work, though, with F playing behind and knocking it over/down to Adam, whose best finishing comes on the (half) volley from the edge of the box, not right in. Barrowman has had all the chances he is going to get.
  14. The chap is entitled to what he is entitled to. To protest any further just shows us up as being the rank amteurs who can't phone a lawyer to check a contract. No money to spend at January.
  15. I had a moment of insight today which I will share with you. This is it. Ths is our season. There is no better, no worse, just this dull grinding mediocrity - some wins, some loses. But no change, there is no "form" to find. Welcome to Div 1, we all swim down here. Rooney's clear cut chance was anything but. Given time he will find the net. Foran is a grafter, but not a flair player, he should be further back. Startford is not good for much. Golly and later McBain add a touch of experience to this side, which really is the main prooblem. Heads down when under the cosh. It is not Terry n June, it is the players, who all want to do well, but can't...yet. Yes, I will take the 1-1. I am old now, I know the value of compromise.
  16. At the stadium soon. An old tradition started by Bobby Mann.
  17. Nothing for rumour Harry. I've seen Darren at other games. He often goes to watch local matches. As for the game I cant add anything that hasn't been said already. Great three points. I do, however, wonder if Rooney needs some attention from IHE. It seems to me that when he's in on goal some psychological barrier comes up and he bottles it. Whats ur problem with Rooney ? Only for him last night we would not have got the goal. The only problem Rooney has is not getting enough time on the pitch. Given enough time of the pitch Rooney will be our top scorer. He needs to tweak his game though. Good interview with Terry. The interviewer knows what is going on and asked good questions, which to his credit TB took head on. He doesn't sound as lost as Brewster, but then again his record is much better than Brews. But he is right in highlighting the need for good home performances to get the fans on track, away ones are an extra.
  18. You have just gone away up in my estimation. It takes a BIG guy to put that in print! Agreed.
  19. Great report. Very inspiring.
  20. TerrynJune will be here to the end of the season, as we can't afford to sack them. We will finish mid-table, bottomish mid-table. There will be a little transfer activity, but nothing to right home about. We will fluke the Alba Cup and a half decent SC Cup run. Derek Adams will be the next manager with CC as his assistant. Money will be found. The whole straight back-up thing was a season ticket marketing ploy, and I fell for it. Thankfully. We gotta take the rough with the smooth, that is what being a long-term fan is about.
  21. I wasn't a direct target, but I suppose, I was by association as I left when the 3rd went in. It all became tediously predictable. I found Terry's arm waving highly amusing, but... This IS a problem. How is TerrynJune going to feel comingout at the Dunfermline match? How will the pointed supporters feel? Has the damage done been permanent? Has the management lost the crowd, and I dont mean the halfdozen critics on here? My guess is that this is a critical stage in TBs career; last Saturday will be marked. Never mind tonights Raith game, Saturday's match is a mustwin!
  22. :P
  23. LOL!! you still beleve the hipe dude. we are going no where and who are you to tell supporters not to love and be passionat about our Club? Pink and Fluffy tastic. As a "Fanoffootball" go watch another less followed side with less vocal support, it was after all the mainstand this weekend that pushed butcher over the edge, not the young lads singing and getting behind the team even when it was all over, you know the ones i mean... the ones that watched 90 mins of football and didnt walk out early.... Supporters who love to be passionate about the club have a funny way of showing it then if all they can do is rant & gern from the 1 1 score onwards , like someone said, fair enough to moan afterwards but not when theres still a chance to put things right & encourage the team ! This is the correct way to proceed.
  24. But what should we do if we are "True supporter" sweetie rustling muppets? Or loud whingy moaner gerny teenagers? We must kno! And how would the team do?
