ABE now for sure. What is with the English obsession that Scottish people should support them. There is enough people in England they don't need our support. Rivalry is a major part of football, will Tottenham fans be supporting arsenal today as they are a London team? There is a particular fetish they have about Scottish people supporting their country and mock outrage when they say they don't care. Although it seems it's not just restricted to Scotland. If you watch the breakfast tv programmes especially the arrogance that everyone should care about the England football team is quite funny. Last time they would ask any American actor interviewed if they would be supporting England, when their own team was in the competition and in England's group. Shakira was also interview and got the same question! Why do they think that a Colombia married to one of the Spanish players would be supporting England. I wonder if Austrian's get asked every year if they will be supporting Germany.

It makes no difference whatsoever if Dundee United pip Motherwell for 3rd. We would still have to catch Motherwell for 4th which is pretty much the same position we are in now trying to catch them for 3rd. Same number of points to make up. It's too much of a gap and one win against county is not going to suddenly make us unstoppable. We will never win every game post split.

Not sure where your getting that. Cup runners up only qualify if the winners have qualified for the champions league. Aberdeen will be in Europe already and rangers are barred from playing in Europe so a final between them moves the cup place to 4th. As does an Aberdeen win over Dundee United. If we do over take Dundee United to 4th then only a Dundee United or St Johnstone cup win would see them take the European place instead of 4th place. Scotland has 3 Europa league places to be taken up. What would scupper it would be St Johnstone win at the weekend as I very much doubt we will catch 3rd place. Relying on an Aberdeen win really
