  1. Some of the remarks here have set me thinking. Maybe the unpopularity of Mr Brewster's move back was very unsettling, and possibly unnerving, for him as well as some ICT fans. This may have made him more tense than otherwise and in point of fact has made it so difficult for him to overcome that he has never really relaxed enough to be able to function well as a full blooded Manager, as opposed to his being a player, that he has just had too high a mountain to climb. Time will tell if he has the ability to overcome all of this, inspire the players to produce all that they are capable of, and be successful over a longer term.
  2. Well the least 6that i can say is that is NOt a pice of duff gen Or is that now such an archaic expression that only those and such as those -- e.g. Jock Watt, CMIB and Charlse Bannerman because he knows a lot of things at an early age.... LOL
  3. I agree completely with Caley D's summing up of Richie Hart. A grafter and a half!
  4. So Caley D---what manager would you like to see in place who could arrange things to suit your view of things if Brewster was released? I am genuinely interested--this is not a trick question. Tricky perhaps , but not intended to faze you.
  5. What, no pictures on the walls Feb 8? :thumb04: You have to understand that spooks are normal so when your upcoming middle-of-the-night haunting takes place there is no need to become traumatised. Just relaaaaax and enjoy the visions. And if you want any explanations etc just call Uncle Scarlet.
  6. Does anyone know if this game will be broadcast to Overseas listeners?
  7. So some of you would like Steve Paterson to come back--abandon defence in favour of playing pacy, racy beautiful football....de'il tak the hindmost like." Sounds attractive to me? But....ohhhh...if that resulted in better entertainment and a more satisfied crowd at the end of the game, win or lose, what would the feeling be if that also resulted in ICT being relegated? Scotty The mini-Pimples in our house are asking for a poll on the subject: Question "Do you want abandoned footy or dull, defensiver footy". Post now and seal the deal. After the poll Brw is aff the hook...like.
  8. I am dull and old so how do I access this miracle?
  9. Do you know thevillage of Blacktoft on the river Ouse. East of Hull. My Aunt and Uncle used to live there. Nice enough wee pub on the jetty there.Do you know of it?
  10. Whether Hibs confidence flagged or not the thing I am most happy about is that it gave ICT a boost in confidence and self-belief.I was a bit concerned at the end when they scored though. Nervous like . Smile. That can, and will, be carried over to the next match I hope. And every journey (upwards) starts with one step. C'mon Caley Thistle.
  11. Then the club should consider hiring a float plane--(are there any left in the highlands these days)-to land in Skye and then straight on to the waters right outside the stadium,. I have had a float plane journey once with some other hikers-we flew over a moun tain top and then landed on a mountain lake. Had a ball in a hut overnight and hiked down to the water in the morning. Anyway, if the club even showed willing to offer a reasonable fare in conjunction with the float plane (formerly known as sea-planes ) Sea Otters mostly, plus a bus into town and back they could even maybe develop a jetty outside the club door. What a P.R. coup that would be. Then think, they could develop an exchange programme to Norway for visiting fans -- Great P/R. for all concerned and helps the finances of the town from the incoming tourist dollars. Oh Sorry --that's jusy so stupid a thought I suppose. Too enterprising by far , Hmmmmmmmmmm!!!!
  12. Very interesting interview I saw with Brown's Manager. The Latter waxes lyrical about the effort Brown has put in to prepare himself for his big chance. Describes Brown as the consummate professional and says he has never seen a more determined hard-working effort from a player waiting to get his chance. Now Boruc is on the surgery list Brown mat very well have an extended run in the berth. Very best of luck to him I say.
  13. How does one NOT resign after offering to do so.? Either you resign and leave or what? Is there some other option like " I offer to resign but I am not serious.I don't want to beg you not to accept it but I am willing to stay if you want me and I am only offering this so that you can confirm the solidity of my position as Manager. This will get you off the hook and make me feel really good and i WILL CONTINUE TO BE IN THE DRIVING SEAT. LIKE"
  14. And that is your duff gen . --- this post is for old National Service gits who might know what I am talking about.
  15. Dead Ball Specialist--I agree with you about Inverness City--on the way up What's the matter with me today, I'm very agree-able. But the truth is that there will always be the memory of Caledonian F.C. to tide me over a blue day--IF it EVER were to happen AND IT WILL NOT!
  16. I did meet him and said hullo Mr Brewster and as he shook my hand he replied....."Call me Craig". Can't say I have anything against the man--he is deadly serious about ICT's success. What I would dearly love to hear, however, is what the constant naysayers about "Craig" will have to say if ICT moves close to the top of the table. Will it be music to our ears?
  17. Oh IHE I needed that. We are friends anew then? Why not change your signature to the S. P? Cause I love you...
  18. It takes all kinds---- and they normally come out of the woodwork. For once, however, I am not joking..... Sorry guys, it's not your time yet.... Now pay attention to the eyes--they are truly where you need to go. Just try it, you will not sleep tonight if you see what I see. Dare I tell you that some three years ago my grown-up son saw someone cross the floor between two rooms as he looked down the corridor. He rushed over thinking that there was an intruder in he house but could find nobody in the house. Or tha :thumb04: t Tulloch Castle Hotel has a ghost. Do you want me to quit whilst you are ahead .....? :018:
  19. Anyway, TMFTJ is trying to convey that positivity trumps negativity as I see it in a situation where the Manager is unlikely to be sacked in the short term. He is saying that meantime we should stop looking for reasons to cut him to ribbons at every opportunity ---especially going back to the distant past when he is supposed to have been disloyal because he wanted to move to another club. We all know the circumstances but he did try to ensure that ICT got a decent price for him and that has to be taken into account when the scales are weighed out.And he does have the right to better himself if he wants to even if the going was not perfect. Also how far back do you want to go to find negativity and hold tenaciously to grudges about the past ?. Can't we live in the present and not the past? If we go back a hundred years what good can it do ? And does it hold any relevance to the present situation--it should not? He should be judged on what he is doing now not the past. So some of the posters on here bear a grudge against Brewster and cannot appear to bring themselves to see anything good in the man probably for ever as far as can be seen .But he is here and if you want the club to prosper as you say you do why not try to stop the bickering, the name calling the moaning and making some other posters just fed-up with listening to it all , on and on and on----and on. So in this I support Manfer and want a change of heart and attitude please.
  20. Feb 8. If you look at a picture on your wall you may see many faces. I once counted 30 odd faces of people and animals from a painting on my bedroom wall. The more I looked the more they kept comig and swimming into view. It was fascinating. Ladies with crinoline headresses from a past century, bizarre animals, fish, dwarfs, and so on. Once I discerned them some were so striking and clear that I wondered how I missed them at first. Up close it is hard to see them but draw back ten feet and wow! This photo shows many faces . I see many on both the right and left white walls. The secret to finding a face is to look for eyes--at first you may see one black spot or two close together. As you look at the eyes the outline of the faces and /or bodies swims into view . For example look on the right wall : Do you see the rectangular white patch about 2/3 of the way down? Then look at the right edge and you can clearly see a bearded male face with a moustache and heavy eyebrows? Just below this patch you may be able to see an Eastern (Muslim) face with a burnoose/hood type headgear whose body continues down to two obvious feet on the ground below the figure. Also, on the smaller rectangular wall on the right side of the picture facing inwards there is a figure which might appear to be in the mold of Jeanne D'Arc--the left arm is stretched out and may hold a sword and the stance looks like he or she may be sitting astride a horse in a regal posture. On the middle left wall facing inwards at the very bottom there is a small statue of a dwarf standing up dressed in a mediaeval tabard, with a moustache and a crown on his head. Then search the left wall...do you see at the bottom a dark hole at the junction of the large flat piece and the smaller narrower piece.? There is a fox's face in there, clear as crystal. Also, 2/3 of the way up on the extreme left wall can you see two male faces one above the other --the top one is almost that of a neanderthal man and the one below has a large nose--to see the lower one tilt your head slightly to the right. Another secret is to pull your head back from the picture so that the focus is different. Don't try to will the face into view-- just relax and concentrate on the eyes. On the right side of the picture look at the small wall facing you ; at the very bottom if you tilt the head to the right you can see a white puppy with floppy ears and, just slightly to the right of that head, there is possibly a small cat's face. O.K. that's probably enough for the time being. How do I do this.? Been doing this for years. Mostly it happens when I am relaxed like idly lying in bed and looking at the pictures on the wall.I have friends in the spirit world who seem to like to show me things and if you are psychic that helps. The psychic energy may be triggered looking at an object and the undeveloped energy in another person may not allow them to see what I see. On the other hand the images may be there all the time but for one reason or another the observer does not know what to look for or even that they may be able to see anything, so they expect nothing. As for your observations Feb8, I have not seen what you say you do, except that the dark door at thr rear seems to have a head and two hands dimly showing. Where is the noose round his neck? Are the spirit children male or female? Are you really sure that you see anything? Am I right? Better be careful what you wish for they might visit you in the middle of the night and they won't be friendly WOOHHOOOOO! Hae a good day---or night :thumb04:
  21. Hibs ..0 ICT 2 Caley counter attacking brilliantly. Scored by a very composed Black
  22. sounds like Caley are up for it. Better soirit and determination all round aCCORDING TO jOHN rOBERTSON. Robbo enjoying the game........''good tempo to it"
  23. Iain It's not always a case of greed which motivates a player to move to a larger club. Just plain ambition really . The money offered usually offsets the risk he takes that he may fail.. In other words, who wouldn't turn down a top class offer from a big reputable firm? I think it is also your duty to take the chance of improving yourself when the situation arises. Especially if you think you need the challenge to grow and feel that you can do a good job. Good for him I say.The reason I came to Canada was that I had a hard time convincing my much older boss that I was as good if not better than him.....and I haven't r4eghretted it. Ha! S.P.
