  1. You can be missed FW-- I have to admit your impish, knowing sense of humour turns my crank. And a crank is what I used to use to start my car way back when. And when it did not do the job, ...why ...I got crankie. But I don't support Kilmarnock so ...no..I don't come from Killiecrankie. So just keep cranking out the subtlety and hope that there is someone here who really appreciates it. But be careful--you are a married woman no less.. humour can be so distracting and attractive you see. I mean, a laugh a day keeps the doctor at bay.... Oh My, oh my ... :002: :003:
  2. FW--you arra one ....but I like you! :004:
  3. A refreshing post from Buckett. A word of praise and encouragement goes a long way. :clapping04:
  4. No! No!, IHE ..what you mean is that he should make a spectacle of patting their cups ----------and thus instill some REAL ENERGIEeeeeeeeeee into them? :015: And let us all not forget on this our morn of May that CC is not on the park and it IS the responsibility of the players once the game starts to produce maximum effort etc :012:
  5. Miss Midge--you are only fifteen aren't you? And your profile doesn't help since you have hidden your age..so........um...... is it 51 then? So we have to make allowances but your attempt at a wind up is valiant and bold but bad. You are truly a very naughty , bored, young person so off you go now, up the wooden bumpers, for a wee kip. And be nice to Charles (NOT CHARLIE) BANNERMAN--he is often the only link we have to sanity on this site.Just sneak up too him and bask in his aura and you will pick-up a few things that will help you along the hard and stony road that lies ahead of you. Gosh, Gollie!--it's MISS Mollie :016:
  6. I would have to say that we should be doing that for all our games. Depends what you want, sexy cups or bread and butter survival. And I would have to re-iterate that I think it should definitely be "play for your places lads"; especially in front of F.W ("Oh My!") :016:
  7. Are you going to tell us about the projected plans then? :011:
  8. Oh, so the modern game does not allow for the existence of two wingers who have pace and who can streak for the byline to make the hard cross across the goal --that only needs a tap in.? Now that is a strange way to play football when a team has no wingers. No goals , no excitement , no fans---oh well it is modern though ..... :007:
  9. Listening on the radio today I was happy that Scott Davie was the commentator. His animated and rather erudite comments kept me awake...... Needs a change of plugs and wires at ICT--a new spark in the cylinders. Play for your places lads is what we need here. What's wrong with giving Morgan a full game--he always did very well in the past as I recall? :sleep01:
  10. Once again Black seems to be at least as interested in getting booked as well as spending his energy in more productive ways. Shame, that--maybe he just needs a bit of time to develop more self control and assurance. Dunno, I was not at the game but it seems as if every match now he is likely to be booked. What do you fans who were at the match think of Rankin--is he too young for the first team and a bit overawed at this stage? For sure if he is young in body his only way of establishing his presence is to work very hard and be more assertive. Scott Davie says he was almost unseen in midfield today--i :007:s that true?
  11. Did you not see Mac swegan a glass of water up the tunnel mun? :001: :002:
  12. Big crowd or not this is a big game. A win will set us up nicely for the season and put Craig's gas at a peep. C.mon the ICT. :002:
  13. And if the Senior Management of ICT want to be financially prudent this season then who are we to question that? Unless we are prepared to put money into the club ourselvers, of course.....hmmmm. Frankly, the best way to answer a post such as this is to ignore it. :008:
  14. Apparently he wants to get into the Chelsea team--he had heard that Abramovich had taken over Petro-rus and he figured that Abramovic would think that his name meant Petro vergoodski..... :004: :004: :002:
  15. The word is that he took the wrong road and ended up in Gretna.picked up a paper and immediately turned South............................... :002:
  16. Harry got it spot on and Johnboy backs him up --that's where it should be. Imagine, CC has just got his feet under the table and just because ICT have not won all their games to te some posters are calling for his head. I liked the thought that"how does a Manager get the experience if...?"--that's exactly what I was thinking too. C'mon, for goodness sake give the man a fair chance. :012:
  17. :015: :015: :015: :clapping04:
  18. O.K. the first post was out hang-gliding but swooped in before the last post took root. Sigh1 Life gets tejious don' it? :003:
  19. Looks like we may be on a time constriction in the posting department? Tried to "post" a reply and it all disappeared.? What's up lads? :010:
  20. Late starts are by no means unusual. The customary explanation from Martin at the BBC, who I think is the same lad who produces Jim Taylor's show, is that they have to check out all the broadcasts before kick off to ensure they are all working..... I mean, like it's the first time they have broadcast the matches....... E.G. Hey Jimmie are you there at Fir the Hill ? Jimmie..."Aye" Martin "Hey Jimmie can you hear me"? Jimmie "aye". Martin "O.K. You are O.K. then" How's the missus then Jimmie? Jimmie.."Fine" How's your bairn Tam after his op?" Martin "Fine, Like he still has to go back on Tuesday to see the Specialist about a boil on his knee ; came up after a bee stung him in the loo" Jimmie.." Aye , that can happen. Not good, eh?" Martin " Yer richt, Jimmie, but thanks fer askin.Well, anyway, I'm off tae Aberdeen to check them out . Right then, see you... Jimmie "Aye , Martin, guid tae hear from you again. See you at the BEEB dance on Friday night..are youse going wi the missus?" Martin..."Aye. See you then. Guid craic.Don't forget to wear yer kilt , my man, you look a real stotter in the kilt I hiv tae say that" Jimmie.." Thanks fer that .Take care...." :015: In fact they must have had a few emails about various issues because they have put a link on the BBC Sportsound site to a FAQ site begging listeners to check out the answers before sending in emails.
  21. My stepson, 20, would say..."are you people for real did you not have a laptop when you were small."? I say...poor young sod, he disnae ken whit he is missing, the fresh air, the excitement, the squabbles and the general interest of a youth well spent..... :clapping04:
  22. EH? :002:
  23. EH? Is it the man with the tush, Mr Bush? :004:
  24. Oh IHE, "Upya"---you are awful, but I like you :015: :015: You would not , by any chance , be referring to the one and only Canon from Dungannon would you? Still a fan, eh, even if he has tempoprarily (?)dropped out of site--- oops, orry, sight? Perhaps the beaks have banned him again ---shame, shame, --all characters must be welcomed otherwise we will die of ennui. Anyway hope you get your dying wish, Gerrit, to see ICT in action at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium. Lad, you are a true fan of immense proportions and I envy you since Ireland is only a hop , skip and a jump from Inverness compared to Vancouver, Canada which takes at least 13 hours flying time to Glasgow by ZOOM airlines these days. Sigh----one day..... :016:
  25. Nothing wrong with the idea. I wanted ICT to come to Canada for purely selfish reasons since they would almost certainly come to Vancouver, home of the Whitecaps (a reference to the breakers on the Pacific coast here) who long ago won the then North American soccer league ,and the cup before a crowd of some 30,000 in New York as I recall. As for the money the US is probably a better bet--much larger population and a growing interest in "soccah" spurred on by the recent World Cup. Knowing the yankee personality it won't be long before they want to get more of the action and they are more favoured to spend money than the somewhat more canny Canadians. Amnericans pour money into sport, baseball, National Football (not soccer) League and the National Hockey League to a lesser degree perhaps. But the tremendous interest and the stunning worldwide coverage of the World cup cannot have gone un-noticed by the U.S whose citizens are not afraid to spend money to make money... Anyway love to see you guys.... :clapping04:
