  1. Apparently the crazy owners at Blackburn were also demanding a 4th placed finish to get them Champions League football. Not likely to happen when your team has the likes of Jason Roberts and Keith Andrews.
  2. Dear Adam, Please don't leave me. RiG X

I seriously hope you aren't still paying for Setanta!
  4. New contracts for Hayes and Rooney now methinks!
  5. Hmm, I don't know. I think... ...this one caused perhaps even more delirium! Both great shouts though and fantastic strikes in different ways. I certainly remember going a bit bananas when these goals were scored! Great shout there Bridge Ender. If I mind right he rampaged up the left side of the pitch and cutinside onto his right foot and sent a curling effort into the keepers top left. Fantastic stuff. Didn't David Bagan score a cheeky lob against Ayr one time? Pretty sure it was the 7 - 3 game. I don't think I saw that one mentioned?

What was our attendance v Celtic on the opening day of the season? You could argue that the timing was bad what with the run up to Christmas etc. and money being tighter for most than ever. Personally I think part of the reason is that Rangers and Celtic don't offer the same "pull" as they used to.
  7. I'd quite like Ian Wood to take over as Aberdeen Chairman then he could move his ridiculous Civic Square project to Pittodrie and build it there.
  8. Aberdeen's squad is rubbish. There are certainly some decent players there but looking at it in terms of a squad it's about as poor as it has been in recent years.
  9. I*'m not really sure how much better the financial situation is at Aberdeen compared to Motherwell. It's not like McGhee had much to work with there and I can't see that changing for Brown. Aberdeen, in getting in Calderwood, firing him and then getting McGhee have spent upwards of ?1.2 million in compensation. I wonder where the team would be if that had been invested in the squad.
  10. This is absolutely hilarious. It wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't even last 5 and 1/2 months in the job.
  11. Who needs RRS feeds when you have Johnboy
  12. A brilliant decision by Ashley to replace Hughton with Pardew if this is true. This is of course the same Pardew who thought Hayden Mullins was a better midfielder than Javier Mascherano!

A decision made by who - the SPL or the club?
  14. Bizarre decision but Ashley is a bit of a fool to be honest. What about a Darren Peacock / Shaka Hislop management dream team?

They're on their worst run of form in about 15 years!
  16. Does Ralph Milne still think Brewster is the right man for ICT?
  17. This article makes for good reading: http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/2036780 Almost as good as when Foran said he had no interest in Aberdeen as he saw them as a step down from ICT!

Ah yes Mark Wright that well known ICT fan who regularly pops up to Scotland to take in Inverness games...
  21. That would be the best Christmas present ever!

Send the bill for the USH heating to the SPL. After all it was them who insisted we tear up our pitch and install it to avoid scenarios like this!
  23. Apparently a mere 230 made the trip but fair play to them. I'm a little surprised at this blanket call off as well. From a selfish point of view I've just spent ?30 on train tickets that I don't believe are refundable! The conditions on the A90 beggar belief to be honest. I can fully appreciate the fans safety issue but as Caley D says this doesn't seem to have been an issue last weekend for whatever reason.
  24. Stephen Robb. Last at St. Mirren I think but not 100% sure of that.
