Alan Freeland did nothing to significantly affect the game today. He is still a rubbish official however. A players father challenged him to a fight on the train back to Aberdeen tonight.

I thought we were fantastic today. With performances like this we can easily challenge for a "Top 6" spot.

The BBC highlights aren't much better Johnboy. They showed the ICT goal and that was it from out point of view. Oh and Imries chance in the first half. I was hoping to see this effort by Duncan.

I seem to remember a story a while back (we could be talking a year or two) that ICT wanted to overhaul the scouting system and significantly broaden our scouting network. Not sure what became of that.

Murdo MacLeod is an idiot. When Celtic were being handed a new arse by Baracelona the other night the guys in the studio were talking about how Barca were by far the better team until MacLeod came in with "Yes but Celtic are ahead so they must be better."

I think he'll get a 3 game ban for a straight red? That should be enough. Sadly Eduardo was just too quick for him and this was the worst thing that could have happened. Talk of banning him is idiotic. While he has retracted his statement Wenger seems to have forgotten some of the tackles being handed out to Man United players last week.

Doubt we could afford Offiong to be honest. I wonder if a couple of loan signings might be looked at. A Celtic or Rangers youth/reserve perhaps? I thought Jim O'Brien looked an intriguing prospect in the game against Dundee United recently. Someone like Fetai might not be so good however!

I mind a season or two ago an ICT v Aberdeen game (might have been the Monday night one) that a fair few people on here thought was rubbish but I thought was one of the more interesting games between the two sides. People see things differently. I'm not bothered if people think Niculae was MotM. I didn't and that's the way things go really.

Niculae, and pretty much the entire team were anonymous in the first half with only Bayne doing much of note and perhaps Imrie. All Niculae did was give away the ball for the 2nd goal (not Bayne as they said on the radio post match) and he got a bollocking from Munro about it*. In the 2nd half we improved but there is no way that Niculae improved to the extent of warranting MotM. He had one nice turn by the corner flag but that was it. The rest of the 2nd half was spent moaning at/getting moaned at by Blackie which was funny to watch or colliding with his own players. He didn't really fashion any chances and lost the ball far too often. To be honest I am very surprised that folk are even thinking about him for MotM when the two best candidates were easily Blackie and Bayne. Niculae could learn a thing or two from Bayne about not giving up on the ball and putting in a decent shift. Blackie also played well in midfield and sent in some very good crosses in the 2nd half. Rankin seems to have integrated very well into the Hibs team but he did seem willing to help us out by scoring an o.g.! Was nice to see him get hearty congratulations from a lot of the ICT players who clearly showed there is no ill feeling towards him since he moved. *Just watched the highlights and it was indeed Bayne that lost out in the tussle for the ball that led to Hibs second. Correct decision to send him off. An extra few games ban afterwards perhaps as well. Wenger should also be disciplined for his comments after the game regarding banning Taylor for life. EDIT: As I posted that Wenger has just retracted his comments!
