  1. Niculae MotM? Not a chance. Aside from a nice wee spin in the 2nd half he was wasteful in shooting, distribution was poor and he collided with team mates at various stages of the game. No way a candidate for MotM. Indeed I wouldn't say any ICT players covered themselves in glory aside from perhaps Black who looked like one of the few players, along with Cowie, of taking the ball down and passing it. We miss Rankin a lot. Disappointing to see him booed by some of our fans when he took a corner. Our long ball game was all to evident and Bayne battled hard against Jones and won some of the never ending aerial balls up to the forwards but also lost out on a fair share. We were so predictable today it was hard to watch. Some of the passing from midfield was actually hurting to watch. The game was over after 5 minutes. Nish does what he does best - scores against us. Hibs 2nd goal was superb. Niculae (I think) lost the ball and Hibs played it round our lot who seemed to just watch them double their lead. Shields should have made it three but a weak shot allowed Fraser to save. We were a bit better in the 2nd half but still created little in the way of clear cut chances with some of the best efforts coming in the last 10 minutes but by that stage, and even before then, the game was over and it seemed the players knew it as well. Worst of all I think the majority of ICT fans thought that as well.

After all this pre match talk about Bayne he did not too bad today :003: Given we went with our usual tactic of hump it he was the only one likely to win it against Jones and he did so quite often. He also went in for some meaty challenges in particular one with Makalamity. Well done Graham!

Not sure if that is tongue in cheek but Marius was very poor today aside from a nice wee turn in the corner.

Oh aye! I mind that now. I'll get you a soda pop next time I see you :011:
  5. Right - so you offer to reveal the real story behind Marius but when asked to tell all refuse to do so.

    Do you mean Pittodrie?

I'll buy you a hot dog.
  8. Which sort of goes hand in hand with what I am saying. It's not usually me who tries to go with the glass half full stuff but it seems that despite our pretty lofty position there are those who continually try to drown the place in negativity. Wow, that was weird typing that. And you even mention the key point here - RUMOURS! There is nothing concrete to suggest any of this is true but if there is then I'll admit I'm wrong.
  9. Are we not currently occupying a position higher than we ever have been in the SPL? EDIT: Okay maybe not having looked at the table but given the gap between ourselves and the team in 4th are we really doing that badly?

Hello, are you bunch of ruffians heading down for the Hibs game? :003:
  11. You are like a man possessed.
  12. McBain wasn't overly bad on Saturday come to think of it. I think he is better suited infield however.

So basically the team I "picked" for Motherwell - good to see someone else in agreement :003: Good point about Rob Jones as well. Brewsters long ball game was dealt with so easily in the Cup fixture that surely he can't think that it will work this time round? We are a much better team when we get it down and pass it. I mind one fixture a couple of seasons back where the post match comments where something along the lines of ICT passing the SPLs best passing team off the park and we need to do that again.

I'm coming from Glasgow on Saturday for this one. Think I get in about half 12 on the old Megabus. Normally go to the Omni Centre (?) for some lunch at the Wetherspoons there and there are a good few pubs on the way to Easter Road. It's dead easy to get to: *Google Map* Only about a 15 minute walk max I think. The Iona keeps getting mentione dbut I thought it wasn't that good. There was another pub a wee bittie up the road from it that myself and Clacherholiday went to to meet Slovak. That was a braw wee place.

  16. Fair point. I hope he doesn't believe that we play a passing game though. If he does it is seldom evident. If we are going to go for long ball at least do it right i.e. utilise Bayne who would suit it well.
  17. What planet is Brewster on here?
  18. Rats deserting a sinking ship...
  19. Irons and Collins have resigned with Wadsworth rumoured to be away as well.

  21. Yes I did. After United scored.
  22. It's all my fault really :007:
  23. Why would you assume that I wasn't there? :017:
  24. Watched the BBC Online highlights this morning. Have a look if you haven't done so. His ball in really is superb. Inch perfect indeed.
