good points but I dont think its the fault of the family section. We dont know that the complaints came from there and no I dont sit there either. The funny thing is that I bet in a few years time the same kids in the family section will be the singers in section G getting criticised by others. As I have already posted I think the club have handled this badly but we just have to get on with it. I personally enjoy the banter in the north stand from section e and section G create a good atmosphere to support the team.Most of this is pc nonsence but thats the way it is these days.

Dont think we should go down the tit for tat route and it sort of blows our banter arguement out of the water. Hopefully this will go away for a while now - well at least until Nov 7th anyhow.

Have to say I think Golly has been ok since he came back and is the best of what weve got at the moment in this position. Did'nt think he was particularly great yesterday but may have jsut been an off day and nothing drastic happened.

sorry if repeating what has been already said havent read all this topic. I'm just glad we won. It didnt have to be pretty and some folk never seem to be happy judging by the moans on the way out of the stadium. Watched the game again later on tv when I got home. The incident with Hayes seems really weird. How the linesman and the 4th official saw nothing in it I'll never know.Then Morrison had the cheek to appear to go over and tell Hayes to get up. Didnt actually realise how poor the crowd was in the North stand until I saw it on TV. Looked poor in real life but now quite as poor as it really was. By the way thought the Foran interview on the tv good stating that there was only one team in the highlands and that we were it. Esson immense as usual.

Good post Alex. I agree with what you say but nowadays so called pc complaints seem to rarely come from the group concerned whcould have cause to be offended. eg people getting their knickers in a twist re Christmas springs to mind.

I agree Davie, but according to the police calling someone a gypsy b'stard can now be looked on as a racist attack. What really sticks in my craw is that it was actually our own supporters (all two of them) who made the complaints. Does anyone know who they were? Wish they would speak up even anonymously and give their side of the story. I kinda wonder if it was the bad language they were really objecting to or didnt really understand the history of this banter.

But they did magnify the issue it's even been picked up by the national press according to some. Just feel this has been badly dealt with.

I.m confused here. Did anyone actually complain to the pokice or SFL/SFA re this or is this just the reaction of the club to the 2 complaints? If no-one had complained at all would this have carried on as banter as has been the case for years? If it is the club well you have to wonder about their communication with the fans and the bad press we all have had whether we chant or not.

This is unbelievable. 2 complaints cause all this publicity which make us all look racist to the rest of the world. Horrified about the P and J article. I think the club reacting like they did has made things a lot worse and has made us all look bad. No wonder folk would rather stay at home.

If you were at the meeting please post. Would be interested to know what actually was said instead of the sanitised version the club appears to have put out. Seems no one has a sense of humour anymore. Would have thougth the police would have had better things to do.

Did Mike Smith get round to meeting with either the trust board or the fans who asked for a meeting yet?

Slightly off topic but I dont see why STV needs its own pundits/commentary for the champions league anyway.

Sort of agree but the "diddy cup" can earn the club a substantial sum of money if we win and also winning the cup would be good for morale all round.Losing again to County would be bad all round.
