  1. Yup, and if we don't draw United, It will be another long trip. Semis are at neutral venues, so Tannadice is a likely bet if we get through, unless we draw United in the semi in which case Pittodrie seems like the obvious choice.

Yep, will do. It's going in 2 weeks tomorrow.

Maybe not, I have discovered this from Tesco Direct. If you use the points as "Deals" they're worth ?40, so net cost is only ?35. I've just bought one. You get 4 months of free channels and as long as you cancel it during this time giving them a months notice, you get to keep the dish and box giving you all the Freesat channels.
  4. Is this the same Darren MacKintosh that ran "Harpers Fitness" in Harbour Road a few years ago?

This should be on Freeview. Send a complaint to the BBC here.

So far, Sportscene is actually a whole lot worse than Scotsport was. Never thought I'd hear myself say that. BBC Sport Scotland have plenty of talent and resources at its disposal, shame they choose not to use them and instead serve up this crap.
  9. The Bught is the obvious choice for a new stadium. Yes, it may be almost as far from the cty centre as TCS, but looking at google earth, TCS seems to be the most northerly building in Inverness and the Bught looks to be almost in the middle. As for traffic concerns, Hearts and Rangers seem to manage ok with hardly any on-site parking, and both have far, far larger crowds than we will ever have.
  10. Yep. He's from up that way I think.
  11. Because they are (or rather would be) idiots. I doubt he will get cheered however. I don't think anyone will do anything. I'd be disappointed if he was booed. Well said RIG.
  12. Sign Dods and Mann then all 3 options are available. Pick a central defensive pairing from Munro, Dods, Mann & Duff every week. Sorted.
  13. Ah, thanks for the explanation Scotty/CaleyD.
  14. I'm interested to know (in a geekish sort of way) how someone votes more than once, and how are they detected? Is it someone logging in twice under different names using the same IP address? Or are they deleting cookies so that the system thinks they haven't voted? Something else?
  15. Aye, let's get rid of the lazy, unfit bstard and get someone more athletic in, like maybe Jeffries or Calderwood.
  16. Fuxake, I know we were playing two games 90 miles apart on the same day, but I thought our squad was stronger than that!
  17. In the current economic climate, I would be amazed if season ticket sales were not significantly down on last year. The cost of living is relatively higher than this time last year with food, power and fuel costs rapidly increasing, so a ST will be seen by some as a "luxury" that needs to be cut back. To combat this, a business needs to make it as easy as possible for its customers to part with their cash, and to keep parting with it on a regular basis. I think ICT are failing in this respect. My plan would be to have a "rolling contract" for season tickets. Say, for an adult ?30/month for the Main Stand or ?25/month for the North Stand. Payments to be taken every month of the year. ST holder has the option to cancel during the month of June. If they don't cancel by the end of June then season ticket is automatically sent out.
  18. I'd also like to say a big thanks to Mee for starting it all. I know the Metro site didn't work so good for a few days, but that's not Mee's fault. Apart from that I thought it was great. Cheers Mee :021:
  19. Spooky! :015:
  20. Marius had very little of the ball, certainly nothing that could be called a "highlight". Think "Marius in a SPL away game" and you'll get the picture. Sorry, but unlike some other prominent posters, I've had the jabs and been innoculated against "marius fever".

Someone in a UEFA.com chatroom is claiming that the Romania team for tonight has been announced and Marius starts!!!
  22. Good luck to the Metro people in processing 300,000 transfer request emails. If they get through 1500 a day they'll have it all done by Christmas. :001:
  23. Villa scored 14 points today.
  24. James - Click on the Inversneck Superleague" link just above the table at the beginning of this thread. It is still working. Think the Metro site is struggling to cope with the volume of traffic at the mo.
