  1. Bronson.........at a Lionel Richie concert. I'm struggling to get my head round this. What next? The Mann for the Job goes to Brotherhood of Man?
  2. And who was that mystery man on the tannoy? He sounded vaguely familiar.
  3. An enjoyable game with the 1-1 draw about right. Both teams had plenty other chances to win. Richie Hart hit the bar from about 25 yards and Dundee ended up with nine men. Just as well that Brew was out as he was taking some stick from the visiting fans.
  4. With our own mob without a game, is anyone going to the County v Dundee match?
  5. Clickety Click Well done that man
  6. DJS replied to AJS's topic in Caley Thistle
Thought he didn't do too badly against Killie but even before he was sent off against the Bairns he didn't look at all comfortable. I think Falkirk will really try and test him this Saturday.
  7. Agree totally with Roscoe as MOM. Thought he played really well.
  8. He has spent a couple of summers working in the States and I hope he does really well with them
  9. Barr was every bit as guilty as Duncan and the referee quite correctly dished out equal punishment.
  10. Bazza's goal against the Pars - first SPL game in Highlands Denzil's late equaliser against County at New Year when two minutes earlier they were 3-1 up The 4th goal against Ayr in the Scottish Cup 2001
  11. Butcher's post match interview should be issued on CD. Absolutely brilliant! Pizza and Lucozade! Can you imagine that a couple of months ago?
  12. 39 again, eh! Many Happy Returns.

Thought Foran did really well today. Think he'll prove to be a good signing.
  14. Gents, congratulations on getting the job. I'm sure you are under no illusions about how big a task you have taken on. There is no doubt you will find the fans right behind you on Sunday and we all hope you can get off to a successful start. Hopefully, Celtic will be knackered after tonight!
  15. Both Duncan and Brian contributed to a hugely enjoyable evening. Lots of good stories and some interesting opinions. My thanks to them both.
  16. DJS replied to Harry Chibber's topic in Caley Thistle
They've got someone in for Saturday.... It's the ever versatile Graham Bennett.... and according to his assistant John Doc, on Radio Scotland tonight, he might be in place for 2 or 3 games... That was the contingency plan, Harry.... We can obviously forget about Robbo now.... He could have been installed as manager by now - but for some pathetic tiff with DJS several years ago. I think you mean DFS.
  17. Sad to see the departure of another figure from Telford Street.
  18. You did, Scotty, but you weren't there to see it.
  19. Thanks to all who came along and contributed. Certainly an interesting evening with as much concern voiced about what's happening off the park as what's happening on it. If anyone was looking for a unanimous "Brewster must go" outcome then that wasn't to be as there are considerable numbers of fans who feel that would not be appropriate. However, I do think the statement above is a truthful reflection of the common concern felt by all ICT fans right now.
  20. I think it's fair to say I saw a flying pig over Fairways tonight.
  21. "In view of the current position of the football club, reflected in our current league placing and recent poor performances, we urge the board of the football club to, as much as possible, make clear to supporters in the next week its strategy to ensure that Inverness Caledonian Thistle retains its place in the SPL. In addition, we ask that the club urgently investigates how they can better communicate with the fans, retail merchanndise to the fans and generally make the matchday experience a more enjoyable one. We remain fully behind the ICT team at this time and urge all fans to do the same". Despite diverse opinions on some matters at the meeting, the above statement was agreed by the meeting and reflects the general concerns shown by the fans present.
  22. Just a wee reminder that the meeting is tonight. People can join the Trust on the night. Do remember, if you are going, that good order at the meeting is vitally important. It must not be a shouting match. People will inevitably want to express different views and must be able to do so without being heckled. Looking forward to seeing you there.
  23. I have to agree it was a strange way to go about a training exercise. I do think that Northern Constabulary were stung a bit during some previous visits of the Old Firm to Inverness when there were things being sung that shouldn't, no action was taken and Lex Gold and his cronies were critical of the lack of police action. Suppose OF fans are well used to it as they must encounter it at every away game.
  24. Having spoken to the police on the day and ICTFC today it seems that club officials were as surprised as the fans were by the appearance of the EGT at the game on Saturday. It was not raised at pre-match meetings. ICTFC contacted Northern Constabulary who say that Saturday was a training exercise in preparation for upcoming games, particularly the visits of Rangers and Celtic. It does seem strange but as has already been mentioned we are potentially under observation all the time at the ground from something much more clandestine than the EGT with their orange bibs. So let's give them no excuse to make a return visit to the North Stand with any sectarian singing or the like.
  25. News release from ICT FC Inverness Caledonian Thistle plan to invest to help ensure the club retains its SPL status. Chairman George Fraser said:"The major shareholders and the board are united in our determination to improve on a position where we are one of four teams level on points at the foot of the table. "We realise we need to strengthen the squad in January and significant finance has been made available to the manager for this purpose. He knows his budget. A network of sources will be used to help director of football Graeme Bennett to assist in the recruitment process." Mr Fraser added:"The directors realise there is disquiet among supporters at our poor home record and league position. We share that disappointment and recognise that it needs to improve if we are to rise in the table. "The long term future of this club is safe thanks to the emphasis which has been placed on sustainability. But we are ready to invest in the short term with the aim of ensuring SPL football for Inverness and the Highlands next season." ends
