  1. Crisis club got the lucky breaks yesterday. Lowest ever away support at Parkhead? I reckon there was about 50 there.
  2. Glasgow is busy too the weekend of the final. There's a big gig on and St Patrick's day falls on the Monday after the final.
  3. I'm delighted with the pricing policy for this one. Just a pity it's not a Saturday 1500 KO!
  4. It's only Aberdeen we're playing. We don't need a song.
  5. Play a weakened side and they'll beat us. Theŷ wanted it far more last week and it'll be the same in the replay.
  6. Match photographs are now online http://www.caleyjags.com/pa/g1314/140215_Hearts/index.html
  7. Heads up for those of you going early on the 'party train'. Someone on the Stranraer v ICTFC thread on Pie and Bovril mentioned dry trains.
  8. Anyone bringing the drum down?
  9. I'm going.
  10. Safe to assume it won't be televised? Gutted I'm not going to make the rearranged fixture. The refund on the ticket will be spend in our club shop though.
  11. Stopped reading here. Genuinely don't care about the wee team.
  12. Murrayfield best option, IMHO.
  13. I think in the final we should play with a 4-3-1 formation.
  14. Persevere opens at 11. Spoke to Dom the manager yesterday. They'll have 5 staff on. Wee review http://www.thebarfly.co.uk/2014/01/the-persevere-proud-fly-flag-leith/
  15. Just don't park on a double yellow line. Should be ok getting parked in Leith on a Sunday morning.
  16. Aye? http://www.hmfckickback.co.uk/index.php?/topic/137016-league-cup-final/
  17. Paul Hartley's thoughts. Very interesting. http://www.heraldscotland.com/mobile/sport/football/spiers-on-saturday-hartley-followed-his-own-path-on-his-way-out-of-alloa.23265587?_=e72a32b81af08da32dc6250f14ff025ff99ee615

    John Hughes

Can't disagree with any of this. I hope he's learned from past mistakes. When he was at Hibs apparently he was too pally with the players and it led to problems when form dropped. Massive positive today was Polworth's performance so hats off to the gaffer for giving him a start. I'd still like to see Ryan Christie get more game time.
  19. Weaker? certainly. They've still got a lot of fight about them though. Considering how threadbare their squad (team?) is, they performed brilliantly against a resurgent Hibernian side. And they'll want to beat John Hughes at Easter Road. Throw out the form book. This won't be a walk in the park.
  20. What's happened with this link with Arsenal?
  21. Has Duncan Shearer been appointed to this post? Who'll be taking the U20 team from now on?
