  1. despite the fact they don't offer it, i've always had success at purchasing a student ticket at the falkirk stadium
  2. someone should add him on msn...
  3. excellent result. excellent performance by charlie christie. do we have the best record of any team against rangers in the SPL this season? we are becoming a bit of a bogey team for them.. especially at ibrox
  4. brilliant as barry has been for inverness, i feel his time to be captain has passed. he doesn't last all of the game most weeks, and people are talking about how many more seasons he will be playing on for. tokely is at an age to captain inverness for a good number of years.
  5. i thought that when black and wilson were taken off that the team would lose its edge as they did against celtic, but there was a continuity about the play that meant we were still going for a third goal right up till the final whistle. hart and sutherland coming on was pretty successful, and i'm sure CC will use them both more regularly. i also think black is using other ways to channel his aggression. he was giving it back to the killie fans during the "iain black, you're a ******" chant, and that can only be a good thing
  6. i'd like to be a 3, but i realised as i was standing up for iain black when i was in the pub, i am a 4...
  7. i'm going to make the exact point that tm4tj did. the 2-1 win at broadwood will likely remain the most important game in our history for a long time. getting into the spl was and is a fantastic achievement. the top 6 split is just a current league format that will likely be changed in a number of years anyway. and the happiness of beating killie will not compare to the feeling of sitting top of the first division with one game left.
  8. agree 100% with everything in that post mantis... :016:
  9. i saw that too, and i had similar thoughts, but then i thought well, i support ict and i don't live in inverness... i think these things take time. people aren't going to drop their life long allegiances for such a young team. the ict fanbase will grow, but if it grew dramatically in a very small space of time, you would have to question the dedication of that support.
  10. thats exactly what i thought when i read it
  11. what contract have they recently signed that stops scottish natives listening to scottish radio? dear me.. sounds good though
  12. how excited must the boy fraser be right now? all those years as browns number two, and he finally gets his big chance
  13. thanks a lot mark, i hope it all works out for you. cheers for the many brilliant saves i look forward to reading many articles about how you've switched from one half of the old firm to the other :004:
  14. i voted clap. no need to kick a man when he is down, even when he left us as he did. i think we got our revenge on brewster at tannadice
  15. shame that markus paatelienan is alreadys seen as an ict reject, i had high hopes for him :004:
  16. i always thought this boy was mixu's son... quite interested to see how this signing goes. though will there ever really be another barry wilson?
  17. totally agree with everyone above, and all the pissed off scotland fans.. thanks for nowt walter. as the old cliche goes, you've gone from hero to zero
  18. to be honest, thats overly pedantic. i'm too young to understand (or care) about this caley vs thistle arguement. to me, there is only one team, and thats caley thistle. caley thistle is a bit of a mouthful, which is why some of the songs use the name caley, some use thistle, some even use inverness. just live with it
  19. going a bit off topic here - sorry - but does anyone know what the minutes silence before the game was for, i didn't hear anything and i was just wondering cheers
  20. i thought it was a pretty good post considering he managed to get that weird é thing in there
  21. i remember one time someone started up the classic "gimme a C.." and forgot what came after L. there was a pregnant pause, then a roar of laughter from all in the stand
