  1. Lee Wilkie is going to GRETNA.
  2. Apparently the reception staff at the Stadium are advised to refer to Terry if they receive any calls about transfers, specifically from Dundee contacts.
  3. 4. Brewsters upset :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: Record Sport FOOTBALL 9 August 2006 BREW'S GROWING SICK OF CALEY ANTICS By Euan Mcarthur CRAIG BREWSTER was last night fast losing patience with Inverness director of football Graeme Bennett as the saga to sign their top stars took another twist. Arabs boss Craig Brewster is losing patience with Caley The Dundee United boss admitted he's becoming increasingly frustrated with Bennett's handling of the situation. Brewster has already had a bid kicked out for Darren Dods but insists he's yet to hear back over their offers to lure Ian Black and David Proctor to Tannadice. United made a £30,000 bid for Proctor on Friday night and are still in the dark despite Inverness making it clear the defender is no longer part of Charlie Christie's long-term plans. Now the growing feeling within Tannadice is Caley Thistle are guilty of deliberately trying to foil United's efforts because they're still upset Brewster left Inverness. The manager said: "I'mstill waiting as far as Proctor is concerned. Their director of football was supposed to phone me back but it hasn't happened. I can't really remember them doing business like this in the past. They said they would not stand in Proctor's way so I don't see the reason for their delay. "I also put in a bid for Ian Black over a week ago but there's still no answer on that either."
  5. oh my!!! an impressive collection of letters there babe..... i have a GG, does that count!?! :015: Looked more like a DD to me.
  6. This thread is a load of Parrat droppings.
  7. I just do not understand people who take articles or press stories and add their own meaning to them.
  8. May 02, 2006, 07:47:58 AM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am reliably informed that Brewster has made an official approach to ICT and has laid now the ammount of money he is currently been backed with by the Grocer. At the present time and I cannot see it changing, Black and Proctor will be at Tannadice next season. 59 on: May 20, 2006, I am very reliably informed that Brewster and the Grocer made their first move at the end of the season. They basically stated that the three players that they were interested in were Dods, Black and Proctor and they even had the cheek to say what they were willing to pay for all three, which is rumoured to be 100K. ICT offered to sell Black alone at that price and Proctor at approx 25K. It is now oscillating between 35-40K. Probably end up at approx. 37K
  9. Dont worry. I will keep youse all up to date.
  10. ruptured achilles :019: :019: :019:
  11. I would be indebted to the motley crew who actually stood on the Hill of Dung yesterday fer their opinions on a few observations. I am presently reduced to a Setanta viewing of games, and gawd it is feckin doing my head in, but here we go. The Aberdire goal looked offside. Dods appears to be getting the main blame but it certainly looked as if Rosscoe was flagging and may have been the main culprit. I take it that Dods was wearing the captains arm band? I also note that there were comments about his distribution..but that has always been poor. Did he perform as usual? When Bazza scored and ran towards the Main stand Dods was one of the first there to celebrate with him. Should we not perservere with Dods if he stays? From last weeks comments many, unusually, were suggesting that Russell Duncan was MOM against the Midden. IMHO McBain has always been my pick fer the holding role. I feel he is more mobile and more skilful. Has he earned another starting place against the Hibees. Rankin looks the part and appears to be a fine passer of the ball. What is his running off the ball like and how does he blend with Blackie. Wyness appears well short of confidence. Bayne may not be Mr Skillful but he is certainly Mr Energy, Mr Stamina and Mr Getinaboutya. Shurely he is a better foil fer Dargo..at least in regard to what we have in the squad at the moment. As fer the other games - The Huns should have wellied the Arabs and what a classic Robb OG. Latapy is running the show fer the Bairns but he will run out of steam soon. Midden looked the business but Well looked dire. Hibees are still trying to play too much football and Killie have a real star in Naismith. Muvversmell and the Pars are rightly at the foot of the table at the moment.
  12. Sorry Alex..I forgot fer a moment that I was prophecising to lay people. Skilled tasseographers, like ma good self, often refer to numbers as letters due to the potential tea leaf formation displayed.
  13. Why dont ya stick yer head down under and have a look? :015: :015: :015:
  14. Torquill Mcsaatchi designed it and assured me that it would get me noticed. :015: :015: :015:
  15. I was quaffing ma tea just aboot 4.51 and the feckin room started shaking. The letters BW and the letters 2 and 3 were immediately prominent. Then I saw a ball smashing into an empty net with the goalkeeper nowhere to be seen. Barry Wilson has evidently scored the goal of the feckin season.
  16. But is he a Time Machine?
  17. I got mine from Barmy Flags. Excellent. :clapping04: :clapping04: Look at the Ayr game pics on CaleyJags.com
  18. And from TODAYS' herald: Christie has played down suggestions a deal has been done which will see defender David Proctor sign for Dundee United. Craig Brewster has already seen three attempts to sign the right-back fail this summer. However, Christie insists the 22-year-old remains a firm part of his first-team plans. He said: "I have heard absolutely nothing about this from my board or from Dundee United and David is a part of my squad and plans for this season." :010: :010:
  19. Yet more evidence of the Power of tasseography. :003:
  20. Well that is Proctor offski.. but I am also reliably informed that "deep" discussions are also going on about Dods. PROCTOR IS UNDER ORDERS ANDREW DICKSON 08:50 - 05 August 2006 Caley Thistle last night turned down another bid from Dundee United for David Proctor - but expect to sell him to the Arabs early next week. Tannadice manager Craig Brewster has repeatedly tried to sign the 22-year-old, having several cash offers for the player rejected. But the two parties are now close to settling on a five-figure sum and Inverness director of football Graeme Bennett expects the deal to finally go through. He said: "United came back with another offer today and we have rejected it. It is now down to them to come back to us. "You have to listen to what people say but, at the moment, we are not in agreement. "But there is not a big difference between what we want and what they are offering us. We are willing to let David move if there is a sensible fee involved. I do not think anything will be done over the weekend now but if they are going to come back with a new offer, it will be at the start of next week."
  21. Here we feckin go again. I am informed that Brewster has made yet another formal bid..this time fer Proctor and Dods. They could be at Castle greyskull tomorro instead of the Hill of Dung.
