  1. Well done Andy Barrowman getting a hat-trick. Let's hope he can keep up this strike rate throughout the season.
  2. Aye, you are right there. That was very good to see. Surely the smallest away support ever seen at Fir Park. :D
  3. Aye, watching Mikey struggling with crosses brought back some bad memories from last season. Think we made the right move here.
  4. Spar stores selling Killie pies ? Very helpful - thanks.
  5. Interesting - I wonder if plans are afoot to launch Clach out of the Highland League ?
  6. Is this sort of thing sustainable in the long run ? Footballers like Ronaldo and Kaka are on money that just further distances them from the fans. They now inhabit an alternative universe.

I think it's a confidence thing with Andy. I think he'll do much better next season in Div.1 and perhaps come out of it as a much better striker.
  8. Good opportunity to get on with the garden, catch up with some reading and listen to a lot of CDs. It's actually quite good to get a break from football for a couple of months.
  9. we can buy a new Andy Barrowman :D Or help pay for the existing one.
  10. Had Lionel made the tackle I shudder to think what would have been said... :crazy03: Here, here to that.
  11. Very true - quite a contrast.
  12. They've done it - final whistle. Burnley 1-0 Sheffield Utd. Fantastic ! :024: :) :021: :021: :021: :021:
  13. Very surprised. Are those being offered contracts "Butcher's Boys" ?
  14. Still 1-0 to Burnley. Sheffield Utd down to 10 men - Ward sent off.

Well, well it didn't take long for the managerial merry-go-round to get going. Who's going to be next ?

Aye, you're right there - real football supporters and friendly too.
  17. Good luck to Burnley and Owen Coyle in the Championship play-off at Wembley this afternoon. It would be great to see them playing in the Premier League next season.

Isn't the standard of refereeing throughout Scottish football utterly atrocious though ? We are just one of many victims of really shockingly bad match officials. What is being done to improve standards ? Precisely nothing.
  19. After watching Rangers in action this afternoon at Tannadice I wouldn't say the Bairns have a hope. Nice to think that they might and a wee team wins the Scottish Cup but it's pretty doubtful.
  20. We can't be calling for a change of manager even though it's quite understandable after the terrible disappointment of yesterday. We must keep the faith with TB - Division 1 will be a challenge for him and Maurice too. No, no changes please and let's see what they're made of.
  21. Did I hear right on BBC Radio Scotland this afternoon that we're in line for a ?250,000 parachute payment after being relegated ? If we are I hope it won't be eaten up settling the Marius case.
  22. I agree with you there. It's a tough division to get out of and I think we'll be there for a while. I hope I'm wrong.
  23. There's little doubt that failure to hold on to the 2-1 lead in the Motherwell game cost us dearly, as did the result last week at Rugby Park.
  24. We'll be back but it's not going to be easy. We're bound to lose a good number of players this summer. However, it could be a chance for some youngsters to come through. :(
  25. COME ON THE BUTCHER BOYS ! YOU CAN DO IT ! :(
