  1. Dropping Proctor would be a start
  2. Anyway we can replace Proctor with a wheelie bin for Saturday?
  3. Another home defeat to add to growing the collection and considering Hearts weren't any great shakes they run out comfortable winners in the end. Poor team selection cost us dearly. Tokely at left back with a fit Golabek on the bench was crazy and that's down to Butcher Proctor was abysmal and the sooner he is out of the team the better. As soon as Templeton got the ball he s**t himself and ran away. Hopeless. You had to feel sorry for Esson with that defence in front of him. Still at least we got lucky that the clueless ref didn't give them a couple of penalties, the one in the second half looked a stonewaller. I think it must be obvious even to the most optimistic ICT fan we are in a relegation dogfight already and its going to be a long hard slog this season
  4. Seems like they've been going to 'start' negotiations for the last few months as it is. I won't be holding my breath over a new deal though. Any agent worth his salt would be advising the player to keep his options open till January. Unless Rooney LOVES it up here of course.

Gillet, McCann & Sanchez are apparently all injury doubts for the game
  6. Whilst I agree it's bolstering a small squad I can't help but feel it's a case of quantity over quality. If we need cover for injuries & suspension why not play one of the young guys? It's one way to find out if they can cut it. Signing a very average player like Duff just suggests (to me anyway) that our management team don't think they are good enough (maybe they aren't of course!) We have a pretty decent first eleven but beyond that we are struggling. If are chasing a game with 20 minutes to go you aren't going to bring on players like Duff to change the game. I don't expect many people to agree with me but it just seems to be a safe, predictable signing that offers us nothing different when that's what we are really needing.
  7. Pointless signing IMO
  8. County supporter at work mentioned it this morning but just read a thread on pieandbovril and he may have got it from there???
  9. Gow signed for Motherwell
  10. Any truth in the rumour he's getting a deal till Xmas?
  11. We can still sign unattached players I think. Worrying that Hamilton, Kilmarnock & St Mirren all strengthened their squads though.
  12. According to the Inverness Courier Foran isn't likely to feature for another 4 weeks Courier Link
  13. Just watched the Imrie goal on the BBC website and like I thought yesterday McCann could have stopped him before he shot and Esson was slow to react
  14. Given our result against United losing yesterday was a real body blow. We now have 2 difficult ties against Hibs & Hearts coming up before we play St Mirren away (which I think is our most realistic chance of 3 points).

He still young and in his defence he plays much better on the his natural side the right. Butchers insistence at playing folk on the wrong side just doesn't work as these guys aren't (I'll be polite) 'comfortable' on the wrong wing We have a flying machine in Hayes but his talent is wasted as more often than not he'll get into a crossing position and then have to switch the ball back to his left foot allowing the defenders to recover
  16. Well that's all last weeks good work down the dunger  Out thought & out fought by Hamilton. The performance today was so inept it was like the 'good old days' with Brewster in charge & very depressing indeed. I think we had 1 corner to show for the first 45 minutes which sums up how mince we were. Rooney was easily snuffed out by Mensing and as a result we were impotent up front. Worringly with Plan A ineffective there didn't seem to be a plan B and there was certainly nothing on the bench to save the day. We were reduced to sticking Tokeley up front for the final 10 minutes and lumping the ball vaguely in his direction. Will need to see the goal again as I thought McCann wimped out of a challenge with Imrie but you can't fault the strike. Esson seemed slow to react but maybe that's being a tad unfair. No votes for me for the player of the year for me. No one deserves any points Still at leasts it's a reality check for some & it looks like our SPL survival may well depend once again on our away form. Makes going to the home games depressing as hell though.
  17. Seems we have a few players doubtful for tomorrow. Courier says that 'Kevin McCann (groin), Ross Tokely (calf) and Dani Sanchez (knee)' are struggling to make the game.
  18. Today's Inverness Courier reports talks are to begin "very soon" although I'm sure a similar story came out at the end of last season
  19. I see Lennon is planning on shoring up his leaky defence by signing Stokes from Hibs How many strikers do they need?
  20. Pretty insipid game and 3-0 flattered us
  21. Superb stuff. Anyone predict us winning 4-0?
  22. Just makes today even harder with Rossco being out. What worries me more is the bench.
  23. Can't have too many complaints with today's result. We failed to captilise on our first half dominance and were blown away in the second 45 mins. Good individual perfrormances from Gillet, Odiambho and my MotM Esson but there weren't any real failures. Defence looked shaky at times with Munro making a few howlers but luckily we weren't punished. Celtic obviously got a big kick up the ass at half-time and we just couldn't cope with the pace. I think we have a good first 11 when everyone is fit but there isn't much on the bench Anyone know why Bloomenstein went off? Hair injury??
  24. Was a pretty good player a few years back. Will probably score a lot in the SPL
  25. Deal of the century for Celtic. ?9.5 million for him is hilarious
