Don't hold your breath!!! These things tend to drag on forever with ICT. Talks are always usually about to begin 'next week'
  2. I used to play for Dundee United therefore they will win Dundee United 3 - Inverness 0
  3. Shame such a good result is being overshadowed by all this other rubbish. Ho Humm Anyone seen the 'penalty' incident on Tv yet?
  4. Don't knock it! My prediction skills are so bad that the opposite inevitably happens. I shall continue to predict ICT losses
  5. I feared the worst after the opening goal and for the first 15 minutes of the game we were very poor. Then McGuire popped in a beauty and we never looked back :clapping There were some superb individual performances today but in general the whole team played well. Looked like Fraser was at fault for the opener and I'm going to have to see the penalty award on TV as it looked suspiciously soft from where I was sitting. Imrie ran his backside off and it has to be between him & Black for MOTM. Also honurable mentions for the displays from Duncan, Vigurs & Barrowman who kept harrassing the Kilmarnock throughout. McBain was about the only non-performer and he should have been off much earlier. Odd refeering decisions prevailed but as we got the rub of the green on the important ones I suppose we shouldn't complain. Very amusing to watch Jefferies doing his nut over the awarding of throw-ins - his blood pressure must be a worry. Poor turnout crowdwise but considering recent home displays that's probably understandable. If we keep playing like we did for the vast majority of todays game I think more people will return TODAY WAS GOOD DAY AT THE OFFICE PS For what it's worth the wee number 10 of Kilmarnock is a cracking wee player - Tamouil??
  6. This week he predicts a 2-1 win for Kilmarnock and sadly I agree with him. However, my prediction skills have been awful this season so that should mean a home win!
  7. The ties will be played on 28/29 October.
  8. Dundee United v Dunfermline Falkirk v Inverness Kilmarnock v Celtic Rangers v Hamilton
  9. He got a back injury last year and was released at the end of the season. Now plays for Elgin.
  10. It says on Sky sports that Rory was taken off at half-time! Was this an injury or was he just rubbish?
  11. Tokely played right midfield with Proctor at right back in the 3-4 defeat against Aberdeen so it has already been tried. I don't think he's being playing well this season but will he be dropped? As you rightly pointed out he is the focus for pretty much all our set pieces so without him in the team we'd have to come up with some new ideas! I must add that in the player's defence he is constantly 'encouraged' by the manager to get forward especially when we are attacking the North stand in the second half
  12. Barrowman is suspended for the game tonight and Duncan is in the squad according to P&J
  13. Just watched the hi-lights on the BBC which made it out to be one way traffic towards our goal!! Looked like Munro was the main culprit for the goal as well
  14. OK everyone knows stats can be misleading but after todays defeat I got to thinking how many clean sheets we've had recently. This got me on to thinking how we'd performed this calendar year after that purple patch we had came to an end!! So I did a bit of counting (I'll hold my hand up and say I'm not entirely convinced all my arithmetic is correct and feel free to point out any mistakes I made!) and this year has been pretty poor people. The figures in brackets are the results if you don't include the whipping boys of Gretna Played 26 (23) Won 7 (4) Drawn 4 Lost 15 Goals Scored = 31 (20) Goals Conceded = 39 (37) Clean Sheets = 3 (2) P**h poor by anyone's standards Let's hope we have another purple patch soon - otherwise!!!
  15. For all you Billy Dodds fans you'll be delighted to hear he's tipped us to lose again. Controversial I know!! Doddsy's predictions His in depth reasoning...... Inverness are always well organised and have caused several upsets on the road in recent seasons. It might take Hearts a while to break the visitors down, but if they play anywhere near their best then surely they will come out on top.
  16. Here we go again another long drawn out contract negotiation process where things will 'hopefully' be concluded 'next week' :thumb04: Kilmarnock!??!
  17. Fraser Proctor - McGuire - Duff - Hastings Duncan Cowie - Black - Vigurs - Imrie Barrowman
  18. I sincerely hope you are right as the only legitimate home win I've seen in 2008 is us beating Kilmarnock ( the 2 wins against the Stevie Wonder netball team of Gretna don't count)
  19. Count yourself lucky you only go to the away games - it's murder being a home fan just now!! I'm wishing I had spent my money on a new TV rather than a season ticket Need to see the St Mirren equaliser again as I'm not quite sure what happened. The ball just seem to sail straight down the middle a despite a last ditch attempt by Hastings, Mehmet finished it well! Tokely had a mare today and was at fault for there winner. He feebly tried to tackle there winger who just strolled past him and after a bit of ping pong in the box the ball was stroked home and game over. Going to open a nice bottle of red tonight and get quietly sloshed. Early days yet but losing at home to St Mirren & Hamilton doesn't inspire confidence. Let's hope you away fans keep on witnessing us play well
  20. Perhaps when you are a bit older you might realise what a good player he is/was. We'll chalk that comment down to youthful exuberance!!
  21. If this is true then I think our manager has made the right decision. It's not always about the best individuals but rather how they preform as a team/partnership - from what I've seen Munro/Mcguire doesn't work
  22. To be fair he got 4 out 5 predictions exactly right the previous week and the correct outcome in the other. He does, however, seem to tip us to lose more often that not
  23. Munro played in the 2-1 reserve defeat to Falkirk today so assumin there is no adverse reaction I guess he'll be available for Saturday. I may be in the minority here but I don't think McGuire is all that bad a player. Granted he's made a few mistakes but so have the rest of our team. He seems to be public enemy No 1 as far as some fans are concerned though and I think Munro gets a much easier time of it because he's local - he put in some shocking performances at the start of last season!!
  24. Congrats on the goal Broadfoot but that doesn't change the fact you shouldn't be anywhere near the Scotland team
  25. Broadfoot is starting!!!!!!!!!! Is there still time for a Black Hole to appear?
