Juanjos Back....................
Another strange development in an already topsy turvy season :rolleyes02: I'd much rather see our younger players given a chance over someone who was deemed surplus to requirements several years ago by our current management team :023:
-
From todays P&J
That's great news for him let's hope he signs for County. What ICT needs is a centre back that's good in the air. In the P&J article why does Brewster say 'we are losing' Richie Hart? Surely he is being shown the door when he would happily stay!

New Contracts Offered
Those were all the names my old man remembered :015: It's far from a definitive list. Woods is in all likelyhood included

New Contracts Offered
Can't see anything on the official website about this but apparently (2nd hand info) MFR reported this morning that some of the younger players have been offered 1 or 2 year deals. Don't know any specifics but Rory, Zander, Duff, Kerr, Vigurs & Macdonald names were supposedly mentioned

IAN BLACK ?
The word 'shambles' springs to mind :029:

IAN BLACK ?
The article in today's Inverness Courier doesn't really shed much light on the situation.... CLICKITY CLICK From the above article.....Rumours were that the player was told to avoid the game after a bust-up with Brewster last week, but the manager dismissed any behind-the scenes-unrest, stating: "Ian Black was just left out and that was it." Make of that what you will :024:

The Mcguire,Hastings and Imrie GTF thread
The problem we have in defence is that neither of our centre halves are any good in the air. Time and time again they get out jumped and because of that we are haemorrhaging goals Have to say I have been seriously underwhelmed so far by Imrie :rolleyes02:

The Duncan is a divot thread
I think the hilights will show that Duncan scores his goal from 20 odd yards out and then sprints forward to gesticulate wildly 2 or 3 yards from the touchline directly toward the Aberdeen fans. An absolute nailed on yellow card probably making him a cult hero amongst our fans until he gets himself sent off :029:

ICT -V- Aberdeen : Matchday Thread
Deja Vu or should that be Deja Brew!! Can't believe we lost :009: The effort and commitment shown by the majority of our players was impressive especially when down to 10 men in the second half. That's the kind of display I'd hope for week in week out from the team and if Brew can get them playing like that every week he can stay as far as I'm concerned. Tokely was immense and ran himself into the ground, Niculae was easily the best player on the pitch and worked tirelessly for the team and I can't believe I'm going to say this but the invisible man Roy McBain was great today - possibly his best ever game for ICT :clapping03: Who knows what would have happened if Duncan hadn't been so bloody stupid and got himself sent off as he was actually playing pretty well. Gutted we lost but well done Brew & the lads :021: PS It may have been mentioned elsewhere already but I heard Black was in the Heathmount today rather than attending the game :rolleyes02:

Ian Black
I agree with that Doresboy. He treated the fans with contempt that day with his shirt throwing antics - and not for the first time too. Personally I'd rather a shirt throwing strop over a Roy Mcbain stroll off the park without a care in the world any day of the week. At least Black has some spirit :021:

ICT v The Dons - Saturday 29 March
I wonder if this means we'll have the 'dream team' of McBain & Duncan in the middle tomorrow?
-
Ian Black
That's a fair point. Black has been disciplined a few times in the past

Players For Next Season
I'm sure it's Ross County that are signing him
-
Dennis Wyness
Exactly why did this 'version' of events take 8 days to surface?
-
Kilmarnock -V- ICT : matchday thread
Brew seems to be obsessing on the fact we can't score goals and ignoring the fact we are shipping them left, right and centre. Already with 7 games still to go we have conceded 5 more goals than our worst ever SPL tally. Munro & McGuire just don't work together as they are both similar players and neither is good in the air

We Need A New Manager For Next Season
Ralph Milne is a Dundee United legend and rightly so, from what I vaguely remember of him he was a quality player but then he moved to Man Utd and it all went Pete Tong. Strange choice of username for an ICT website though :014:

Kilmarnock -V- ICT : matchday thread
I think we made them angry by taking the lead :029:

Kilmarnock -V- ICT : matchday thread
I feel really sorry for the fans who made the effort to go to Killie today

Dennis Wyness
Without wanting to be controversial I'm not sure Wyness has been the same player he was since he did his shoulder in. The last few games I've seen him play he has been especially ultra-light weight and easily brushed aside. Now whether that is a physical or mental issue I cannot say. However, he has always scored goals when given the chance and I'm sure that was taken into account when he was offered a new contract. No matter what spin the club or our manger put on it they were happy for him to sign a new contract one day and decided to withdraw it the next. Not on :008:

Get Zander back
According to the radio this morning Brewster watched Zander play for Elgin on Wednesday night and was very impressed He's going to sit down with him and talk about a new contract. Good news indeed unless that's Brew code for clear out your locker!! :tic01:
-
Another week Still no Contracts
Is this whole thread obsolete now Duncan has signed a new contract? :tic01:
-
Gretna v Celtic
I thought Livingston had decommissioned there under soil heating thus making there ground non compliant with SPL rules :024:
-
Dennis Wyness
I had assumed he wouldn't be but he was quoted in the paper last month saying he takes a very hands on approach during contract talks :024: What does our DoF actually do? I'm not having a go I'd genuinely I'd like to know!
-
Another week Still no Contracts
Has the offer that Duncan had to make his mind up one way or the other by the weekend also been removed?? Perhaps it was NEXT weekend he had to give us an answer by :rolleyes02:

Another week Still no Contracts
That's a good point L_G. At the present 'cull' rate we might be looking to bring 6 or 7 new players in the summer. Given our well documented problems in attracting players to the area and limited financial resources we could be shooting ourselves in the foot. maybe the manager will have to delay his retirement plans :023:
