I feel a real pro will always give 100% to the club paying his wages, but what happens if the scenario arises where Cowie has signed a pre contract with Well and ICT are playing them in bottom 6 decider,will he quite as intent on securing points for ICT knowing next seasons footballing destinations may well hinge on it.We had this scenario with Derek Lyle last season signing a pre contract with Hamilton and the possibility till near the end of season we could be playing Accies in final game for title,this caused a huge amount of dissent and discontent amongst the support and i'm sure the dressing room. Taken from Teletext today.... The Scottish Premier League have confirmed they are considering scrapping reserve football next season. Top-flight reserve football has been part of the game for more than half a century and its abolition could see up to 100 players released by SPL clubs. SPL marketing and communications manager Greig Mailer said: "It's a little too premature to say it will be scrapped but it's under review."

Interesting to read today that Partick Thistle may have to go part-time next season as they cannot attract enough supporters to break even. Apparently there average crowd is 2,500 with 3,500 being the required figure. We would certainly struggle to reach those numbers without the OF and Aberdeen games to inflate our attendances

Black was treading water in the second half and was obviously not 100% fit. I guess he was told to last as long as he could today. Disappointing but lets face it entirely predictable result. Things might have been different if we'd taken one of the first half chances. Sadly the game was over as soon as Rangers scored. I think everyone got right behind the team today despite the current circumstances and I only heard a few muted cries for Brewster to go at the end. Of course the fact we were playing one of the OF in a live televised match kind of makes this game irrelevant in terms of his managerial ability! Another worrying statistic is that our goal difference advantage over Hamilton has evaporated over the last few weeks I'm sure you were 10+ goals better off than them a few weeks ago It will be interesting to see how the team perform next week, for example, as I doubt they will be as 'up' for that game.
