ICT - Partick Thistle (H), Sat 28th Sept
We need to guard against complacency against Partick. No matter how the season has gone so far, McCall will have them fired up for this. Although we should take the 3 points with something to spare we will have to be wary and bring our A game to this one.

Chairman resigns
I always worry about a new broom sweeping dirty, but given our current situation I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will indeed be a clean sweep. However this boardroom situation develops, I sincerely hope it doesn't affect the good things that are now happening at front of house on the pitch and that Robbo is given the opportunity to continue and develop this team.

Loanees - How are they developing?
I didn't know about the Fort documentary, anyone know if it's available on an i-player or You Tube? I've also been keeping an eye on their scores, pleased for them and our lads that the loans seem to be helping both ways.

Team for Peterhead.
Aye Scarlet, I wish them well and hope we get to play them regularly when they join us in the top tier.

Team for Peterhead.
Thanks for the report Stan. Although you would expect/hope the the team would be up for it and ready for the off at the start of the season I do tend to side with the feelings from Satan and Cameron. I don't see the League Cup as a diddy tournament but it is an excellent opportunity to get some competitive games under the belt and match fitness sharpened before the really important stuff gets underway. I would imagine Peterhead had a bit more hunger for it than we did wanting to prove they were worth their promotion.

Sad news and a sad loss - lovely tribute thanks Scotty.

Play offs
Happy for St Midden, they deserved it more, but disappointed that we'll have to face the tangerine tw@ts again next season. Would like to have seen the back of them but it does give us 4 opportunities to stick it right up 'em next year!

David Carson Signs For ICT
Spot on DD - English non-league sides are of a far better quality than most folk realise, with budgets and grounds most Scottish clubs can only dream about - so choose wisely and we could pick up some gems just waiting for a break...

Do or die - Dundee Utd (A), Fri 17th May
Gutted all the play-off games have been on BT Sport - missing the Champions League semi-finals was bad enough but thought the play-offs would be on the new BBC Scotland channel. Guess they're regarded as Premiership games not Championship - oh well radio streaming it is again, got to be grateful for that...

What we need in transfer market to improve.
I'd love to see a tie-up with Norwich City, as Caley Tennis said in his posting they have a tremendous academy setup. They're on the verge of winning the Championship on a team that cost peanuts. They made a mint out of selling on James Maddison to Leicester and his improvement started with his spell at Tannadice where he got regular first team experience. Another cracking batch of youngsters are coming along nicely as are our U18s. City were on the brink of collapse when Webber turned up and the astute activity in the transfer market (selling as well as buying) has had remarkable success. A lot of that is down to Farke and his knowledge of fringe players playing in the lower level European leagues. I remember we used to have a great scouting setup and for me that seems to be what we're missing the most. Norwich have proved, as have we in the past, that you don't need big bucks to build a winning team. What you need is an overall strategy and vision that everyone buys into - sound business sense, a good scouting system, good coaching and a great team spirit. We're more than capable of that.

Hearts -V- Inverness CT
Disappointing result and sorry now I didn't make the trip - can only travel up the once so was saving it for the final as, yes, I was fairly confident we would win this one despite the massive gap between us. Still proud of their achievement in getting to the semi and the play-offs considering all the early season issues. Could still be another memorable season!

The Promotion Race
We've done well under the circumstances to be in this position, it's a very easy league to get out of - at the bottom!
