Sad to see you go Dave, although it was probably inevitable would have been great if the club could have dug a bit deeper to let you stay for the full season. Your 100% commitment, personality and experience are still needed. You can still cheer me up though by joining my other club and head back to Prenton Park - the Rovers need you too! All the very best wherever you go and thank you for the immense contribution you gave to ICT.
  2. Me too! On first reading I thought wtf, who are the ones with the most personal interest here rather than the club's interest? Still haven't come to any conclusions, so think my votes will remain undecided and unposted this year unless a clear, honest and unbiased assessment appears from the ether, which I very much doubt.

We drove up from Norwich for the NewYear game at Dungwall that was postponed due to the frozen pitch, stayed overnight in Aberdeen and got as far as Nairn before we heard on the radio that the game was off! It had been -11 the night before so was no great surprise but couldn't get any confirmation before we set off. I hate late call-offs, they're always a pain in the proverbial for some poor sod.
  4. Overall reckon we deserved it - thought we bossed the second half a lot better with a few good chances, but how we managed to get to half-time with a clean sheet bamboozles me!
  5. Ridgers safe pair of hands - we wouldnae have been saying that a couple of months ago...
  6. I'm drinking Suffolk cider tonight, a witch's brew from the other side of our border!
  7. Alba's caption must have been wrong, looks like Vigurs is still on...
  8. 1 - 0 Bell - just as well our beloved IHE wasnae doing the subs
  9. Are we allowed to call this a run now? A few weeks ago I don't think anybody could see anything but three heavy defeats coming, instead we get 7 points out of 9 and extend the clean sheets to 5 in a row! Outstanding transformation, there's obviously some great work going on in the background from everyone! Well done chaps, tough one coming at Livi next week so more of the same please
  10. I'm pretty sure 4 games ago most of us would have taken that...
  11. Happy to get the point despite the moans about missed chances - at least they were created! Very pleasing to hear there were improvements and a bit of fight in the team today. It wasn't going to be easy playing them on their own turf with their new manager in place so a big well done to all for the performance - Rome wasn't built in a day, we'll get there...
  12. Well done everybody who worked to put this together - good looking job! Can you work the same magic on the team please ?
  13. It's been a rather depressing read of this thread and you get too think 'surely it can't be that bad?', and then I watched the highlights - oh dear!
  14. ...and we should - the more game time this squad gets together the better. Peterhead won't be simple pushovers though, they've had a solid start to the season albeit they've slipped up in the last couple of weeks. They beat Hearts and East Fife in their league cup group and if our defence isn't up to scratch on the day Rory could easily bag one or two.
  15. I'd be quite happy with a few diddy cup rounds. At the moment any extra games could help the team gel and give Robbo the chance to try a few things without the pressure of a league game.
  16. Absolutely Mr CJ - I'm looking forward to see who wins the Battle of Gringo Towers this season...?
  17. Yeah spot on DD - even if the Tarts were to make an unexpected approach I firmly believe Robbo has enough integrity to turn them down.
  18. Hope Robbo learned something from that tonight - the experience may be more valuable than the extra point.
  19. Penalty shootout via BBC live text - the long and winding road...
  20. 17 shots, 2 on target - well I suppose we've got to take the positive that we're at least creating them and hope the sharpness will develop...
  21. Nothing on BBC text feed yet - what happened and who scored?
  22. Just as in 2003/2004 - I'd happily take a repeat of that run in any season
  23. Indeed - we may have got a decent price a year ago but his value will have dwindled considerably over the last season.
