  1. Arabs beat St Midden 1-0 so the 3 points were vital for us given the other two results
  2. 94th minute for 3-2 FT 1-0 so job done
  3. HT 0-0 Twitter feed makes it sound like a lively start - could do with the same 2nd half but with a goal or 2...
  4. I find this all so very sad that friends with common interests and goals should fall out in this way. Unfortunately, rules are rules, and when it comes to company law there can be no grey areas. I just hope this can all be sorted out soon and amicably to the benefit of all concerned and the club in general.
  5. It's very reminiscent of the 2003/2004 run in to promotion - Robbo had a great squad for that push and their team spirit helped them enormously. The Irn-Bru cup win seems to have helped gel this squad together, they have shown they've got the ability and although it's a tough task (and most likely a forlorn hope) I wouldn't bet against Robbo pulling off an unbeaten run for a 4th place finish. Given the toughness of this league though, others will drop points along the way so we may not need to win them all to do it. Whatever happens, after where we were back at the start of October, I'm just delighted to see us in a position where it's still possible and we're the masters of our own destiny - go fer it!
  6. It counts for enough Yngwie - takes a huge load of pressure off from Dumbarton below us and a back to back off the cup win must be a massive boost for their confidence - great result
  7. Have I missed this at sometime, has USH been dropped as a requirement for competing in the premiership? If so, great, we should get rid of it. But if the requirement is still in place it would be a terrible lack of ambition to take that step only to find we had a resurgence, got ourselves promoted, and had to install it again. You never know, I'll always remain hopeful...
  8. Penalty! Even if we miss it's a great time waster...
  9. Is there extra-time tonight or do we go to a replay at 90 minutes? That's providing we hold on for draw here...
  10. Now wouldn't it just be our style to ruin that plan with a late season flourish to win it this year!
  11. It may seem like a no-brainer but Robbo's interview said it all regarding young Daniel - I doubt he'll be on from the start in any game soon. The old adage about being old enough if you're good enough is all very well and good, but Robbo seems to be well aware of the dangers of over-playing a 16 year old in the professional game. We just have to hope that his mini appearances will have the desired impact at the right time of the game.
  12. Game over 0-1 From the text feed it sounds like we chucked everything at them towards the end but only one of the attempts on target. Ach well, never mind, we have more important things to concentrate on over the coming weeks. Looking forward to hearing the real story from those that were there...
  13. Really fantastic result, great to see the chances are being converted at long last - and thanks for conceding one near the end, gives me an extra point in the NPL to make up for that shocking half-time scoreline
  14. I'm no happy - they've completely screwed my NPL forecast!!!
  15. With that pedigree you'd think they'd communicate better on the pitch!

Back of the net! Nice one Dave and thanks for the memories - you will be missed
  17. I wouldn't disagree with you there Alex - seems like we have the makings of good, solid and well balanced squad who could take us back to where we were. Here's hoping...
  18. ...or even the end of season promotion party Merry Christmas everyone!
  19. I remember the same being said in 2004 when we were so far off first place that not many gave us a chance of promotion - if we keep on like this I'd rule nothing out...

Interesting match preview on the official Bairns site which has the following comment... "We are continuing to remain in discussion with our hosts for tomorrow evening’s match and will update supporters regarding the pitch at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium as soon as we can. " http://www.falkirkfc.co.uk/inverness-ct-v-falkirk-match-preview-3/
