Hi James, thankfully the game has been called off early enough for you to make alternative arrangements despite missing out on the match itself. I had a barren trip some years ago for the same frozen pitch scenario when we were due to play Ross County in Dingwall - unfortunately I had driven as far as Nairn from Norfolk when I heard the announcement on Moray Firth Radio a couple of hours before kick off. I was a bit miffed to say the least and phoned the club to double check. Upside was I got invited to call in at the stadium for a cuppa and met the management team - you wouldn’t get that at one of your Premier League clubs! Enjoy your weekend and hopefully you’ll get back for a game sometime.

Aye, it puts them on 27 points same as Annan with us 5 points back. I’ve no doubt we’ll overhaul at least one of them but we may not have enough games left to reach any higher. I’m not really that bothered if we don’t get any higher as reaching 8th will be a massive achievement considering the state we were in such a short time ago - just glad we still exist!

I’d be more than happy to finish 8th this year but I’m quite confident we may do better than that. I’m also confident that despite starting with a 5 point deficit we’ll achieve that promotion to the Championship next season. Quite a change in my perceptions in such a short time - before admin and Kells I thought we were surely doomed.

That’s a superb result ending a tough road trip week! A 6 point haul from the three games, including a mighty effort at Palmerston on Tuesday, must be a real confidence booster. Bring it on…
