  1. Ok not pointing the finger at anyone but is this not a historical problem at ICT
  2. I have been waiting all night for your response to this one, it didnt dissapoint :D
  3. :thumb04: Legends dont come along every day lets hope we treat this one correctly
  4. Cheers Andy, I know your part of the world very well having worked in Morecambe for a number of years although I actually lived in Carnforth
  5. Totally agree that most want to keep Barry and I hope the club do just that, however wouldnt say that it is almost as important as keeping Black and Cowie as those 2 are probably our biggest assests, losing one at Xmas would be bad, losing them both could be a disaster not only for this season but for the long term future of the club
  6. quite possibly Alex but do you not think that Black etc should have been spoken to long before the credit crunch was even on the horizion.
  7. He has been a good signing, I think he still needs to work a bit on his final ball but has the makings of a very good ICT player
  8. Yes def looked onside
  9. Yes ralph I realise that what I was trying to say the team are not so much under pressure for results at home but more the performance, I would hazzard a guess that most ICT fans would take an attacking team performance at home even if we dropped some points at home rather than what has been seen so far this season
  10. Thank the lord, the first time someone has mentioned that he has the club at heart except me Pele, your spot on he has. Won't be easy to convince others though Ralph I am not sure so many other were concerned he has the club at his heart as after all he had Dundee United at his heart and history will tell what happened there, I do think brew is a decent guy but this is a entertainment business, and talking about heart, nobody had the club more to his heart that CC but that means nothing obviously, get the team playing attractive football with a bit of passion, and wherever his heart is the fans will support him end off Stevico1, United was a different animal mate, won't go into that but its in the past ! It's a forward looking business and if players were available on a different budget to what ICT have, then teams might well go down the A9 with the tail between their legs, but as Drochit Blue says its much easier to do it the other way round as the emphasis is on the home team. The home team never gets the luxury of sitting back from a home support (quite rightly) its just a fact ! Mantis, maybe your right but I'm delighted you've come away feeling what you did today because thats what its all about :thumb04: :018: Ralph Yes I agree football is a forward looking business, I am just a touch worried we are going backwards, Come on Ralph we are not playing in front of 40,000 plus crowds at home, a wee touch of the passion we are used to over the years and we would keep most of the fans happy you have to admit its not quite been right recently

  12. So Mr Pele, you think all is rosy in the garden, thats your choice, I like other dont think it is while I also dont think its all doom and gloom but thats what opinions are for expressing them
  13. What do you mean by that the thread or the last post, I think we can all agree there is a problem at home at the moment
  14. Agreed I really cant understand it
  15. Great 3 points away from home again, why not at home? It has been said that this is down to Brews lack of tactical awareness, yet how can he get the tactics right away? have we just been unlucky at home or have we just been lucky away, I dont think we have been just unlucky away (okay apart from thier penalty miss today) and although I wasnt there today, I am sure those that were will enlighten me it appeared the team fight and spirit was there. is the home form just a mind thing that after one good performance or a bit of luck going our way things will improve, I am not sure. I do think Brew got the tactics wrong at home this season but how can we do well away from home?
  16. Have to persuade the wife once again that the x factor is crap then
  17. Gringo thats a brill punt well done that man
  18. Congradulations Yngwie a great day for you. Great result, great 3 points and sounds like a good team performance and well done to brew for another good away performance, credit where credit is due
  19. I am not going to comment on his motives, but perhaps if the club were to clarify the questions regarding the stadium ownership this could all be put to bed
  20. Yes does seem like a complete waste of a salary, Hastings has been awful the last couple of weeks and he still didnt get a start, cant say I am sorry about that to be honest, but it begs the question why did we even sign him
  21. I wouldnt disagree with much of that but feel Zander might be a better asset at home when we should be more attacking and he would give us some width rather than away
  22. One things for sure it aint easy, sos Caley D :thumb04:
  23. To be honest I havent seen that much of him to comment, Brew has played alongside him so must know what he is like as a player. Like I said in a previous post the club have a habit of turning players who have lost their way a bit around aka Dods and Dargo hopefully if we do sign him this will be the case again
  24. Didnt realise that was the case with Cowie, with regards to Blackies expectations I wonder if the club discussed that with him or went with what was in the papers.
  25. While that might well be the case do you not think it would even have been worthwhile to at least try to get the ball rolling at the start of the season rather than so close to the transfer window
