i am absolutely confident in the players abilities to get us out of trouble. there is quality through the squad, not in huge amounts, but more than hamilton and possibly falkirk. with a new manager, they will all get a lift and hopefully win a ocuple of games, which is all we need at the moment. agree that robbo isn't the way to go, brewster is the definitive example of what happens when you re-employ a manager. most of 'his' players have either left or are going to leave soon and i've never rated him as a man-manager. the only reason he wants a job is because he can't get any others.

please not robbo, time for a new direction. i know it will cost to pay for a new manager, but if the board show a little foresight, in that we will lose significantly more money than we would need to spend in compensation for a decent manager if we get relegated. neale cooper anyone? brian reid? at the very least an experienced man is needed, no-one along the lines of mccinnes.

the worrying thing is our run of fixtures coming up that include celtic, dundee utd, hearts and aberdeen. Anyone see any points coming from those games cos i know i can't. personally surprised at the lack of fighters in the squad, i thought we had plenty in the shape of tokely, munro, hastings, black and cowie, but only a couple of those appear to be putting up a fight. Yet, very players comes out and states that "we are all behind brewster, morale is great, the boys come into training with a smile on their faces etc etc etc". if thats true then the gap in quality between us and falkirk, hamilton and motherwell is scary indeed. right now i'd take a player with little or no skill but one who is committed to the cause and who knows what is at stake. If we do drop down, there will be a mass exodus of players, and we will be left with a small support, sh@te manager and a depleted squad. Doesn't make good reading.

i think the board have gone too far already. the fact he has had the time and funds to buy 4 new players shows that brew is here to stay for the time being, probably until the split.

no, he was far better. Looked a wee bit dodgy from the couple of free-kicks, but did well enough.

Rooney, when he is allowed to make an appearance, puts barrowman to shame. He actually moves, jumps and can even touch the ball before pssing it/having a shot. Maybe its brews tactics, but barowman should be playing better.

EVERYONE is unhappy with the way the club is going. Not everyone is anti-brew, i'd say right now its roughly half and half.

Munro is only a good captain when we are playing well and winning games. He so far has shown no fight at all. Pavels already looks like a better player.

The fans were the best part of the game. They turned up in their numbers and made a good amount of noise. The hamilton fans wre sh@te, didn't hear them apart from when dougie came running past. Think he appreciated the fans for sticking with him and giving him a couple of songs, shouting down the accies fans. i feel a little bit sorry for hamilton, though. They are the worst excuse for a football team i ahve ever seen. At one point, when they had a throw-in, instead of throwing another ball onto the pitch after the other had been blazed out of the stadium, they sent the allboy to fetch the other one. It took at least 2 minutes jsut to get going again. They were pathetic. I thought hamilton were cut from our cloth, hard but fair. But they just cheated the entire match, the diving was incredible. apart from that, the only man with pass marks for me was big pavels in centre defence, he read the game well and played a good game. Morais tried but it just didn't come of for him. Baroowman should just leave, he has no feelings for the club and tried f@ck all in the first half. Wood was garbage when he replaced him. Esson was cr@p, can't remember a goalie kick the ball straight out so many times in the 2nd half. Next time, aim for the middle of the pitch. Don't believe the match reports, we didn't put up a fight, and we never looked like coming into it. A couple of free-kicks and a weak header was all we had in the 2nd half. Relegation looms.

the crowds aren't going to increase dramatically unless the ticket prices for adults are cut down to size. free tickets to ICT games? sounds like child cruelty

20 goals in 21 games is awful, no excuses. its not only the strikers fault for this (and some argue the manager) but the midfield have been disappointing for me this eason. cowie and dougie in particular should be scoring many more goals than they have been.

yes we do. you don't win games if you look as though you can't buy a goal. not only is the scoring of goals an important issue, but an experienced striker would help the likes of wood and rooney develop. I know we have brew already taking up this position, but playing alongside an experienced player who has been there and done it would be fantastic for the young boys.

i like the sound of him, but i hope this isn't our january signings over and done with. the one thing we need is the one thing we haven't got yet: an experienced striker.

Good to see mikey back, esson is a good goalie and his distribution is better but mine just has the edge on the pure basis that he is a fantastic reaction keeper, and gets downs low well to save. plus he was responsible for possibly the best moment in football ever with THAT save against 'tic.

sounds a good draw, i would have taken anyone at home. the way the cup has gone in the last few years, it wouldn't surprise me if we made it to the final a la Dunfermline. hopefully we'll survive as well though.

Looking forward to seeing him rip apart hamilton now, i think most teams won't be able to cope with him if he keeps it up. Mihadjuks + co must have been wondering what the hell they had got themselves in for, coming out into the pouring rain with only 1000 or so cheering them on. To be honest, it didn't look like Morais could have cared less, its been a while sinces hes been the headline maker at any club. shocking accent though.

THE NEW HERO just the type of player we need, someone with bags of energy and knows how to put it to good use. It's been a long time since i have seen a player put in so much effort in one match, the rest of the team should be taking lessons off him in how to impress the fans. One thing: what in gods name was his celebration for his second goal about? Glad to see someone enjoying themself on the ICT though. also liked the way mihadjuks is shaping up, looked like he knew what he was doing apart from a few misplaced passes.

I don't think BBB's post is 100% accurate, but the basis behind it is spot on. The whole premise of todays game was to raise the confidence of the players and of the fans, and from the game today it seems to have done exactly that. For people to be knocking the performance and the result aginst a decent partick side is ludicrous. Everyone should be using this as momentum to be carried onto the league games coming up.
