Was it a panel of blind people?

Jones for the Chop
So thats McKay, Gillet, Proctor, Meekings, Cox, and Jones all out...just a bit worried now.

Jones for the Chop
another 2 months before Cox is back 2 months ? I heard it was just 2 weeks.

Transfer Activity
Agreed that another striker is needed if possible, apart from that i think we are more or less set in each department, once the majority of the squad is fit Terry is gonna have a major selection headache.
-
Tudur Jones
i think the main concern is will we see him again in the near future? He was walking on crutches down Greig Street today. I had been impressed with him up until now, he was average yesterday but then again so was everyone.

Sending off in goal scoring opportunity.
In my opinion the rule should be changed to a penalty and a caution as opposed to a penalty and a straight red, its bad enough conceding a penalty but losing a man i feel is an unjust and unnecessary rule to add.

ICT -V- Rangers : Matchday Thread
A mediocre game which i think Euan Norris was far to keen to liven up, absolute erse. Having watched the replay it is safe to say that neither were penalties and that the red card for Rosscoe was totally wrong. If those penalties were at our end neither would have been given. I hope Terry tears a strip out of the officials for their performance - he is the only manager with the balls to do so.

Financial state of club?
As i recall the loser of the case was supposed to cover all legal costs.

Gillet and Proctor out for a month
Both Proctor and Gillet have had their hamstring injuries assessed and are facing up to 4 weeks out according to the courier. Suppose Shinnie and Piermayr will be fine till their fit but id be concerned if either of them got crocked as well.

Dunfermline v ICT: Matchday Thread
Having watched the highlights it looks to me like Martin Hardie went down a tad too easily.
-
Gregory Tade
Was that not Garry Wood and Rooney fecking up the chance against 'well doing the above just a few games before the split in our relegation season? I recall it clearly, Wood was going through on goal and Adam Rooney tryed to bend his run but for some reason crossed Wood's path, Wood took an elephant touch, it rebounded of Rooney's heal and the chance was gone.
-
Gregory Tade
An "assist" ? When / where ? Yeh scratch that, just checked the highlights, didnt realise the Dunfermline boy got the last touch to that pass to Tansey.
-
Gregory Tade
He wasnt as good as last week but he worked his socks off to make opportunities but any real credit he merited was dashed when he got Foran's goal chalked off. He didnt have to do it.

Team fer Huns
Esson Piermayr, Hogg, Tokely, *G. Shinnie Hayes, Jones, Tansey, Doran Ross Foran Subs: Tuffey, Aldred, Morrison, A. Shinnie, Proctor, Sutherland, Tade * G. Shinnie goes in provided Gillet isnt fit, if Gillet is fit then i would put him in and Shinnie can have Proctors place on the bench.

Dunfermline v ICT: Matchday Thread
The last thing i expected was a thrilling encounter but that truelly was one of the most end to end games ive ever seen. We started poorly, Dunfermline looked quicker, sharper and were worthy of their lead at half time. A grilling from Tel at half time seemed to galvanise the players. Good build up for Tansey's goal, Tade winning a knock down and laying it through to him, wicked deflection but they all count and you could see the relief from the players. Cheap 2nd goal to concede on Tokely's behalf, though id imagine he was worried about a 2nd yellow and was therfore reluctant to muscle into Kirk but it was a terrible goal to concede. Foran's header was amazing, why Tade didnt just bog off and leave it alone i dont know, maybe he is too keen to get off the mark, maybe he was keen to put one over on the pars fans who were heckling him all game but he shouldnt have done it and cost us a legitamate goal. Gallacher made a real gash of Tudur Jone's shot and Johnny was quick on hand to dispatch the equaliser which was deserved as were pressing at that point. The final 10 minutes arrive and Tansey shows terrific bravery to get on the end of Foran's header across goal, i thought we were going to pull it off, we had showed a real hunger in the final few minutes but Chris Hogg gives away a needless free kick and as Martin Hardie was standing over the ball i just knew what would happen, terrific free kick and probably on the basis of play a fair point shared between both sides. Why was G. Shinnie not in the squad? Proctor was thrown into the game and then hooked later on? Why??? Why not just put Aldred on in the first place? And i still think we are crying out for some pace up front, Johnny is no 2nd striker, a new striker before the window shuts or we will struggle for goals up front.

dunfermline away

Transfer summary
Overall im very satisfied with the additions we have made. Some of which are terrific prospects. There is no doubt that the team was in need of a freshen up, im sure many heads were turned with the amount of players that departed and some of the names amongst it but i think with the resources we have and the task that was faced in filling the massive gaps in the squad i think Terry and Mo have done an outstanding job. Especially in the midfield. Tansey and Jones look like great additions and the permanent signing of Doran was a stroke of genius. In defence i think they did well too, Aldred and Piermayr look like terrific propspects and the boost of getting Hogg back will have done no harm either, Josh Meekings is also another youngster with bags of potential. Another thing was the way he dealt with the situation of Kerrea Gilbert, dont mess with Butcher or he will mess with you - i liked the attitude. Up front has been well strengthened but still needs improved i think. Tade has a great workrate and is not afraid to get stuck in, McKay apparently has a great workrate too and i cant wait to see him in action. Only concern is both of them are facing a spell out and i would say we are maybe in need of one more striker. But as said, this squad has bundles potential and enthusiasm and i dont think its a case of if we win - its a case of when. Once this squad gels i can see us springing a few suprises throughout the season.

Hearts sack Jeffries!
Mad Vlad wields his axe once again...he has now probably seen away any chance they had of progressing this season, depending on who they bring in to replace the managment team. But Jefferies had done an outstanding job since returning. If i was a Hearts fan i would be bitterly dissapointed with this news. And im glad Hearts think they have sufficently swept Craig Thomson's case under the carpet...your fooling no one.

ICT v Hibernian: Matchday Thread
Foran's is much and such having watched. Way i see it he has strayed just off (typical Richie). What was blatant was Stevenson's handball and Foran getting hacked down. That should have been a penalty and a red card.

Adam Rooney
Please come back to us Adam, we need you!!!

ICT v Hibernian: Matchday Thread
Hibs were bound to win here sometime but today they did not deserve it at all. We looked much better, compared to last week. We moved the ball well, we got lots crosses in and on another day we would have put 2 or 3 of those chances in. Tudor Jones caught my eye especially, composed and strong in the tackle, looks an excellent signing. Tade was also much imrpoved on last week. Looked fitter, stronger and worked his socks off till he was hooked. Ross for me was as poor as ive ever seen him. Think Doran will be worthy of a starting place next week. Agreed with many that another striker is needed. Foran cant play 90 minutes, nor can Tade. While Shane is good he is just another battering ram. I know we are yet to see McKay but to me someone else is needed. Defence for me was again weak. Piermayr i thought was excellent but the rest were average, Gillet in paticular had a real stinker. Aldred had his good moments but i would have Hogg back in the heart of defence for a bit of leadership and experience. Steve Conroy - what an erse. Foran was wrestled to the ground and then later was taken out as he prepared to shoot. Dont see how they could be missed.

INS AND OUTS ?
Agreed with the above post. 1 more signing needed in a striker imo but the squad is really starting to take shape now.
-
Chris Hogg signs again
Great news. Delighted he changed his mind and a real boost ahead of tomorrow.
-
Chris Hogg signs again
It makes sense i suppose. We need another decent center half and he needs a wage.
