  1. No worries if the bus breaks down - Richie will dive under and fix it.
  2. He likely got hounded out of 'Miami' for requesting a track by Mike and the Mechanics. !!!
  3. He's maybe looking to a career after football....as a car mechanic. A Kwik Foot Footer, if you will.
  4. Good! Justice has been done...if only that farce in Madagascar (149-0) had seen the same punishment then Arbroath's record would still stand!
  5. I just feel that those stats can be dismissed as being of little significance due to the fact that Celtic fare worse than Motherwell, Dundee United, Ross County, St. Mirren and Hibs in both tables. Lies, damned lies and statistics!
  6. Can't look into those stats too much. I mean, if you have to go a goal down to a team, which team would it be to give you the best chance of still getting something? Hibs? St. Mirren? County? NO! The answer, for all teams, is Celtic! Not that I doubt the accuracy of the stats, but, in reality, what a lot of drivel!!!
  7. Fair play to the guy winning it but the reaction by the UK media I've seen is a bit over-the-top. Claiming him as 'ours' is clutching at straws, to say the least. No more than another 'passport Brit'.
  8. Shane Sutherland (Forres Mechanics 0-4 Elgin City) Debut goal for Shane after signing for Elgin.
  9. Yeah, he had a very short loan spell for a few games to help out Barry Wilson during an injury 'crisis' at Wick!
  10. 2-2 Final Score. I think our first goal was an o.g. from a Raith defender.
  11. Inverness Caledonian Thistle: Brill, Raven, Shinnie, Vincent, Warren, Meekings, McKay, Greenhalgh, Foran, Doran, Ross. Subs. Devine, Williams, Tremarco, Polworth, Cooper, Christie, Mackay.
  12. I heard he was injured again.
  13. I suspect you're maybe over-thinking things there, HSWHW. In my mind, pre-season is just about fitness, getting to gel with new squad players and trying things out. Historically, it hasn't had a great influence on teams' seasons. Where teams go, or who they play has no bearing on what happens come the real thing. I mean, ICT went continental a few years ago with little significance. Last season was our most successful ever...and aside from the home game against Coventry, our preparation saw games against Clach, Buckie, Muir of Ord, Deveronvale, Elgin, Wick and Brechin. Indeed, the last 2 games we drew at Wick and lost at Brechin! Real season saw wins at Ibrox and Parkhead! I enjoy the odd pre-season game but don't place any great significance on the outcomes.
  14. Was it a gun you had in your pocket or were you just excited to be at the valley?!
  15. Whenever I've been to Grant Street park I've always noticed 2 guys behind the goals, one eats batteries and the other eats fireworks! Mad! When the police arrive, usually the first guy is charged and the other guy gets let-off!
  16. 7pm I think. Don't know why it's not 7.30pm! Sorry if I'm wrong and you are half-an-hour early! You could kill the time by admiring at their new enclosure. The new wine shed!

Cameron Mackay. Primarily will be used in the U20's this season along with Nick Draper. Also back-up for Esson & Brill.
  18. I seem to think 7pm.

^^^ Thanks for the in-depth report.
  20. Zander Sutherland netted against us in the Brora 1-2 ICT friendly!
  21. I still think it'll be us! There's no mention of the holders getting a bye in the rules. Five teams will get a bye, Celtic, Hibernian, St. Johnstone, Motherwell and the highest placed team not qualified for Europe from last seasons league....Inverness CT!
  22. Obviously, avoiding relegation is the objective. With potentially 2 to go down this season there will likely be a real battle to avoid the drop. Keeping clear of that and pushing for top 6 would be good. I think we'll do fine.
  23. I like Borough Briggs! It's a typical 'Highland League' ground where you can still sit down on a grass embankment with a wee hip flask of malt whisky (I know someone who knew someone that did that once ).
  24. Aye, agree there. The batsman should have 'walked' yesterday and the Aussies would have won it today! Can't believe I was shouting at the radio this afternoon - I don't even follow cricket much!
  25. I don't think they've thought it through...lazy journalism! As I said in my initial post, I worked it out through the format. Simply put: Those First Round ties will eliminate 15 teams, leaving 27 left for round 2. Round 2 : The 15 winners from Round 1 are joined by 7 teams...Aberdeen, Ross County, Dundee, Kilmarnock, Dundee United, St. Mirren and Hearts.[22 teams : 11 games] The 11 winners of these ties are joined by 5 other teams (Celtic, Hibernian, Inverness, Motherwell and St .Johnstone) =16 teams. Simple! The BBC and other media outlets just haven't cottoned on yet! Edit from original post - I'd omitted St. Mirren.
