  1. Apparently a good player.
  2. This 'wonderkid' would be better staying at County than going to Liverpool. Liverpool have dozens of youth teams, a young player can easily end up playing in the U-18s 3rd XI for several years and end up about 20 odd with very little experience of first team football. You can tell these lads as they are usually quite technically gifted but lack a bit of savvy. That's one reason why someone like Iain Vigurs, who has experience of playing in the 3rd division with thuggish hatchet men, has a good chance at making it in my opinino.
  3. I had the misfortune of being in a pub when several of the Inverness true Blues returned from a trip once. Several of them had terrorist logo's on their polo shirts, the UVF to be accurate. With this in mind I contacted the Israeli security services to advise them that these terrorist sympathisers would be making as visit to Israel and they have just bulldozed their houses down. Nice one Shin Bet!
  4. Players from Kazakhstan eh?
  5. I thought we could have got a 0-0 draw, but I wouldn't say we were robbed. In the first half I didn't think Hearts offered much at all and I was quite confident in the second half that we'd push on and take the game to them. However, we were very poor in the second half, the midfield was non-existant and the strikers isolated. Kingston seemed to have an exclusion zone around him, such was the space he was given. Even when we got up and put balls into the box we didn't attack the ball with sufficient aggression. the throw-ins from Grant were well delivered but you need to get players attacking the ball - it's not like we are a team of midgets! I'd give pass marks to the back five, graham bayne did well but had little to work with but the rest of the side didn't do well at all. It's very frustrating as it's a game I think we could have won if we'd shown more invention going forward and with Killie and Falkirk both losing it's a real missed opportunity to push us right into contention for a top six spot.
  6. Was that you with the Finnish flag Rig?
  7. I think that's changed. I used to live up that way and the 35 goes through Princes Street roughly on that route. My brother's stag day will now include this game :001:
  8. Where does everyone hear this stuff? Healy is/was a good player but has had horrible injuries. Perhaps worth a wee punt though?

  10. Pretty sure he was there until he was 16.
  11. He didn't nail him. he made a fair challange for the ball, Grady stamped on him and inexplicably both were sent off. Prior to that match we were top of the league and Russell had played in jsut about every game. He then was suspended and subsequently injured as we fell away from the title race.

  13. I think he had problems getting fit at County as they dont' play reserve games.
  14. I have liked Russell Duncan since he played a pivotal part in our success in 2002/03 playing the holding role. He has had difficulties in the SPL but has also produced some excellent displays. I thought he looked good against Celtic from the telly and he was excellent in the last game I was at, the St Mirren match on New Years Day. He is also capable of a good ping, superb goal and hilarious celebration :015: Russell played as a striker for Scotland Under 16s and I believe was a record breaking goalscorer as a youngster :010: Get him and McSwegan upfront Christie! :004:
  15. I can't ******* go as my brother is having his stag weekend that day :008:
  16. Get in Russell. He's been playing well recently I think.
  17. Paatelinan is cup-tied.
  18. You would'nt have signed some of our ex-players over the years (and continue to do so) if we were so backwards. As others have said, you have to look closer to home to find out your real problems in terms of bringing through players. Unfortunately it can be argued you are still a diddy club off the pitch. Portacabin for a club shop anyone? Window salesman as director of football? Former basketball clown as chief executive? And Ronnie Duncan? You're right, we are so terribly run it's embarrassing. All our board have managed to do in the last three years is put together a promotino winning side, negotiate our way into the SPL, strike a deal to get us back to Inverness, build a stadium in record time, secure hundreds of thousands of pounds for managers leaving onlyto replace them with better, more successful ones and secure more funding for the club, all while maintaining SPl status. It's a ******* disgrace - sack the board! :008: :015: Of the ex-County players at our club most were released by County - Roy McBain, Stuart Golabek and Richie hart certainly were, while Graham Bayne wasn't offered a new contract. Watching these guys play in the SPL must be a bind to the County fans, especially when they have had to watch the likes of McGarry and Hannah instead :015:
  19. I had thought we might have seen Vigurs on the bench this season. He played a bit for Elgin in the Third division which is a big thing as the physical side of the game and the 'edge' will be much more than in the SPL reserves.
  20. Called up to the Scotland U19s. Official site
  21. County fans thoughts
  22. Ian Black is contracted beyond the summer so can't sign a pre-contract.

    Rory

Rory hasn't had the best of times but yesterday he was absolutely immense, I thought he was our best player. He was energetic, he played some superb passes, he linked reasonably well with Bayne considering they haven't played together much, he created chances and went past opponents and wasn't scared to have a shot. Yesterday could be a turning point for the lad - I remember when Rosscoe first joined up he was a big awkward lump but given time he developed. Maybe Rory could do the same - the guy has been selected for the Scotland U19s and has been a regular scorer in the reserves. I, for one, hope he builds on his display and silences the boo-boys.
  24. With both Dargs and Denzil out with dislocated shoulders we need someone in to provide cover for our strikers. Charlie just said in his post-match interview we will look to get someone in before Wednesday night. Who should we buy? Liam Buchanan?
  25. Absolutely gutted to lose that game. We deserved to take at least one point, in the second half we were the better side and even towards the end of the first half we did well. Poor defending for both Celtic goals really - both should have been cleared before they had a chance to get a shot in but that's football I suppose. Superb header from Graham bayne who is developing into a real asset for us. I was also very impressed with Rory McAllister who got a chance to stake a claim. He showed very good touches and was menacing towards the Celtic back line for the 80 odd minutes he got, with Wyness and Dargs both out with dislocated shoulders he should get a chance, although we do need cover.
