When is Gillet actually back?
And it's not just Gillet, where on Earth are Innes and Blumenshtein? Are they still here?

- Mark McGhee has left the building
I see some of the Aberdeen fans have heard that it's going to be Brewster. Oh God please let it be true!- Mark Wright
So is Mark Wright a TV character or a real person?- Brewster Quits County
Which then seemed to magically heal up when he went to County!- Mark McGhee has left the building
Tango man being a bit of a hun was his downfall.... Sir Alex was ex-Rangers too, but they don't see such a problem with that for some reason......- 2018 World Cup
I hope Qatar doesn't get 2022.- When is Gillet actually back?
True, but a fit Gillet would certainly get on the bench.- When is Gillet actually back?
Yes absolutely.- Mark McGhee has left the building
Just had a look at the Aberdeen forum and one poster named "3points" had this to say about Butcher - I spoke to Terry the monday after our huge celtic defeat and i asked him if he would fancy the Aberdeen job and he said "no manager with old firm connections should manage Aberdeen" but he also said that it would be hugely rewarding for anyone to gain success at pittodrie. Now possibly money (which we don't have) could change his mind but after hearing that i am 99% sure he will never manage AFC. I have posted this info a couple of times before but have never stated that i spoke to him direct (name dropping and all that) but i swear this to be true and this is one name we can stroke off that lengthy short list.- Mark McGhee has left the building
Exactly. Rangers are the only Scottish club he'd leave for, though I do think he would be tempted by a Championship-ish level side. Ipswich being unquestionably the main one.- West Ham troucing Man U!
Cause Ferguson sees the League Cup as an unimportant trophy and thus feels it would be better to give reserve players a shot, rather than risk injuring his main players in pursuit of an unimportant trophy. He's done it for years.- The ICT Managers Job
I'm pretty sure that Sutton was interviewed and the board then thought he wasn't experienced enough to keep the club up. Knox was also interviewed but didn't fancy moving so far north IIRC. He may or may not have been offered the job, I'm not quite sure. Also on the subject of Coyle, I recollect reading a while ago that he turned down a "number" of SPL job while at St. Johnstone. I think it's safe to say that ICT were probably one of those clubs. ICT also "approached" Malpas and Paul Hegarty to be the new management team in 2004.- Players We Were Linked With Tried To Sign XI
I'm sure Michael Mols was linked with ICT a few years ago.- The ICT Managers Job
The other thread about ICT's nearly signed players earlier got me thinking, besides ICT's actual managers, who has actually been offered the managers job but turned it down over the years? According to Duncan Shearer's book, he was offered the job when it became clear that Paterson was off to Aberdeen. Ally McCoist was offered the job and turned it down due to family reasons and Donald Park turned it down, cause he preferred to be assistant (I might also be right in saying also that he turned it down more than once). Are there any others over the years that people can think of? Was Warnock ever offered the job outright or was that just merely speculation? Was Owen Coyle ever physically offered it? What about Archie Knox? Any others anyone can think of?- Players We Were Linked With Tried To Sign XI
Simon Mensing was also linked at one point IIRC. He might of been quite good actually.- Players We Were Linked With Tried To Sign XI
Who'd be the manager for this team? Neil Warnock, Ossie Ardiles, Owen Coyle maybe?- Players We Were Linked With Tried To Sign XI
Adriano Pellegrino was on trial here in the pre-season 2004/05. He's at Perth Glory with Robbie Fowler now. They're also now managed by Ian Ferguson. He apparently also had trials with Celtic and Motherwell last season. Brewster also bid for Calum Elliot in his second spell. Oh no..wait...- Players We Were Linked With Tried To Sign XI
I'm pretty sure CC was after Noel Hunt at one point.- Rossco
Who played for Fort William and when? John MacDonald played for Fort William before playing for ICT (though was a trialist so that doesn't count apparently )!- Rooney Question
- Rooney Question
Ah but the difference is though, that Bennett and CC & JD were never official ICT managers (obviously discounting CC's later appointment), while MacDonald was an official ICT player who scored official ICT goals in official ICT games.- Rooney Question
To this day, ICT's former player with the second best strike rate is a guy named John MacDonald. He has a strike rate of 1 in 2. Only Iain Stewart has a better record!- Celtic fans
I've noticed it as well. At the 6-0 game a couple of months ago I noticed that at just random periods the whole stadium would clapping nothing in particular. I tried to see if it was for a great pass or a fan favourite warming up or something, but it wasn't - it was a bit bizarre.- BREWSTER FOR COUNTY PETITION
So is he a good appointment then? Can't say I know that much about him. - Mark McGhee has left the building
