Signings For Next Season
Apparently Mihadjuks's contract has just expired at Ventspills. Should ICT make a move? Aye. Will they? Naw. Would Mihadjuks sign up? Hmm.

Dennis Wyness and Mo Camara
No to Wyness please. He was atrocious in his second spell. I remember him playing up-front a few times with McAllister and it was literally like playing the 4-4-0 formation. He's absolutely hopeless these days. On Camera, I'm led to believe he makes Lionel look like Roberto Carlos, no matter how many caps he has.

Boca Juniors v River Plate
My favourite bit was when he shouted "GGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL"! Even during the penalty kicks!

Quite. Nothing at all to do with the fact that he just plain can't do anything against the smaller teams? Not really, "arrogance" seems to be the main reason for those who dislike him from what I've read and who I've spoken to.- team for Airdrie
Fair point, but I believe that if Barrowman was given a better run of games than what he has had and was played in the correct manner, he and Foran could create a very powerful forward line.- team for Airdrie
Cause I didn't think he was very good on Monday. I see you also have Proctor at right and left back. He must be some player to be able to do that!- Imrie
Let's put things into context here. Some fans despise Imrie, due to nothing more than allegations of "arrogance", yet up until last season, ICT regularly had Phil McGuire playing in the squad - a man convicted of assaulting his wife. So in these fans minds it's a view of: "Arrogance, that's disgraceful, but wifebeating, hey no problem!". Just shows some of the priorities of some of these dimwits. And where does it end? These are the same supporters who booed Rory McAllister, booed Michael Fraser, booed Robert Eagle, booed Andy Barrowman, booed Lionel Djebi-Zadi and have now set their witchhunt on one Douglas Imrie. And for what? Nothing more than silly, immature pettiness. Also bear in mid that this same section of fans thought that Dean McDonald was a messiah, cause he waved at them. Just shows on the whole the intelligence of some of these demented, idiotic morons.- team for Airdrie
Esson Proctor Bulvitis Munro Djebi-Zadi Hayes* Cox McBain Imrie Foran Barrowman * - If Hayes is injured put Tokely in there. Subs - Allison, Rooney, Odhiambo, Tokely, Sanchez/Duncan/Eagle- ICT -V- Motherwell : Matchday Thread
I don't dislike Rooney, if you look back through my posts, you'll see I've complimented him and included him in a my "Team for" line up, many times. Yesterday, he wasn't in the game whatsoever.- ICT -V- Motherwell : Matchday Thread
Aye, I think you've forgot to turn on your brain this morning. Grow up little boy.- ICT -V- Motherwell : Matchday Thread

Oh dear someone forgot to turn this brain on this morning.- ICT -V- Motherwell : Matchday Thread
Tonight's performance for me was decent. ICT looked organised, and I was surprised at just how poor Motherwell looked at times. They looked no better than some of teams I've seen in Division 1 this season. Esson and the rest of the back for were very good on the face of things, were very good defensively though they could with more practice on their distribution at times. Tokely at left back was a bit of a strange one and he had a quiet game by his standards but still did quiet well. In the midfield, Cox looked productive, while Duncan had a rather quiet game (whilst also giving the ball away a couple of times). Foran was fairly quiet too, but again wasn't bad but did seem to play very deeply, especially in the second half. Hayes was very good in the time he was on, and it was a shame when he was replaced but he must've been injured. Imrie was excellent throughout, an extremely hard worker and took his goal well. Nice celebration too :022: . I thought Sanchez did okay, as was Eagle when he came on. And then there's Rooney. He did nowt for 90 minutes, is slower than a week in solitary confinement and at times just didn't look interested. Overall a good result for ICT, but they need wins like that in the First Division first and foremost.- Tokely at Left Back
So Tokely was at left back tonight. How do you think he did? Personally, when I first saw him lining up there I thought it was going to be somewhat of a disaster, but he did all right. On the whole, he did have a rather quiet game by his standards and at times did seem to want to cut inside obviously due to the fact he wasn't on his natural side, but on the whole he wasn't bad. What did you make of Tokely in that position?- ICT -V- Motherwell : Matchday Thread
Aye, apparently it's 1-0 already, a Lionel bullet header!- The ones that got away?
According to the BBC gossip column on the Text, it says that Pellegrino is coming over to this country soon to have a trial with Celtic.- James McCarthy
I also thought that, it wasn't just us that thought that though, Billy stark had him down as one of the best younsters in scotland in the paper a couple of months back. it is clear that we only play players that are on a wage at this club. If he was that good then surely there would have been bigger teams in for him when we released him. Not that big a loss for me and cant see him going onto bigger and better things Really? But then again, you do seem to be one those posters that think Butcher is the greatest thing to happen to ICT ever... Whilst location is a big factor in why sides like Hamilton do so well, I have thought myself that perhaps at times ICT have cast the net too far to look for players. There must surely be one or two local guys, perhaps even in the Highland League, who have potential, and with perhaps a bit of training could make the step up to this level.- James McCarthy
I always thought (as did many others) that Iain Vigurs was ICT's big prospect. Unfortunately Butcher didn't agree. - Malky Thomson
