  1. While it looks like only a matter of time before he does sign, at this moment he hasn't officially done so yet.
  2. What's this about some Canadian guy who funded a trip to Dingwall to see if he could get a trial at County as it was his dream? Imagine your dream being to have a trial at County! God almighty! Also, I have to echo some of the comments earlier about OTB. I never noticed it much before they got promoted, but especially this season, some of the poster's obsession with ICT has become very weird. Some posters on there (especially one named 'FrankTheTank') seem to talk about nothing else but ICT, while others seem to be absolutely seething at us. They even think that any negative posters have to be, and I quote, an ICT troll! I even saw a while back someone saying that the shadows talk was cringeworthy, before launching into a big rant about 'mongrels' and 'sewer rats'. One even made a list of why County were bigger than ICT that included the fact that we'd been relegated from the SPL and they hadn't!
  3. The Courier article today suggests that Danny Devine is keen to sign a new deal. Interestingly, it also says that Tarmo Kink has not signed officially at this moment.
  4. I heard somewhere he's been very poor for Elgin. Strange, as I thought he had potential if he was played up-front and not wasted out wide.
  5. Eh? No Christie in the stating XI?! Don't think he's played that well in the last two games.
  6. Not a striker, but I see the young Aberdeen midfielder Craig Storrie is out of contract at the end of the season. I remember seeing him for the Scotland in the Victory Shield at the Caley Stadium a couple of years back and he looked really good. I think he'd be worth a punt actually, still only 19.

I've never understood why you can have the old style terracing in in the lower league but not in the top tier. Especially after some of the 'bigger' teams have been down there. What's a bigger match: a cold Tuesday night match between ICT and Kilmarnock with 2,500 in attendance or a sold out Edinburgh Derby title decider at Tynecastle. One allows standing and the other doesn't. Madness. If standing areas are so bad, why do they allow them at concerts?
  8. It wasn't our biggest ever. Niculae went to Dinamo Bucharest for £250,000(ish).
  9. Esson Raven Draper Meekings Shinnie Tansey Williams Doran Ross Watkins Ofere Subs - Mackay, Devine, Ferguson, Polworth, Kink, Christie, Tremarco
  10. Might be an idea to move Draper into the defence at the expensive of Devine (who was rubbish on Saturday). Might be an idea to have a bit of height in there to combat Nade.
  11. James Vincent scored a penalty in his first game against St Mirren. Duncan Shearer scored on his debut as well, as did Andy Barrowman. Chris Hogg also scored his only goal for us on his debut.
  12. Well I'll be the first to admit that I don't know who he is! Scored 24 times in 85 games for Malmo according to Wikipedia though which isn't a bad return. Seems to have been in the wilderness since then mind. He was linked with a move back to Malmo in January as well apparently. Good to see a player with a bit of height brought in as well.
  13. Did you ever think that maybe Watkins is staying and Hughes is turning him into a striker so then we would need a winger. When we have the likes of Danny Williams, Nick Ross, Aaron Doran and even Ali Sutherland at a push, do you really think we need another winger? This^ Did you ever think that maybe Watkins is staying and Hughes is turning him into a striker so then we would need a winger. The thing is though, is I'm not convinced Watkins is a striker. He tries hard and all that and he's alright to fill in for now, but I don't think relying on him for the rest of the season is the way to go. I think I also prefer him out wide as well. Interesting comments on Prince Rajcomar of Curacao and Tarmo Kink being signed up. Seemingly the Serbian boy is only 19 so one would ordinarily presume he'd be more our type of player. Guess he mustn't have impressed then.
  14. Hughes seemed to suggest recently that there was a few targets who fell through, most likely from pricing themselves out. The comments earlier seem to suggest that he would have at least crossed Hughes' mind but for one reason or another didn't sign him. I wouldn't at all be surprised if he wanted a fairly big wage as well. Would he have been a good signing? He may well had have. Would he have scored goals? He might have. Then again though, he might be well past it. He often did have a weight and effort problem as well at times if I remember right as well. What we really need now is an out and out striker. For the life of me I can't understand this Tarmo Kink move at all. Everywhere seems to suggest he's a winger, which we've got more than enough of.
  15. Esson Raven Devine* Meekings Tremarco Draper Tansey-------Christie Ross-------------------------Williams Shinnie Subs - Mackay, Polworth, Horner, Sutherland, Ferguson, Brown, Baptie *If Devine is out, move Draper to centre-back and bring Polworth on. Stick Hoban onto the bench as a third keeper (he travels anyway so may as well take the spot).
  16. Looking up to see what other fans thought of Kink and this was interesting - http://www.wfcforums.com/archive/index.php/t-41104.html?s=ca6bc3ad4d463697427fc082eb987da3 We often hear about the camaraderie and all that stuff, doesn't sound like our type of character if that post is correct. Also, most of the research I've done seems to suggest that of late he's more of a winger/attacking midfielder than a striker. I wouldn't have thought he'd be the type of player we'd be needing at this time.
  17. Absolutely right. I'm starting to get quite bored of this constant "they hate us", "the commentators/press/referees are biased against us", "we were last on Sportscene cause they hate us" clap trap that permeates from ICT fans whenever something doesn't go our way. Some people are starting to sound like OF fans and it's fast becoming cringeworthy and tedious in the extreme.
  18. Dunno why you're all so angry about the ref, according to the The Sun he had a cracking game! Seriously though, that'd be funny if it wasn't so tragic.
  19. They're hardly 'old fashioned' positions. 'Old fashioned' ones are terms like half-back, outside-left and inside-right etc.
  20. I've always felt wing-back was the term for players like Shinnie and Tokely before him. Going forward and staying forward and are good at threatening the goal themselves. Attacking full-backs would probably suit Raven and Tremarco as they get forward but more in support and then retreating afterwards. My understand of the term 'defensive wingers' is that these are players in the wing position, who press the opposing full-back and then hold up the ball for teammates to get forward. Similar to the role Foran played in the First Division.
  21. If he played for Germany or Argentina, you might have a point but just because one is an international (for a place he wasn't born in) doesn't mean he's a de facto world beater! Prince Rajcomar plays for Curacao who are ranked 160th in the world, below such world beaters as Kyrgyzstan, Bangladesh, Liechtenstein and the Faroe Islands and only slightly ahead Laos and Guam! I much preferred you when you were throwing your toys out the pram and going mental to be honest!
  22. No harm really. We never use all five slots anyway for some reason.
  23. I believe so but it's at the expense of one of the allocated overage players.
  24. Here's another one: Which player has tallied up the highest amount of appearances for ICT but had the shortest amount of game time (if that makes sense!)? Got to be between Rory McAllister and Shane Sutherland I'd have thought.
  25. Ever thought of any weird ICT-related questions but were too afraid to ask? Stick them here! We'll see how many we can answer as well. Here's a couple of mine: When was the last time an ICT player missed a game with work commitments? In our first season, the former Rangers and Fort William striker John MacDonald scored for us at Hampden in a win against Queen's Park. The thing is though, he was a trialist and never officially signed for us. Was he the last ever trialist to score for the club in an official competitive match?
