  1. Used to love this in 'Shoot'... http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/nov/22/juan-mata-chelsea#_
  2. ...and another thing. How is it that one team is automatically awarded 3/4 of a ground in a national cup semi-final? (I am aware of the relative fan base but on the odd occasion they woke up it was, to all intents and purposes, a home game for them.) Nuts.
  3. Worst. Refereeing. Performance. Ever. That's all...
  4. "William It Was Really (3) Nothing" ?
  5. Very pleasing
  6. "The sometimes lengthy travel between games takes some getting used to. So do the referees." The referee comment is quite interesting. Are they that different from UK?
  7. Wanderer replied to Philip's topic in Caley Thistle
It was always my understanding that CTO policy was not to allow standing while posting. Although on some threads it was a more relaxed policing strategy I'm not sure if it's strictly enforced on this one. Hope you're not in trouble Clacher.
  8. It's the 'middle 8' post-split that is going to eventually unravel this model. Clubs doomed to drop into the middle 8 will start preparing for it by trialling fringe players and keeping their better players free of injury. Other clubs (other than the one they are playing) will start complaining that the doomed clubs are not playing their strongest team. Eventually Celtic will lose out on a championship because "Inverness had all these easy games in November to January...b'jesus they were gifted the points". SPL will hold an enquiry and agree with them and so it goes on...
  9. Best thing that ever happened. 1) TB gets a nice extension to his contract... 2) Players see a commitment from the gaffer and agree new contracts... 3) European adventures become the norm...
  10. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01pmc9z/Only_an_Excuse_2012/ 16min 25 secs...
  11. Being blatantly filmed at a football match that - in the grander scheme of things - must be negligible on 'incident' potential is a pathetic waste of police resources. Ever since I got filmed in Inverness (sitting next to a scary CaleyD with his subversive A4 poster) at the time of the Brewster shoe-gate attrocities I realised security at Scottish Football lacked any sense of proportion or professional integrity, let alone customer care in respect of the 'paying public'. It's why I hate visiting TCS. And I'm a shareholder.
  12. Pity it's that dreary git Miller doing OAM...
  13. Leaf it Scotty...he's not worth it!
  14. I'd be particularly chuffed if Doran got an award...but I can't see any official announcement anywhere. Were MFR speculating or confirming?
  15. OUTSTANDING!!!!! GIRUY Craig Brown..."we'll be top by Christmas"...I'm laughing in your general direction...
  16. Outstanding devotion...worth an honourable mention in IHE's 'xmas roundup of the year'...
  17. Sometimes it's hard to figure out these daft number plates but I'd narrow it down to being either Graeme Shinnie's dad or Andrew Shinnie's dad. Maybe somebody else could confirm.
  18. Great job today. Well chuffed. Top half finish starting to be a real possibility. Well done players and management...
  19. When I worked in insurance in the 80s there was a fabulous tale going around that someone had claimed on their home policy that their rear garden had spontaneously combusted...the heat causing a stash of golf balls to fire randomly into the next door garden where an unsuspecting loitering teenager just happened to...
  20. OK, just for you, this Saturday I've re-arranged the fixture list...we're playing Celtic (you wouldn't believe how difficult that was to arrange at short notice). The tinks match is next Saturday. No excuses now!
  21. Will it be posted on ICTFC TV for overseas punters to view? BBC inaccessible.
  22. Superb. Really chuffed. Could've been a banana skin but even minus Foran they got the job done. Congrats to all.
