  1. Nine goals Govan Jaggie, nine goals. Just as well we were there to keep you right.

  3. How bad was Lionel yesterday...............probably his worst game ever for us. Constantly trying to be too clever and losing the ball, always taking one touch too many, one turn too many and probably one game too many. You had to see the game to believe it, we were all over Killie for half an hour, and then the roof caved in. First half chance for them, Esson not looking too clever at the goal as he was caught in no mans land as the ball was simply lifted over his head and into the empty net. The defenders were culpable as well as Bully never attacked the ball. Second goal just took away any hope we had. The third goal was incidental and went unnoticed by our fans as we were too busy serenading Tangoman. The young fans take a bashing some times for their choice of phrases, but yesterday they were absolutely fabulous. Best 3-0 defeat I have ever witnessed. The singing clapping and dancing overshadowed the football, and rightly so. Don't forget, we also had enough chances to win six games, but Cammy Bell was in great form, especially the save from Forans volley. However, highlight of the day was definitely Jimmy says aye to a Killie pie. Well done fans.

Just home, my voice is a bit creaky.............what a great day out, pity about the score. Well done to everyone for the singsong, and the conga, just absolutely brilliant guys, take a bow.

The Hamilton incident, if I remember correctly was during the game against Clyde, he assaulted a player with a huge fencepost and then jumped up and down on his head whilst poking his eyes out with his thumbs. The chap reqired emergency treatment after being rushed to hospital, but he recovered. Heres a more accurate report The Hamilton v Clyde match in the First Division was abandoned with the score 3-3 after a serious injury to a Hamilton player who had treatment for a neck injury on the pitch for 20 minutes until an ambulance drove onto the playing surface to take him to hospital. Players on both sides were upset and after consulting the two club chairmen, the referee abandoned the game. It is likely to be replayed on Tuesday. heres a BBC link.
  12. Jeez, if you don't mine me saying so DC, you are the most negative person I have ever encountered. Practically every thread that you join you simply slag off what someone has said or what some people are trying to achieve. Lighten up man, you are depressing me. Yes it was only a cup win, but at the time, it was the biggest Scottish cup upset of all time, and probably still is. Your glass is always half empty, no matter what. Have a read over your last fifty posts and see if there is any hope for you. All scotty has done is stick on a wee note to make people aware of this, and true to form, you are straight in with a mump and moan. Sort yersel man.
  13. Threw away a golden chance to win the third set, but overall Fed was just too good.
  14. Looks to me that Federer is just a step ahead of Murray at the moment, tremendous change of pace and accuracy from Federer should see this over pretty briskly.
  15. The juggernaut is definitely slowing down. Another three points gone today thanks to our neighbours. They must have one of the poorest records in Scotland over the last few games. One win in their last five games, and that against the run of play over the Pars. Not Champion stuff at all.
  16. Oh dear, some clown even gave Sanchez a point.
  17. Glad to get the three points despite making hard work of it. The penalties, mayby's aye, mayby's no. Rooney hit the first one too straight and Tuffey deflected it high over the bar. Fair play to Rooney for slotting the second one in the bottom corner no problem. We looked uncomfortable in defence all afternoon with the ball ricocheting around more times than I was comfortable with and Partick also hit the bar after one of these skirmishes when Buchanan hit the bar from ten yards. Still, we hung on in there and prbably just edged it.
  18. The guy hit the shot early and Esson was caught flat footed Sh*t happens, decent goal as was ours, no blame attached.

  20. Only two hours, the mans flagging, get him a pint for Gods sake.
  21. Just look at these forums, we could start a fight in an empty room.
  22. I would imagine the game will go ahead with the knowledge that uncle Albert is getting stuck into the snow. There is around an inch of snow lying on frosty ground. I would have thought that the undersoil heating would have taken care of it, maybe just wanting the snow cleared to stop more water bogging down the surface. Untreated roads will be dodgy this morning though, take care.
  23. Well done Glen Mhor, he is a new one on me but well worth a listen.........thats not a band by the way, great tune. I'll go for a bit of John Mayall, with his bluesbreakers of course cheers
  24. Hey JB, are you using your laptop to clear the snow....................like me.
  25. Did you mean chicksy dicks
