  1. Please Santa help us get three vital points. The Dandy Dons are massively confident that come 5 pm they will be back at the top of the league which they feel is their right to win. Thanks Santa.
  2. Without losing sight of the first defence, Stirling are actually on a very good run of form currently. Let no one get distracted from the fact that we have in recent years struggled against teams in other leagues let alone our own!
  3. I recall being in Stirling when Inverness Caledonian took a beating after eliminating the 'Championship' leaders in the previous round? 1989-90 2 GALA FAIRYDEAN A 2-2 2r GALA FAIRYDEAN H 4-1 3 AIRDRIEONIANS A 2-2 3r AIRDRIEONIANS H 1-1 (Inverness Caledonian won 5-4 on penalties) 4 STIRLING ALBION A 2-6 So no more Mr Nice Guy Yogi - we do not want to do a St Johnstone and lose the first defence of the trophy and underestimate this team.
  4. Stokes said he is more interested in playing than money - maybe he could buy out his contract at Celtic and rejoin Yogi.
  5. ''The positive is that I think there are enough teams who are worse than us that we shouldn't be in danger.'' That was Butcher's philosophy at Hibs. We are not too good to be relegated.
  6. Do you know the specific case likely to be put to the player? Until the referee's report is received, and to ensure a fair hearing, the player will get a chance to argue his case with legal or other representation. I believe that this club is fair, will listen, will take specialist advice, and in the end take the right decision based on the player's contract. There will of course be a right of appeal by the player, but not by the club, if the decision is not one accepted by the player. Does anyone remember this legal case? http://www.theguardian.com/football/2004/jun/22/newsstory.sport3 Let's move on and see if we can repeat the result on grass this Saturday without a player who at times actually looked interested in the game at Motherwell when recalled to the team.
  7. Fantastic news for Owen - looked a bit exposed as Arjen Robben raced through for the goal.
  8. An agent can be a solicitor offering simple employment law advice.
  9. What a week for integrity? Oldco Rangers confirmed as involved in massive multi million pound tax evasion. Rangers newco to retain various titles obtained by Oldco Rangers during the dark years (subject to possible appeal in the tax case but if not, SFA revisiting its rules to check if massive tax evasion is a reason to take a sporting integrity decision). Yogi disciplined for being honest.
  10. Ross County start clear favourites. Roy has invested heavily in the club in the last 12 months so this will be a massive challenge for us.
  11. ICT V Ross County!! Honest
  12. Celtic away with Meekings scoring a dubious winner off his shoulder.
  13. Job done!
  14. Aberdeen Manager in secret talks to sign more ICT players!!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34299512
  15. Very impressive talent and a demonstration of a down to earth individual. Let's hope he can update the Mona Lisa with a Moaner Loser after McInnes post match interview today.
  16. This is a big week for ICT starting with the League Cup game and for Livi a cup upset will boost their morale. For ICT it is must win game. On Saturday it will be a great honour to welcome the Dons to our modest stadium and our supporters should give not only Graeme a round of applause as they take the field but their whole team. Since Considine pushed Richie away from a simple headed winning goal for ICT in the League Cup Final, with minutes to go, the Dandy Dons have gone from strength to strength. Last year we gave them significant points. For the North East now it is a privelege to see them leading the table by such a margin and we should acknowledge that. Derek McInnes is a brilliant Manager................
  17. It looks like Yogi is being charged with being honest.
  18. Phearts - the true storey Before “The boys are all good, feel fresh, ready to go to Inverness and go for the three points,” Neilson told the Evening News. “It’s a good game to have but any game is a good game to have after Hamilton..............we’re in good shape going up to Inverness.” After ROBBIE NEILSON admits Hearts got a wake-up call in Inverness last night and warned his players they must fight much harder for points in the Scottish Premiership. Neilson said he refused to get carried away by the impressive start because he knew difficult times would come. Message to ICT Never, ever underestimate the opposition. Dundee United will be extremely dangerous this weekend and one win against a cocky young Hearts Manager was just a start.
  19. Was Anthony Stokes not a little younger and just as unknown when Yogi introduced him to the SPL?
  20. For those getting on the back of Dani Lopez plus Yogi (as early as August)...................... ......................4 Dec 2011 'Going nuts at McKay on his first start over nothing in particular was unnecessary. McKay seems to have something and came into it a lot more as the game went on, but I feel that, as he is more of a Dargo type striker, could do with someone up there with him - he ain't the type to play the lone frontman role.' A short time later he scored and became a hero. He later became a lone frontman and then went onto play for his country.
  21. Left sided, hungry, a point to prove. Welcome back.
  22. This has to be the most inspirational photograph of a club captain for some time.
  23. We also need a hellava lot more people to attend matches to pay for some of the dreams supporters have after last seasons amazing success on a very tight budget. Austerity - look at the crowds Celtic, Dundee United and Hearts had over the weekend!1
  24. Having now seen the incident on the BBC highlights it does look like a dreadful two footed block tackle by Pearson. However, there is no obvious intent to cause injury but in the cold light of day it should have been red.
