  1. Not good news so good luck to Gary and his recovery. It was over in a split second and his inability to get up pointed to a stress injury given the impact. In terms of blame, it should be made clear that Pearson, who was booked for the tackle, and also injured, made a point of speaking to ICT players and officials regarding Gary's welfare.
  2. Last year we played this way with few injuries and much success. This year we started competitive action much earlier. That nor 'the passing game' was probably not a factor behind Warren's injury. Probably not Tremarco, Foran, and Vincent too because they have hardly played so far. Aaron's injury neither. So where is the evidence? Was it Meekings who seemed to pick up or exacerbate a knock against St Mirren?
  3. Potentially a brilliant signing. Rooney, Hayes, Watkins, Shinnie, McKay, and Offere have all played their part in our history but we move on and redevelop.
  4. Same as last year - not to get relegated and see what happens. Then sign up a team for 2016/17 to compete in a very competitive SPFL assuming Rangers are back up.
  5. Realistically Billy was sold because he was not scoring and in 20 months hardly found the net. Consequently he has lost his NI squad place. Today we should be massively proud of every player and official of ICT. They gave their all.
  6. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/683506 Yogi did say the players would enjoy it because we have not had a summer.
  7. Looks like we need to play in red shorts and socks!! Keeper may be nervous after that performance. Doran used to score goals like the third. Meekings on long throws could be potent. That said, our defence needs to be solid.
  8. West Ham, 4-1 home defeat, Richie scores - great motivators - we can but hope.
  9. To me a 1-0 away win is achievable. Extra time and penalties might be needed but ICT never do things the easy way. Astra probably left feeling the clapping we gave them at the end indicated they were through and ''well done''. Achieving a 1-0 result involving Inverness CT has actually been achieved by Yogi and Brian Rice before!!! ''A WHOLLY relieved Falkirk manager John Hughes was able to ruminate on his team "coming through the mire" after the Inverness win that allowed them to avoid falling out of a top flight they had seemed incapable of gaining a foothold in not so long ago. Victory yesterday meant Hughes, the subject of a letter from supporters' trust members demanding his removal a month ago, could subtly remind critics just how acceptable the campaign has proved to be. "We reached the League Cup semi-final, we are in the final of the Scottish Cup, which we have a chance of winning and we are tenth in the SPL", he pointed out. "So there is a chance of this being a right good season for Falkirk. I have to give a special mention to Brian Rice, my No 2. He has stood strongly by my side for the last six years. The players have a tremendous amount of respect for him and I have to say that one's for him." http://www.scotsman.com/sport/inverness-ct-0-1-falkirk-highland-fling-ends-with-a-fall-1-1353034
  10. Richie Foran gives Inverness fitness boost ahead of Astra tie http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33545884 Inverness are expecting close to a full house for the first leg with the side that finished fourth in the Romanian league and drew at home to Celtic in the group stage last season.

  14. http://www.wigantoday.net/sport/wigan-athletic/altrincham-1-wigan-athletic-1-1-7358968 Billy is now motivated to fight for his Wigan place!!!
  15. I believe Deano is out for a while and as we saw when he was re-injured the healing process could take some time. We do need a more experienced back up keeper to Ryan in case his form dips or he gets injured.
  16. Newtown overcame Valletta to earn a Europa League second-round tie against FC Copenhagen. Jason Oswell repeated his first-leg scoring efforts in Malta. Craig Williams's cross gave Oswell the chance to give Newtown the confidence boost of a crucial opening away goal. Juan Gill's foul on Oswell to earn Newtown a penalty and after Owen's shot was halted, he made the most of his second chance to herald jubilant scenes among visiting fans and players.
  17. Will Ross County be challenging Aberdeen and Dundee this season to take on Celtic?
  18. I can see why Nick needs a fresh start and like Graeme we wish him well. The goal he scored against Hearts when we were down to 9 men will always be one of our great memories.
  19. http://www.gsp.ro/international/europa-league/marius-niculae-a-anuntat-care-ar-fi-cea-mai-mare-problema-a-astrei-in-duelul-cu-inverness-va-fi-un-impediment-452416.html Monday, June 22 Astra Giurgiu will play in the 2nd round of the Europa League with Scottish band Inverness Caledonian team that played and Marius Niculae . The striker has offered few details about Scottish band and gives them the first chance Giurgiu in dispute with the Scots. "I think that Astra will have the first chance. Romanians have a better team than Inverness. The value of our championship is over what is in Scotland. The wind will be an impediment for Astra, but I hope that does not happen," said Marius Niculae the DolceSport. 8 goals scored Marius Niculae in the 35 matches played for Inverness
  20. Brilliant IHE. Question for you - what was the Policewoman's name who gave you her bonnet?
  21. Tarmo has played 86 international games. In the last season, he had little game time prior to signing for ICT. After joining he found it was like a lot of players who were unable to force their way into the team. With the training he has so far done with the club and some pre-season, this will give him a better base. In the 'training' game against Celtic just prior to the cup final, he was basically played as a centre forward for 70 minutes. That was not an easy task but he worked very hard. I for one hope he does sign because he can offer us a significant threat once he gets more game time. Last year as I have said is now history. We start at square one and Tarmo is a good signing if made.
  22. Looks spot on. Agent Shinnie helps ICT win Scottish Cup. Aberdeen, living in the past, get jealous. Aberdeen set off in 2015/16 season with expectation of beating Celtic to the Championship, winning Scottish Cup and retaining League. ICT set off with realistic ambitions - surviving another tough year in SPFL. Doing best in other three cup competitions but being relistic. Result - Agent Shinnie reached peak with ICT and Aberdeen unable to live up to fan expectations.
  23. The current season is now history and we have no idea how things will pan out next year. It is not beyond the bounds of possibility that Nick, Aaron and Eddie might make a great front three with Ryan, Danny and others being part of various permutations. Nick may well end up as a fixture at ICT like he was before his shoulder injury. I suspect he has a very difficult decision to make.
  24. Here is the BBC prediction on Billy joining Aberdeen http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33027143
  25. Billy's downward spiral continues - dropped from NI Squad. It was his choice to leave.
