  1. Does anyone else think Sunday's game could get a bit messy with Celtic looking to bully the diddy team after their shock 7-0 record European Champions League result?
  2. Clearly a gamble and he probably ran out of gas despite the logo on his shirt.
  3. Those who know how Gunning was injured after signing for Birmingham know that without very strict man management, any contract might be higher risk that with most players. Potentially he is a very good player but he certainly has had problems since his first move from Dundee United. That said, ICT like to pride themselves on helping players and sometimes managers or assistants rehabilitate their careers.
  4. Celtic's progress and multi million pound windfall puts into perspective how small clubs like ICT do well to survive on modest budgets in the SPFL.
  5. The club should initiate a last minute deal fist thing Friday of £20 or £15 although this might annoy those who have already bought tickets but consistent with offloading unsold theatre tickets.
  6. Agreed that the quality of announcements could, and should be improved.
  7. As a reminder, Alloa are a very good cup team and we underestimate them at our peril despite some good results in our first four games. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/scotland/30334887
  8. Caley Thistle midfielder Aaron Doran could make his return to action against Arbroath tomorrow after a year on the sidelines with a knee injury. (Press and Journal)
  9. Ross County have just handed their cup back without a fight!!
  10. County off to a flyer - 1-0 down! Hope we can get a good result tonight to maintain the Highland interest!!
  11. Aaron will be like a new signing too!!!
  12. Owain and the Welsh Squad epitomises what ICT is about - togetherness. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/jun/07/owain-fon-williams-painting-wales-euro-2016 As a minimum we need to welcome him back with the Welsh National Anthem or a Johnny Cash song!
  13. Rangers are being treated like any other club so why should teams expect a minimum of home games against them (and Celtic) or any team? Why do they not complain that 'two home games against Ross County who have a poor travelling support is unfair' or Ross County and ourselves arguing 'not two home games against Hamilton, their travelling support is miniscule'.
  14. Tragic for some one so young and enthusiatic in his job. Major shock. R.I.P. Matty.
  15. Northern Irish defender Danny Devine hopes to decide by Monday whether he is remaining with Inverness Caledonian Thistle after the Scottish Premiership club offered the 23-year-old a new contract. (Daily Record, print editio
  16. Inverness Caledonian Thistle have released Jordan Roberts after the Scottish Premiership club decided against taking up the option of extending the 22-year-old midfielder's contract by another year. (Daily Express, print edition)
  17. His cup goal against Motherwell was fantastic-absolutely stunning. Good luck to him because he showed real potential.
  18. http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro/season=2016/teams/team=113/squad/index.html Three Astra players in the squad.
  19. Motherwell have held signing talks with goalkeeper Dean Brill, the 30-year-old who was released by Inverness Caledonian Thistle after a year sidelined by injury. (Daily Record, print edition)
  20. CELTIC1CALEY3 replied to Bronson's topic in Caley Thistle
Still very good money for someone who failed badly at Bolton. So where does Yogi go now - back to painting and decorating?
  21. Let's be fair here, we criticise the governing bodies but this does create significant interest and excitement for up and coming players to impress. It is very innovative but clearly could be quite expensive if say our development team get a draw in the South of Wales or a team there draws Wick Academy.
  22. Wigan Athletic have announced that four players will leave the club when their contracts expire during the summer. The League One champions have confirmed Leon Barnett, Ryan Jennings, Kevin McNaughton and Reece Wabara will be allowed to exit. Midfielders Chris McCann and Jordan Flores are offered new deals. Emyr Huws, Jack Hendry, Billy Mckay, Andrew Taylor, Dan Lavercombe and Danny Whitehead have all been out on loan but will return for pre-season.
  23. It depends when their contracts end....if they are under contract it clearly would still be a pre-contract situation now unless they had signed for their existing club (Lawless?). I am sure not every contract expired on 31 May 2016.
  24. Inspirational epitomising the ICT spirit. Well done.
  25. The SPFL has confirmed its four league competitions begin the 2016-17 season the weekend of Saturday, 6 August 2016. This follows the group stages of the revamped Scottish League Cup, eight groups of five teams playing each other once in a round-robin format in July. This 80-game group stage will involve all 38 teams not involved in Uefa qualifiers, plus winners of this season's Highland and Lowland Leagues. Premiership clubs also enjoy a three-week winter break in January 2017. The full fixture lists for the 2016-17 SPFL league season are expected to be published on Friday 17 June 2016. 20/21 May 2017 is the end of Ladbrokes Premiership season.
