Butcher offski?
We beat Hibs 3-0, then completely underestimate St Johnstone, lose 'bizarrely' to Partick, incur unnecessary bookings in an abandoned game, participate in a brawl that brings us a reprieve but Terry loses the head and is sent to the stand with an ex-Hibee, scrape past Killie then Terry and Mo turn turtle after the BBC seem to know before that game....or did they turn when people were asking why we were going through a sticky spell? Answers on a post card to Maurice Malpass ICT Christmas Quizmaster sorry AN Other Christmas Quizmaster.

Cut the negativity. These guys will not succeed at Hibs. ICT never lies down and history is likely to result with them falling on their swords in a few years time after yet another defeat by ICT. When Rangers return to the top flight in two years time, there will be little room for Hibs to be successful. Even next year Rangers will be a major force in cup competitions. The ICT formula will not work at Hibs. Ross County may well eliminate them from the Scottish Cup this year then what do they play for? A management team driven by short term increased salaries!!

Hopefully this is a brilliant stunt Terry has pulled similar to our disallowed goal against Partick. If not it is certainly putting the skitters up Hibs.net.

Butcher offski?
'.....due to Butcher and ICT not wanting him in the home dugout on Saturday.' You can understand why we do not want him in the home dugout on Saturday. He is in enough trouble after the Dundee United game so drifting over the line of the opponents technical area and sitting in the home dugout would not endear him to Jimmy Nic nor the Hibs fans. It would look funny though.

Butcher offski?
Terry was seen leaving the stadium yesterday afternoon ostensibly heading for Edinburgh. Today the BBC indicate he is in Edinburgh. That might indicate we will hear tonight if he is going or of if he has taken the sensible option and returned to ICT to maximise what he has started.

I think the BBC has got it all wong because I am told Chinese State Television has been broadcasting Terry saying he has agreed tactics for the game on Saturday but is not telling anyone. 61 year old Rick Chung, speaking exclusively from his Wok in Paisley Town, said he was actually confuscius by the position because he no speak any lingo proper. He felt Hibs were actually dim sums. Reporter Dewar, meantime is looking a bit wong kei after peking through the window at Easter Road and concluding that their butcher had agreed terms. Kenny Cameron certainly believes she has got it ho lee wong. Mr Cameron indicated that Miss Dewar was wisky in her report. Let's hope Terry is not gung ho and Billy 'I'm going to break my peking scoring duck this Saturday in Leith' Mackay rises above this episode in our history.

League Cup Semi Final Draw - Hearts!
Eagle4Caley don't count your chickens or eagle chicks just yet. Football is a funny old game. Two difficult games against Dundee opposition does not give us anything more than a massive challenge against a very determined Hearts side.

Dundee United fans
How often do we see people falling over in the street allegedly elbowed or punched? The Dundee United players in general - Rankin and Gauld excluded - were falling about on a regular occurrence seeking some sympathy from the referee. Play acting is a major problem for referees. Billy appears to be getting a bit frustrated but I rarely see our players doing a 'Neil Lennon'. On Tuesday a stack of Dundee United players tried this trick. The Mackay Steven fall was directly in front of Terry - a few feet - and the main stand. It was pure theatre and in my view he was the player who started the brawl. It looks as though he was withdrawn at half time probably to stop his being sent off. As for Cuffki, his armlock and hand in the face to the linesman was so blatant that he should have been given a second red card immediately. However, I think the officials were quite stunned by the whole episode.

League Cup Semi Final Draw - Hearts!
Aberdeen are probably the favorites now. If we get them we might be heading to Easter Road again. If we get Hearts we might head to Pittodrie. If we get St Johnstone that might also be Pittodrie. Aberdeen therefore getting ready to emerge from years of not winning a cup?

The Pitch Invasion
In some ways it was good old common sense but regardless of age, it sets a precedence. We should be awarded the points by default to prevent clubs allowing this to happen in future and for supporters, no matter how old, to make goal line clearances.

Lennon and Juanjo incident revisited
From the BBC "The sending-off is uncalled for and unnecessary. It's very soft. I have looked at it; if there was any contact it was minimal." No that is not from the archive and no it did not originate from the ICT appeal against the Juanjo sending off. In terms of justice, I hope Celtic appeal the Brown sending off. We won our appeal because it was a blatant injustice. Hopefully last night's subtle trip and blatant kick were really blatant injustices. We all know that Brown gets away with quite a lot in the Scottish game. Interesting also to see the Celtic centre half leaning into a Barca player and then giving him a shove. Sooner or later we might see that being punished in the Scottish game. When Doran was bundled over at Celtic Park in the 2-2 draw it looked like a clear foul.

Inverness C.T. -V- Hibernian
After Celtic won 5-2 to take a commanding lead at the top of the league, I rate yesterday's result one of the best in our history. Hibs were in a fine run of form, their front two having scored in all recent games, they had lost the monkey of not winning at the Caley Stadium last year, and were able to play on a top class pitch. ICT deserve a lot of credit for moving on from the Aberdeen defeat, coping with a tough cup tie, and then knowing Celtic had regained top spot so only a 3 goal victory would regain them top spot. Hard work and years of disappointments achieved that result. Having seen Jonny Hayes try and do a Gordon Strachan 'messed up' free kick routine last week, it was actually quite funny seeing Nick hooked yesterday. Steve Marcella was actually mortified. I wonder if Terry apologised especially after this: '' Butcher said: “I was only at Brentford about five minutes and Steve phoned up. I didn’t know him at all but I spoke to one or two people and they said, ‘Take him – he’s an excellent goalkeeper coach and has a great eye for a player as well’. “He travels a lot of miles, he’s an excellent coach and also an excellent scout – and a good friend as well. There have been one or two we haven’t got right but I wouldn’t smack him for being wrong – he’s a big guy and would probably batter me!'' It is always dangerous to receive praise in life!!! Terry probably said to him yesterday ''Hook Ross'' so that is exactly what he did. Terry meant Ross.....Draper so hopefully it ended in smiles for Steve.
