Dundee's next five games Ross County away- three points Inverness away - hopefully nil points Celtic home - not a hope Aberdeen home - three points St Johnstone away - one point So the moral of this story is that when we next play County we must not let them beat us 7-0 in order for Dundee to edge above them in the table. Ross County can at least concentrate on the relegation battle now they are out of both cups.

To be fair to County a defeat to Dundee would create some anxiety over the Bridge. We then entertain them with Nish back after suspension so we would need to be careful. County are drifting into the relegation zone with Celtic to follow Dundee.

The management team and players were fantastic last night. Even the police horses seemed to smile for us as we made a discrete journey back on the Glasgow subway. This was one of the great nights in our history. I do hope the players are rewarded on future Saturdays with more support. Last night the players and management were exceptional. The end of January is a long time to wait for a Semi but for Aberdeen and Ross County the wait is much longer.
