  2. Celtic apparently stayed in 5 star luxury in Kazakstan. In addition they chartered a jumbo with double bed seating according to ITV4 today so will be back in Glasgow early tomorrow. The main problem they have is that they were too cocky today so must now win at Celtic Park on Wednesday 28th or I am sure many of their players will feel the season will have little challenge left. I hope that they now focus entirely on next Wednesday as an absolute must win game or they may lose £20m according to commentators. That said, they sent their reserves out in Inverness last season on their Euro campaign and gave us a doing. He who dares wins this Saturday. Their defence does look vulnerable through the middle.
  3. The is a press release just in from Dingwall explaining County's new long term strategy. It reads 'Derek Adams confirms that his confidence was sky high when a reporter caught up with the Ross County convoy at Ballinluig on the way to their opening day jolly in Glasgow 'It's the opening day of the season, the flag gets unfurled for the champions, and we provide a guard of honour for them.'' However, he admits that after the next game against Partick he confirmed that the game was the lowest in his career in Dingwall. 'Our groundsman cut the grass too low and we could still see the sand!' He has now also confirmed he did indicate last week (quite wrongly as it turned out) that 'Richie Brittain can handle the heat' and then after the crushing defeat after some fisticuffs in the dressing room 'Derek Adams challenges senior players to stop leaking goals.' Derek adds 'After three defeats in a row for the mighty Staggies after a great pre-season jolly to Holland at the millionaire chairman's expense, I said 'Dad, what do I do next?' as I held back the tears. Dad said 'Son, why not play a few games where the grass is always greener.'
  4. What is remarkable about the start is that it looked massively difficult. We will all be pretty sober if Celtic hump us and we underestimate Hearts. It was great to see our modest crowd so supportive of the team. Richie was immense. Let's hope the PF has little to go on.
  5. Barrowman needs to find a real job and learn real work, He has got himself into this position by a lack of graft.
  6. ...with the following lap of honour http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/tony-fridge-super-fit-grandad-tony-2114744
  7. Irish Adaptation Hey you, get under my car Who me?Yes you, get under my car Woooooooooh. Wah! Hey Who's that ladyComing down the road Who's that lady Who's that womanWalking through my door What's the score I'll be the sunShining on you Hey CinderellaStep in your shoeI'll be your non-stop lover Get it while you can Your non-stop miracle I'm your man Get outta my dreams Get in under my car Get outta my dream Get in to the back seat baby Get in to my car Beep Beep, yeah
  8. Jon Tuffey in Europe - made sure nobody scored in Belfast!
  9. Leigh Griffiths has the morals and IQ of a Ross-shire rabbit but last year he wos a good footballer!
  10. To sign a good goalie like Antonio, go on a good run like last year, and when we reach the heights, for Terry to avoid interviews with other clubs. To give Hearts a good doing in every game.
  11. A female goal keeper would create financial problems for the SPL. The new governing body would need to apply a new rule that each club had to create a female changing room and showers. It might also create havoc with our Captain's mind!
  12. Well as the end of June arrives, we can assume that an out of contract goalie or two should be heading to Inverness. Does anyone have an inkling? Currently that is our weakest link methinks.
  13. We must ask St Mirren to parade the League Cup prior to the game to get our lads really fired up!
  14. Today could be interesting. If the Court agrees to appoint BDO as administrators at the Court of Session. Tynecastle might then be sold for development purposes to ease UBIG'S losses. In fact I see a headline here 'Heart's uBIG losses - Tynecastle sale'
  15. If they owe VAT on season ticket sales, of £1m to HMRC as reported today, they are doomed. With Kilmarnock supporters trying to oust their Chairman SPL club debt is likely to be a very topical subject pretty soon. How would you feel if you had bought your season ticket and you saw your favourite team sinking deeper into administration or liquidation? How would you feel if you found that same club begging you to buy a season ticket to help it survive? Worthless!! It does not look as though it has long to go before it sinks!! I'm Vlad I support a prudent club.
  16. Good news but we need two keepers as a minimum.
  17. It was Roberts pass to Shane to Billy that should have won us the game at Easter Road. The pass had vision, was precise and was a match winner. Terry will know his motivation levels.
  18. Sign Ian Vigurs!! He loves conducting our singing section.
  19. Why did Ross County allegedly not offer him a new contract? Or did they and his demands were too high? If he does leave them it will be a great pity - he brought the best out of our singers in Dingwall!!
  20. http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/4935049/A-to-Z-with-Inverness-Richie-Foran.html Some tall stories - but funny!
  21. Two good pre season friendlies against European opponents will suit us fine. This season is in the history books and we finished 4th, got to a Semi and 5th Round of the SC. Some achievement on our budget, squad and crowds!!
  22. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-22542640 Not sure but I think Bavidge had it chalked off!
  23. I have to say if Pawlett is found guilty, he should be banned and fined with the rules immediately changed in Scotland so that in future, cheating to secure a material change to a game, results in points being awarded to the aggrieved party. That is the basic damages principle surely in Scot's Law? I have real sympathy with referees. They do not have eyes in the backs of their heads so often miss ''off the ball'' incidents. Equally, being at the wrong angle, can create a wrong impression. I really hope Pawlett is found guilty and then ideally be required by his employers - Aberdeen FC - to justify in public why he did what he did. Brown at Dundee was fully justified in my opinion of his criticism of the decision. If the compliance officer agrees that the referee was cheated alongside Dundee, then Brown could apologise to the referee and vice versa.
  24. But who do we put between the sticks?
