  1. Don't want to see them relegated. As for promotion, well.......I definitely don't want Dundee or Partick promoted. Wouldn't mind Dunfermline being promoted. If County got promoted it would be an easy away day. In other words anyone but Dundee or Partick is what I am saying.
  2. Aye all these "fans" won't know what has hit them as they can't even be arsed going to support their team at home. The journey from Glasgow will seem very long.
  3. So United who are going to be competing in the same league as us next season aren't our rivals. But County who are in league below us ARE our rivals? Hmmmmm. Interesting.
  4. Well said Don.
  5. ??? - very worrying! the sentiment or the spelling? Or both?
  6. good luck to County but I wouldn't be going to support them. I am amazed at the number of County fans that are travelling(!) down - didn't realise Victoria Park held so many people. But seriously, I know quite a few going to the match and you wouldn't need any fingers to count the number of matches they went to between them this season.
  7. I would thoroughly endorse what Kingsmills has just said. Apart from the fascination of following the birth and development of ICT over the years, I have also had the pleasure of reporting on the fairy story which has been Ross County since 1987 when they were ?250K in debt, amateur and working out of a " wooden shed" in Victoria Park, right through to the amazing revelations which we have seen this season. It's almost exactly 17 years since the SFL decided to create two vacancies and on this occasion at least they did the decent thing and let in the two strongest candidates. What ICT and Ross County have achieved in the intervening years has been absolutely amazing and fully justifies their election back in January 1994. Tomorrow's Cup Final is the very last act in what has been a phenomenal season for football in the Highlands. GOOD LUCK COUNTY!! Totally agree with both posters. If we are playing Ross County I want to hammer them just like any other team but in this cup final I support thyem all the way. It is what is known as sporting.
  8. Go for a wee lie down then. Dundee United have never done us any favours in the past and I feel more affinity with a Highland club than one from Dungdee. England will never have ther REAL Rooney cos he is Irish.
  9. I thought he played well for us in his short spell and would be quite happy to see him back
  10. Priceless - we are priceless. For everything else there is mastercard.
  11. no feelings either way. we certainly need more squad players in that area.
  12. That's nice for him. I have been critical of him in the past but think he has come good this season and is now a valuable member of the team.
  13. Anything is possible after what happened yesterday! However I would be content with staying up next season and top six next season. But if we play well - this squad has done really well this year - who knows? Don't think we will win it but we are as good as the majority of teams in SPL so on that basis we might get top six this season. Cmon Inverness.
  14. Keep away from the campervans
  15. Not going but wish County all the best. They have had a disappointing season overall and think they will get beaten but I like to see the wee first division teams do well!
  16. Disappointed that Eagle is being released. He seemed to be coming along well. Bully will be missed but if we sign Pavels that will be okay. Best wishes to Lionel - you may have given me heart failure at times but you were always entertaining.
  17. wouldn't want Fraser back. I remember a howler of a game at Pittodrie a couple of seasons ago in the cup. And everyone must have seen his exploits a few weeks ago. if not will probably see them sometime in the future on a sporting horror show! mark Brown would be an okay no2
  18. No. We picked up as a team when Imrie left. I wish him all the best but would pick Hayes every time.
  19. excellent. another award for ICT
  20. holidays and boozy lunches
  21. buy Ryan Giggs.
  22. Saw Robert Eagle throwing boots into north stand. But he was still wearing boots so wonder if they were maybe Rosscos as he was barefoot at presentation?
  23. Cheers mate. I will be rooting for County in the cup. And it would be great to have 2 Highland teams in the SPL in a years time.
  24. Hearach replied to davieB's topic in Caley Thistle
I was looking at the league table last night and it was fantastic to see the margin by which we won. Nobody can deny that we have deserved promotion - we didn't just scrape home, we romped home. Effing fantastic. What a team - what a manager. We should be vewy vewy pwoud.
