  1. Moving forwards, Draper showed great composure under massive pressure so I'd be happy to see him become our regular taker for a while.
  2. Great day for a club that balances it books and seemingly has to fight against the odds to gain respect from the Scottish football fraternity. Maybe one day the media, authorities and other fans will start to give us the credit we deserve. TogetherNess.
  3. I would not suggest a team yet purely based on how form and injury may chance over the next few wks, but I would hope that Yogi will consider our central defence pairing and at least do a 'trial' run in one or two league games before the final with his desired partnership - harsh on Warren & Meekings but this needs done to ensure we are at our strongest. May also be harsh if we did win a cup with that pair that Warren & Meekings may not just walk back in. For what its worth, I think we may end up with Devine & Foran in central defence.
  4. Easter road, full house - better than 1/2 full glasgow venues IMO.
  5. Maybe go to a game then and you will see how he plays the majority of the time
  6. HT: 0-1 FT: 0-2 1st ICT: Mckay 1st Opp: None Time of 1st Goal: 22 mins
  7. If Richie is even only 70% fit he needs on the bench, bringing him on for the last 10-15mins if required could change the game for us, not just he play but his leadership and drive, so I'd expect Polworth to make way.
  8. Goalkeepers more than any other player are confidence based in performance - we have an established number one who has kept us in many games this year so for me its a no brainer - sentiment doesnt matter.
  9. HT: 0-2 FT: 1-3 1st ICT: McKay 1st Opp: Boyd Time of 1st Goal: 17mins
  10. Wonder is that as cover if they sell Stevie May
  11. Brill Raven Warren Meekings Shinnie Draper Polworth Doran Williams Vincent Mckay Subs - Esson, Devine, Tansey, Watkins, Greenhalgh, Ross, Christie
  12. Agreed, tout him around in the press and sell our best asset, we lack a back up and the ability to score goals from other players. The optomism of the league and cup runs is already starting to evaporate..............I don't mind Billy or any player leaving to play at a better standard for more money, but please wait til the summer and deliver us at least a national final, think about how they got into the position to be made a better offer to start with!!!
  13. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25773674 Not read the Record article, but I hope thats a misquote or out of context - JH cant even be contemplating selling Billy.........can he?
  14. HT: 0-1 FT: 1-1 1st ICT: Doran 1st Opp: McGinn Time of 1st Goal: 32 mins
  15. -------------------Brill------------------- Raven---Meekings----Tremarco---Shinnie -----------Polworth-----Williams----- Doran--------------------------Greenhalgh ------------------Ross------------- ------------------McKay------------------- If Watkins is fit, Id expect him in behind Billy, with Greenhalgh on the bench, Williams on the wing and Nick in the centre with Polworth. I cant see Devine getting picked although I think he should play centre back and there is no way Hughes will drop Nick.
  16. Penalties and direct free kicks we are awful at. No idea who the solution to penalties is, but I wasnt confident of scoring as soon as Nick walked up - no disrepect to him but tking pens is about confidence and attitude and IMO the only player we have in the squad like that is Foran just now, hopefully Vincent when he is back can step up, if not I'd like to see someone like Raven have a blast.
  17. We miss Vincent and watkins to support billy and create. Wonder if Birmingham would give us shinniesta back on loan, his brother is still here plus since leaving he doesn't look likely to get another Scotland cap any time soon.
  18. Not Vine, he was awful when we played Hibs, poor player IMO with a bad discipline record and that beard in itself should be enough to say - NO!!!
  19. HT:1-0 FT: 2-1 1st ICT: Mckay 1st Opp: Gauld Time of 1st Goal: 5 mins
  20. Who cares if it makes any profits, so long as the club breaks even. I just want a national trophy to put it right up the central belt lot who still look down on us and keeps others in our shadows. I'd like to think we will see the effect that county did where a large number of fans went to the scottish cup final (where are they now), with any luck if the same happened, maybe a few of them would start to become ICT regulars :)
  21. Someone posted somewhere on here about Raven still having a knock and begin back to full fitness. If true Hughes has to say it publicly because if not he will gave 3000+ regular fans turning on him for failing to select our strongest players, if he is fit then how long can he persist and not see our current defence isn't helping us win games.
  22. With TB leaving and taking his team he will have probably got a list of targets already lined up and potentially scouted from when they were still here. Do we even have a network at the moment and based on the limited time Yogi has been here can we expect an influx of quality players even if we had the budget? Tying key players to longer deals (Draper) has to be the Jan priority and keeping Billy here. Unless we can get real quality additions for midfield and up front then there is little point if they are going to be no better than what we have as we can play Polworth, Christie and Toby and give youth a chance.
  23. While Celtic may be interested in Fletcher I do think even if thats the cut price fee Sunderland are looking for its more than Celtic will spend plus he will be a wanted man for several relegation fighting EPL teams - he has proven to score goals at that level for clubs that dont create chances.
  24. Consdering the players listed, I'd hope that as Vincent has spent a considerable time injured he may show some loyalty to the club and sign on for another year and i hope the board push to give Draper a new deal, he is developing as a leader on the pitch I think and you can see how playing alongside Foran has helped him this season. As for the other players, none have been spectacular although as we have stuck with Pepper and Cooper i'd hope that they may be considered as good enough players to strat pushing for the first team. But given where we are and that only 1 key first team player is coming out of contract this summer, thats excellent news and shows how the board have put a commitment to the team that was being built.
