Tickets are comparable with any league game home or away for pay at the gate with the addition of reduced concession rates, so in my opinion its a fair level. There may be a wider debate over the pricing of football overall and whether its just to expensive full stop, but in comparison to the current pricing levels for a national final to cost no more than a league game is sensible. As for the number of fans, whether its 3k each side brings or 30k, all that matter is both teams deserve to be there and their loyal fans get opportunity to attend and enjoy the day/experience - which I believe the pricing allows.
-
Well done to them, but clearly shows the power of TV money when a club with 12k seats can sign £3m players, consider a similar size club in Scotland such as Aberdeen can barely raise £300k.
-
This makes next wks game away to st j massive in the race for 3rd place
-
The option for season ticket holders first is fair, but I agree we should have a way of allocating seats as I'd like to be standing even if its nearer the back rows. The constant stand up sit down in the semi annoyed me as I wad about halfway down there weren't enough others around me willing to stay on their feet which I respect but find frustrating.

When will the tickets go on sale anyone know? Also which stands will we get and allocation of tickets?

Its all a disgrace and brings the game into disripute. The SFA need to be transparent as right now it looks like any investigation is prompted by the Celtic complaint and not the SFA own doing - they need to demonstrate that this is not the case and that they operate with integrity. Right now (once again) all over the BBC and therefore global media, the SFA are making us a laughing stock. If Celtic are questioning the officials, then thats questioning the integrity of the whole game and brings it into disripute so should be dealt with accordingly. SFA need to grow some balls and heavy fine of ban Celtic from the cup next season - drastic actions taht send a clear message. We had a ref strike before and the SFA were not going to stand for this behaviour again (apparently) yet Lawell is again pulling the SFA strings. We had the outcry (rightly so) when CFC players get abuse on the street and Lennon was attacked yet we see the simliar actions from them towards Josh - social media/online etc. Everything is a conspiracy, everyone wants to stop them winning everything. Its a farce.

Based on the response from the cup SF and attitude of Celtic both the club and fans, should heading there on the last game of the season be a worry? Celtic players with grudges? harsh challenges and even trying to get players sent off? Its going to be a hostile reception for our players and I'm guessing not many (if any) of our fans want to be there - will this affect the players mentally? Does Yogi need to keep Josh out of the game regardless if he is playing the final or not, also what about Draper and Tansey - 2 players we know react to provocation? Or am I overly paraniod? Still a few wks to go yet and the title will be over by then and could even be trophy presentation day so that may be a welcomed distraction for everyone Celtic connected.

Anyone want to organise a collection fund so we can send a big box of tissues to Celtic FC and tell them to dry their eyes. If they really have seeked clarification as to why an officials decision went against them, I hope the SFA fine the club and ban them from the competition next year for bringing the integrity of the game into question. That would send out a serious message to them and any other big club who wants to try bully officials into getting their own way. Wont happen though sadly as we'd need to have a collection for the SFA too so they can buy some balls.

I cant believe we are talking about how to entice folks to attend the cup final. Its a cup final. If people still dont want to turn out to support this team then thats up to them but they are missing out on our brand of football and something special happening. I really dont think anyone should be looking to the SFA to have reduced price tickets, alter venues, kick off times, free balloons or anything else - this is a national cup final, that in itself should be enough for anyone interested in the club and if its not well so be it. Even thinking of asking this makes us look like a small club needing favours and probably vindicates the SFA & media in their disdain for us.

Great game and great day. Sportscene did the usual of trying to make the game one sided for Celtic, but on balance I think there were an equal amount of good chances considering the misses by Ofere and Nicky cancelling out the Meekings clearance and hitting the post, both sides had periods of dominance, but Celtic did look a bit more threatening in the final third perhaps because in several cases we let the tempo of the build up drop and they could get back and defend deep in numbers. Love him or hate him, I thought Scott Brown did play well for them and broke everything up just as Shinnie did for us. Stewards seemed a bit OTT, nobody cared about the standing section the green brigade had. For what was nothing more than a group of about 50-100 ICT fans standing the police and steward presence was rediculous. What did frustrate me was the constant stand up sit down of the fans though, I'm happy enough to sit but my preference for games like this (and anywhere we can get away with it) like Scotland games or last years Cup final is to stand.......so people if you decide to stand up then stay standing, they cant throw us all out - if not just stay seated - the constant up & down is an irritation. So lets all be upstanding for the final please!!!!!

Fully agree, puts to shame all those who called him a traitor and questioned his loyalty to the club and the cause for the rest of the season after signing his pre-contract. True professional and just seems to keep getting better as a player. I hope all those on here who slated him already have the decency to show appriciation on the last home game........how about an applause at 3mins?

Selling treble winning scarves before the game wound me up, that alone made me want us to win. Great game, got lucky but you need that to win a cup but the team played great especially shinnie who was immense and everywhere so nobody can ever question his commitment to the cause. As for celtic giruy - some of their fans after the game having a go at ict are a disgrace.

Yet another JB led piece on this. While I still agree that proporionally black and minority managers are under represented - there is still no doubt that JB in particular was guff every chance he got (which was more than once or even twice) http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31970841

Agree with that, Warren demostrates all the attributes of being Shinnie's successor. Hopefully we can have Richie back next season, if not I hope he makes a move into working with Yogi and the team on coaching with a view to being manager in the future.

Only the club, SFA or Dean himself have the right to criticise the speed and behaviour of the medical cover - not the fans as in no way is anyone on here part of the contingency plans put in place or involved in developing the protocol across football (or other sporting events).
-
Is the process not that the player gets injured, then the ref stops play and allows on the physio/doctor then its for them to call on the stretcher? So in effect they dont respond until summoned - if not would they not just be running on every time a player goes down 'just in case'?
-
Too slow, tepid and far too many pass backs and play through the middle. No runners behind the defence or down the wings, no crosses into the box and nobody brave enough to shoot. The team looks like it lacks bite and confidence which is a worry and nobody wants to take control. Draper and Tansey no longer boss the middle of the park, goals have dried up and yogi no longer seems to know who the creative midfield should be from doran, Ross, watkins, williams, Christie plus we still have kink to consider. Not looking forward to the celtic games as if we play like this they will really hurt us badly.
-
He elected to punch several crosses and each attempt was poor at best, fumbled and was caught out a few times where we were lucky not to concede. There were some good saves though and in a poor tepid display I agree he did play a more memorable role than some. Time for Brill to be recalled if fit though.
-
From BBC site Celtic's Ronny Deila says he voted for Inverness Caledonian Thistle's John Hughes as Scotland's manager of the year because of the style of play he has encouraged. (Daily Record, print edition) Good to hear JH getting some recognition from his peers for what he is trying to introduce which is a bit of a deviation from the traditional Scottish style of play.
-
Essons distribution isnt as good, he always punts the ball long and high, we rarely have a keeper clearance or kick out where we retain the first ball when Esson is in goal. Brill tries to kick long but also throws and distributes to build from the back - when Esson plays our build up play changes to trying to pick up the ball or regain possession lost from goal kicks. The rest of their play is comparable, but perhaps just based on length of time playing together we look stronger as a defensive unit with Brill.
