  1. So,let me get this right JB,yer wanting to bet a bottle thats a penny shy of a ton that ICT will win this league and Dundee will not? Glenfaclas 18 year old They dinnae do an 18 year old in their standard malt range Glenfarclas
  2. One away defeat this season? admittedly need to turn more draws into wins but a lot of others in the same boat
  3. Ach,a point on a Wednesday night in Ayr isnae to be sniffed at,seem to mind it took a late dodgy penalty for you lads to scrape the same result at home a couple of weeks back! Seems we had far more chances once down to 10 men. Care to take the bottle of malt bet i offered Mannie in another thread? since he didnae respond :)
  4. Dundee (obviously) followed by shock announcement of league restructuring allowing ICT,County and Dunfermline in, keeping a'body happy and still games with little or no travel again next season
  5. Sair ane yesterday right enough, :( Jocky has some work to do now................
  6. I prefer to think of the first being a sublime strike from Kerr and the second some jinky trickery from GGH to leave 3 defenders flatfooted followed by a speculatiuve strike that got just reward for his efforts :D there was also a stick on penalty in the first half when Shinnie was brought down,Griffiths had a couple of efforts and Hutchie a fair effort knocked over by Easson, that said, you's should have been well oota sight by the time Kerr struck.................. Spose it depends whaur yer sitting eh
  7. Now there's nae denying you's outplayed us for long spells but surely a team with no "fight and drive" would have lain down at 2-0 down with 15 mins to go,no?
  8. Small wager in the shape of a bottle of Benromach or some other malt of your choosing?
  9. There really is a lot off guff spouted regarding the vast sums Dundee have spent on players, as DeeFC champs says above, 250K is the total outlay, possibly less than Marius will recive in compo!! Regrding current form since the new year i agree we're no setting the heather alight but have had Dunfermline,Partick,County and ICT all playing "must win or seasons over" games against us and we took 7 points,so not great but not too bad.The next 2 away games (Ayr and Airdrie)will be crucial (aren't all games just now?).To sum up 6 points ahead and in the q/f of the cup or 6 behind and chasing, where would ya rather be?
  10. Hmmmmmmm.....Reckon yer own bubble got a wee bit too much hot air in it Mannie as the pressure made it pop,ya really shouldnae sing they songs about Brian Kerr, how much did he enjoy that going in :004:
  11. Great result for us today, ICT outplayed us for 70 mins nae arguments fae me, but confidence seems to go oot the windae when yer put under pressure, cant believe we came away with a point but felt like a winner when Harkins deflected shot dribbled in. Think i'll come along on Tuesday night , not sure who i want to win, spose a draw would be nice :005: Of all the garages in all the world, i had to pull into the one where Manni and Caley100 were filling up :011: nae luck lads :)
  12. Mahonio, phone Laura on 01382 889966,I'm sure she will help you out
  13. Worth keeping an eye out for tomorrows program for the collectors and historians amongst ya's,tribute edition to the late great Bobby Cox
  14. The Scottish game requires SERIOUS revamp, the product is pish, unentertaining and only followed in the main by a fast dwindling hard core of die hards.Supporters need to have a glimmer of hope their chosen team can have a modicum of hope at attaining a wee bit glory now and then,be it winning the league, cup,or a wee trip to Europe. The current set up where 3rd palce is considered the target is mince and a good run in the Scottish cup is the only realistic target for 38 teams :D 2 x 16 team leagues with some cutting back of deadwood to facilitate,2 up 2 doon, and a pyrimid system for entry into the league for ambitious smaller teams.A new national cup with 4 regionalised mini league early stages gaurenteeing derbies,ICT /Coonty,Dee /Utd,Hib/Hearts,Ayr /Killie,Motherwell/ Accies and of course allowing the OF another game to swell their coffers.Winners of regionalised leagues into semi and fnal and a place in Europe for the winners to stop it becoming a "diddy" cup. The only thing absolutely certain is leaving things anything like they are just now will continue the downward spiral
  15. Yer correct TSNY,Dens catering is a disgrace and despite long and vociferous moaning from supporters, astonishgly the board opted for an EXTENSION on the current set up,much to the disgust of all concerned.I voiced my concerns to CaleyD when ICT jumped into bed with Lindleys, but apparently there's a get oot clause for ICT if their no happy. I wouldnae give a brass ha'penny to the current catering which can be a pain in the current freezing spell when a wee bovril would go doon a treat but carry in's are the way ahead for me :D
  16. Still, it's gotta help Griffs confidence for Saturday

Would say good luck for Saturday, but ya'd ken eh didnae mean it,so may the best (Dundee) team win. Eh'll wave as we pass on the Kingsway heading hame
  20. Heilandee replied to us2's topic in Caley Thistle
Had you beaten Ayr as i fully expected you to, i would have mebbes agreed with you Alex, but dropping those points and tomorrows postponment puts the pressure right on ICT, must win game for you lads or yer teas oot eh reckon.

Surely you're not implying that Shawcross intentionally broke Ramsay's leg? I think this conspiracy theory is a bit OTT. Fae greetin faced Wenger's response ya'd think so!!
  22. Cheers Manny, today wiz a big help without kicking a ba, big game next week, if ya dinnae win, yer teas oot!!
  23. Have a dram on me L_G :026:
  24. Good plan but County are playing Partick :(
  25. I think some folk assume under soil is a cure all for winter ills, obviously conditions were such that the man making the decision wasn't satisfied it was playable,I was very surprised it was off,but I'm sure ICT fans can rest assured if anyone could have got it playable, Tommy would have done so.
